1. Oh no that is horrible!!!!!!!!!! How can people be so greedy and heartless????? I would die if anyone stole bk (though they would soon bring him back LOL). Sending many positive thoughts hoping Snow White is returned quickly and safely and may the bastards who did this get theirs.
2. I love everything about BK except his stinky farts. I even love his inventiveness even though I hate most of what he does with it.
3. I think my dog is priceless... but I don't have $5000 for myself let alone my dog. I honestly don't know what I would do. Of course I would try and save him (ask my parents?), but I cannot do it by myself. I also have no idea about pet insurance so wouldn't be able to answer your second question.
4. Yes you're right Ickle they bred labradoodles here in Aust for the same thing... but they seem to be more popular as "designer" dogs now (my auntie has one, Lulu, and she is GORGEOUS  ).
5. Doesn't sound good Gooey... wish I could help but being on the other side of the world and never having experienced anything other than bad hailstones, I'm not much use.
6. I added my blue heeler to the list... :D Keeshonden: 3 Shiloh Shepherd: 1 Boxer: 1 Kelpie: 1 Labrador: 4 Mini Poodle: 1 Papillon: 1 Foxhound: 1 Standard Poodle: 2 Toy Poodle: 1 Lhasa Apso: 2 Mini Schnauzer: 1 Chihuahua: 1 Pit Bull: 1 Malamute: 2 Border Collie: 3 Maltese: 1 Blue heeler: 1
7. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Can't wait to see more pics of him. He's very cute!!! Good for you!! :D
8. On lead when it is required (everywhere but the off lead parks, really), and off lead at the parks. If there is another (same size or bigger) dog on a lead around, I will keep BK on a lead or use recall and get him back on the lead, because he will try and play with them by trying to mount them which is not acceptable behaviour, only because mostly the other dog doesn't like it and the last thing I want to do is get into a fight with the owner and for my dog to get in a fight.
9. I have cleaned ears with cotton buds (never going where I can't see) and olive oil, and tissues and warm water. Doing the dachshunds were a lot easier than doing BK, because you could just sit on them and there wasn't much they could do about it, BK is a lot bigger and more agile. So his have only been done once. His are quite clean by nature anyway thankfully.
10. Hi Shady and welcome back!!! :D Congrats on your little puppies, going to check them out now (you had better have some pics up :x  ). How are the horses you rescued going?
11. You are all going to kill me for this- but BK gets fed Pal Pedigree both dry and tinned food. Yeah it is crap but it works for him; if it ain't broke, don't fix it. He also gets bones to chew on during the week. He is a very healthy, extremely active dog (as you all know) so it must just agree with him. :)
12. Once a week, and we all took it in turns to do poo patrol. :)
13. awww Aroura sorry you won't be visiting but you have a very good excuse!!!   Fantastic news!!!
14. Agreed Mei-Mei, people who don't like animals (any animals that is) are weird. Mum never really liked cats much until Lily turned up- and now who is the spoilt queen of the house and who spoils her the most...? I have some friends who are definitely "cat" people and "dog" people- but that doesn't mean they would act in a cruel fashion towards a type of animal they disliked. Dad doesn't like cats, but he wouldn't deliberately hurt one, for example. I'm not really fond of rats, but I could never deliberately hurt one.
15. Tee hee, very cute and true Ickle
16. Good luck with it- sounds like a great idea. :)
17. Yay for you! It's only a matter of time you see before you cannot escape... mwahahaha :evilbat:
18. I think K has proven that drool can be cute. :P
19. Hey I think most of us have been there and done that- it's a little nervewracking, even though we know it's going to be fine! :D
20. I don't know whether to include this but our mower man got bitten by a Rottweiler while doing someone's lawn. He has admitted he is not a dog person and is terrified of them (not good when you make your living going into strangers' backyards!). I also got snapped at by a Kelpie when I was younger. I've never been bitten and I think it's probably, like Courtnek, got something to do with being able to read dog body language.
21. Bk doesn't drool... much. Compared to our old Basset he hardly drools at all. Nobby would stand on your feet when you were eating something, two rivers of drool on each side of her mouth and drool running on your feet, or if you were lucky, beside your feet. It was gross but very endearing at the same time.
22. Go Roxy!!! I am so glad all your hard work has paid off. :D
23. Oooh I saw one today at the park. They are a LOT bigger than I thought... BK didn't dare try and challenge this one to a game.
24. Dachshund 1 (years ago Oscar bit my cousin- it seemed unprovoked but dachshunds are notoriously snappy especially around kids who may not know how to read the signs of a pissed off dog)
25. Yay for Aroura and Lily!!!!!!!!!
