1. the world is becoming a crazier place
2. whoa 5 and a half weeks is certainly too young just to enforce what everyone else has said. A chi baby especially will be very vulnerable to the big bad world. One thing about chis and small breeds like this is that they need very regular feeding little amounts (a spoonful of food whatever you are feeding and some potato will also stand by her) and often, so I would advise about 6 small meals a day to start with for the next few weeks, then down to 4 and so on from then. Little dogs burn off energy very quickly and use all the carbohydrates rapidly that they are fed, so you must ensure regular feeds little and often to ensure your pup doesn't get hypoglycaemic. Good luck and please do give us a shout if you need any advice or help.
3. That would delight my Dad's phone bill :evilbat: only problem is after the last phone bill of
4. paws crossed and hope everything goes well. Keep us posted
5. its ignorance to a degree but whenever that ignorance is being preached by someone who may be well respected in the community that ignorance will be accepted and the listeners will get the concept of thinking close-minded that pits are aggressive and savage. As far as being "confused" with the link to the story..... BS!!! denial or lying would be a more appropriate word.
6. aww Mouse you're making me blush now  :P Shih, my results this year at Crufts were 3rd in the Obedience world championships( not junior competition), 4th in triathlon, 6th in agility, 3rd in showhandling. Over the past few years we have got 1st in ykc senior agility, 2nd in agility, 2nd in obedience, and a variety of other places and medals in various agility/obedience/showhandling crufts finals  This is my girl Meg:

9. hi there, I used to be a junior handler in obedience, agility and show handling with the Young kennel club (Ykc) in the uk. unfortuately a lot of the events were based around england and scotland so Meg my Border Collie and I only represented N.Ireland in the YKC at Crufts finals.
10. perhaps you should ensure that your living conditions and parents will permit you to have a dog. Take a look at your lifestyle. I don't know what age you are but if you are at school all day your parents may not be willing to look after a pup. Just ensure that you are responsible enough to look after a dog and don't go out on a whim.
11. super pics. Thanks for sharing them :D
12. what sort of a sick sad thing is this! Dear God someone with pits please send some photos to these dickwangs and show them these savage beasts in their true form with their families. This is just taking it too far.

15. Definitely looks like there is some GSD in her. Shes lovely regardless.
16. At Crufts I met a magnificent breed called the Bergamasco. This breed looks like it is severely neglected with mats in its coat, but wow what a dog!

19. Hi there and welcome. Your furbabes are wonderful :D
20. Hi Anjie and welcome. I've read your post over a few times and I have to admit that I'm rather stumped. Perhaps go back to square one puppy training and give him an associated word when he pees in the garden with lots of praise. For the meantime use a baby gate across the stairs to keep him from going upstairs. It actually sounds rather like he is getting too excited to hold his bladder when he is upstairs perhaps because he associates going downstairs with going for a walk or something nice? Anyhow try to work through a process of desensitisation with praise when he pees outside. Gradually move the baby gate a few stairs up so that he will be allowed on a few stairs at a time but will not be fully allowed up. Keep doing this so that eventually he will reach the upstairs, but still limit the time which he is allowed to spend upstairs. When he is near the stairs, don't show any emotion or excitement so that he has no reason to get excited and release his bladder. Additionally only tell him that he is going walkies or whatever yu say when he is downstairs and off the stairs. I can't guarantee that this will work at all as in dealing with behavioural problems I haven't ever came across this, but try it and see and keep us posted.
21. It sounds like you all had a great day out and your Harlequin boy is very handsome. There is a Harley that lives up the road from me and guards the goats. He literally just sits at the gate to the field watching over as calm as you like just letting life pass him by. :D
22. Excellent detective work Corrie 8)
