1. GOOD LUCK!! :D I am going to go apply at petsmart to be either a cashier or bather. i hope to be a bather, but i don't know if they are lookin for one or not.. cause i want to be a professional groomer.
2.
Chance from Homeward Bound.
i second that!
3.

There is no specific breed of dog called a "pit bull". The term refers to a group of dogs developed a for competitive dog fighting.
This also came from their site (if you didnt already read it). So according to that, they are some-what correct... but French bulldogs (among Boxers, Boston terriers, etc.) were never bred to fight!
Actually, the Boston was bred to fight! They were looking for a compact little dog to tear it up in the fighting ring! Boston's were bred from different types of bulldog (English and French), Pit Bull, and the White English Terrier (which was the culprit of the breed
4. private breeders generally means BYB's cause once again, reputable breeders never sell to pet stores
5. right. it's a sad sad world we live in :(
6. that's how it works with reputable breeders. but BYB's will have breeding contracts to dogs too. like i know a breeder who sold a dog on a contract and that bitch had to be bred on her 2nd heat, no health test, dog wasnt shown or anything, the person who had the dog was able to hold off til the dog was 2 years old. some breeders and just straight up crooked. cause they get the money from the pups
7. If you ever decide to breed. I hope both of your dogs have titles in the show ring or in agility, weight pull, etc. and are completely health tested
8. all of my doggies shed more on their back legs and near their tail and such.
9.
The Great Pyrenees is a capable and imposing guardian, devoted to its family, and somewhat wary of strangers - human or canine. They are often used to guard livestock. When not provoked, it is calm, well- mannered, and somewhat serious. Courageous, very loyal and obedient. Gentle and affectionate with those he loves. Devoted to family even if self-sacrifice is required. It is very gentle with its family and children. It does best with children when it is raised with them from puppyhood. It has an independent, somewhat stubborn nature, and may try to dominate a less secure owner. A serious worker, but very independent. Be patient when training the Great Pyrenees, as it may be slightly difficult. It is important to socialize and train this breed properly to insure good citizenship. Male dogs can be aggressive with other animals. The Great Pyrenees is good with non-canine animals, and usually loves cats. These dogs do not reach maturity until they are about 2 years old. Some are not good off the leash and may wander away. The Great Pyrenees tends to bark a lot and some tend to drool and slobber.
10. i have a very hard time believing that doggy abortion is banned anywhere. human abortion isn't even banned! when sheeba got tied with that dog, i called the vet and asked about the pill/shot but it had to be given within 72 hours of getting tied. so we just went with spay. the pound here does not spay/neuter their dogs either, but that doesn't make it OK for others to not do it either. the pound here SUCKS. they ARE PART of the problem. wich is really sad. they adopt out ALL dogs and cats, wether they are fixed or not, to the first person who comes in with the adoption fee :( the person i got eli from, got a dog from the pound, she was a pit mix, and he never had her spayed, and she had about 3 litters of puppies by the time she was 2, and then she got hit by a car
11.

i like big ole mastiff type dogs too. this guy is pretty stunning http://www.pbrc.net/dogpages/north/goliathN11473.html
He's cute but not for me or my lifestyle because I like having a multipet household.
as do I. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, one of those dogs being a pit bull terrier. He doesn't get along with 4 of my dogs and he wants to eat my cats. but i just do the shuffle and we all live happily
12. I had that done with Sheeba. I WAS irresponsible. We took her off the street at 5 months. When she was a year old she still hadn't come into heat, so i figured she was fixed. Then when she was 15 months old, she went into heat. She had a real "calm" heat, i didn't even notice it..until she sat down and i felt where she left a "wet spot" so i told all of my family to keep an eye on her and DO NOT leave her outside, always make sure you watch her when she is outside. what does my dad do? ties her out front and leaves her there. she got tied with some mutt. so 2 weeks later she was spayed. I was irresponsible in the sense that i didnt have her spayed BEFORE and the sense that i didnt make sure that she didnt get pregnant. but i was RESPONSIBLE because i made sure that no unwanted puppies came into this world..
