i like big ole mastiff type dogs too. but that's why i like mastiffs LOL. i just dont like over sized "pits".. actually, let me rephase that. yea we all have our own likings for pitties(and other breeds) the dog you posted isn't my style either lol. i like gamey type dogs. i don't like real stocky dogs, but i have seen some real nice lookin am staffs but when i get the chance to do rescue or foster, i'll take any pitty that needs a home :D one style of "pitties" that i'll never agree with are the overly huge dogs and the really short blocky dogs(all the blue mutant mutts)

sheeba is about 23" at the shoulders. and around 60lbs.

i know!! I think she looks like a Shiba too!! that is actually how she got her name!! hehe. When i first found her, i immediately thought she looked like a Shiba Inu, so i named her sheeba. but then i was told she looked more like an akita. so who knows LOL.

'Tis true that NOBODY should breed for at least 2 years. and many reputable breeders actually HAVE STOPPED breeding because of the overpopulation. we just gotta get the puppymills and BYB's to stop, to make a huge difference. yay to you for deciding not to stud your male! :drinking:

i do imagine she has GSD in her also. but this kid was saying she was like pure GSD :o

pictures make her coat look shorter/thinner than it is, but she does have the coat type like an akita

the same thing happened with my grandpa's poodle he was real sore after his shots. but he recovered after a day
