  1. At least there is some justice in the world. This is as good as result as we could hope for the kitties.
  2. Thats great news to hear :D
  3. Definitely report the situation. Apart from the obvious fact that the poor dog is left out, I am quite sure that the fire escape shouldn't be blocked.
  4. How wonderful to hear of a Pit being given a fair chance to show his true colours. :D
  5. The welfare of the animals is the priority here, so I really think that you should certainly consider calling in a third party and having the animals rehomed.
  6. Maybe from his great ancestors, but I wouldn't put him down as even a pit mix.
  7. awww poor baby, just give him a big huggle and he will certainly forgive you :fadein:
  8. Divine, it was my last visit as I'm imigrating to the Netherlands next week, but I have promised the staff that I will most certainly love to bring Meg up anytime that I am back home :D
  9. hehe thanks for the reassurance! :D I will get some pics over the weekend now :D
  10. I got my graduation robes today whooo hoo! :D No idea how to put the sash hood thing on properly so I don't look like something out of harry Potter but thats beside the point. Anyhow would it be realy silly to get a photo of me in my robes with Meg beside me out in the garden or in the house? In a way I wouldn't have met Dr Roger Mugford who advised me on a Zoology degree if I hadn't been for Meg as I met him at a show that Meg and I were competing at. What do you think?
  11. A long line sounds like a great idea. We used to keep the pups on lines when we introduced them to the river for the first time, in case they sank :o
  12. Meg gets fed on CSJ command performance which is a food specifically designed by friends of ours in Wales and my Golden Zoe gets Pal complete crunchy kibbley bits with pedigree senior as she has a dodgy tummy at times.
  13. Kaolin and morphine is good for upset tums and diarrhoea too.
  14. Either Anatolian or Tibetan Mastiff perhaps? He is a beautiful and fun looking boy no matter what and I hope he gets a forever home soon :fadein:
  15. errr no... I think all doggy people have a slight element of insanity :o We know our dogs lick disgusting things but yet we still let them kiss us  Dog and cat hairs in food are just a normal part of life too hehe. I wonder what our dogs think of us ? I remember once at a show over in England we were camping and lets say we had a bit to drink, and my friend Fay and I were walking the dogs and came back to the tent to settle the dogs for the night. I had a schmacko in my hand ready to give it to Meg and I was chittering away to Fay and absent-mindedly put it in my own mouth :o Meg was sitting nicely and everything and the look of horror on her face when she saw me eating her treat was priceless ! Funnily enough she didnt reject it after i spat it out and she gobbled it up lol!
  16. Having just done a thesis on social behaviour of groups of BC's I concluded that it is how the dog is brought up that will determine how it turns out as a working dog. With Breed vs Working, I have to laugh at idiots that go and get a BC for
  17. Good luck with the classes and remember you can never have enough pics! :fadein:
  18. What a fantastic pupper to keep the child safe
  19. Oh thats one film I would love to see actually, so I'll have to ask Sander to download it for me :D
  20. One of Meg and I's very first obedience shows, she won the class and I was so delighted and was gushing away about my wonderful obedient dog. I felt a tug on the lead and turned around just in time to see my "obedient" puppy with a mouthful of cream cake from the refreshments stand
  21. What an excellent outcome report to hear. Heres to happy healthy puppies :fadein:
  22. I hope that sweet Chance gets a forever loving home. Poor girl deserves it so much.
  23. Get someone to hold Scuffy on a lead and you hold one of your other dogs on another lead and let them sniff each other gently and get used to actual contact. Give both dogs physical contact but don't be overly exuberant with verbal praise as this tends to get dogs excited which can instigate dominance problems. After a while swap dogs with your other dog and just do gradual introductions. You sound like you're doing fine and looking forward to seeing pics of the trio
  24. I so hope that Karma will ensure that these monsters get their come-uppance
  25. Your post doesn't make sense, but as Mei mei says if your dog is very ill then certainly you would be better having a vet examine him.