13.
The vet said that she has a rare gene passed down to her from the pit's side.
What rare gene would that be???????????? :o
14.
And sold each of them for 20 dollars.
 you can see the care in the way you say this. as if you're proud you sold them each for $20. oh and just cause you send them off with spay/neuter certificates doesn't mean those certificates will be honored. hope you check up on each and every single one of those puppies to make SURE they get fixed
15. Yes, so very sad that Dogo cares about overpopulation. so very sad that dogo looks down upon BYB's and "accidental litters" so very sad that dogo has a bunch of people dedicated to helping all of the dogs that are dying in shelters everyday. so very very sad
16. WE SUPPORT YOU!!!!!!!!! I SUPPORT THE FACT THAT YOU BRANG 10 PUPPIES INTO THIS WORLD. I SUPPORT THE FACT THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BREED YOUR LAB. I SUPPORT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE A CRY BABY AND WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL SORRY FOR YOU JUST BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A YEAR. I SUPPORT THE FACT THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BREED YOUR LAB TO ANOTHER LAB, JUST BECAUSE HE HAD A GREAT PEDIGREE(NEVERMIND COMPETING WITH YOUR DOG OR HEALTH TESTING, WHO NEEDS ALL OF THAT  ) THERE'S YOUR SUPPORT. HOPE YA LIKE IT :evilbat:
17. any type of meal is better than just the plain ole thing. like chicken meal is better than "chicken" and beef meal is better than "beef" etc.
18. i can only imagine the health problems these dogs have
19. Do you live out in the country? or in town? Pyrs bark alot most of the time. and they usually like to be outside. I have a half great pyr half black lab, and she barks often just like a pyr.. they really need a job to do, like guarding a flock.. of course there are exceptions to the "rule"..you can find pyrs that dont bark and prefer to be inside..
20. boonie does have other problems. but just because he has problems doesnt mean he should be given up on. dogs are for life, no matter how sick they are. if it's treateable, it should be treated. if it can't be treated and he doesn't have a quality life, then let him go. but with HW it can be treated and the majority of dogs do pull through just fine
21.
Dude, you spelled Dalmatian right and even gave the second "a" a capitalization.
:P
22. :-? let me get some sleep and see if i understand lol
23. my dogs have never gotten kennel cough nor have they been vaccinated for it
24. send in your emails, snail mail, and make a phone call!! TEXAS - Rep. Edwards recently announced plans to draft legislation to regulate "vicious" breeds of dogs, including Rottweilers and "pit bulls." Rep. Edwards indicated his bill, which would be introduced in 2005, would require owners of certain breeds to register their dogs, obtain $300,000 in liability insurance, participate in training classes, and face felony criminal charges if their dog attacks someone. This will make 2 (New Mexico and Texas) State level laws being talked about for 2005 and we are not even in 05 yet ;o( This is just out of control. Al.Edwards@house.state.tx.us To find out who your legislator go here: http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/ and then click on who represents me? The address, phone number and e-mail for the writer of the bill are below and restated here. Representative Al Edwards House of Representatives 4913 Griggs Road Houston, Tx 77021 Phone: 713-741-8800 this is the email i sent. i tried to be polite and get my point across.. Dear sir, please watch this video http://www.deviantart.com/view/11454716/ and visit these websites http://realpitbull.com/ http://workingpitbull.com/ http://members.aol.com/radogz/find.html http://www.geocities.com/pbp_ca/game.html http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/8174/ http://loveabull.org/ go here and please click on "truth about pit bulls" in the left hand column http://furryfriendsfoundation.com/ Pleas sir, i ask you to rethink your decision to ban pit bulls. Please rather think about how you can prevent dog attacks by making sure there are stricter laws about animal abused and neglect, laws about dogs being chained up in yards. Banning a breed accomplishes nothing. People who create vicous dogs will only move onto another breed and you will have more attacks. Dog attacks will only cease to exist when you make stricter laws about the way people treat animals. Dogs and other animals are like people, they follow what they are taught. Thank You for your consideration, tracy foreman of IL
