1. nobody? :( ok well this is to give you an idea of what I am talking about.. this one is done though..i still have to paint the background.. this is the picture i did it from.. and this is the wood burning.. (sorry not a good pic)
 2. Sorry, just trying to think of ideas to make a lil money..cause the more money i have the more i can pay for my dogs and the less my dad complains :D Anywayz, if I took a pic of your dog and burned it onto wood and painted it, would you pay $10-15?? right now i am just doing heads...but i could do the body probably..and paint it any way you want.. thanx :)
 3.
Hey AAP....I know you didn't ask for my opinion....but I have a big mouth so I'll give it to you anyway! Mutts is right....you could start off as a cashier or in small animal and let them know where your interest lies. There were transfers always going on when I worked there. Plus, we did have a lot of highschool students that did come in after school only and on weekends. They are pretty good with working with someone's schedule if they need to fill a position. Most of their day time people don't want to work on a weekend. So they are usually trying to fill those spots.....as long as you do'nt mind losing your weekend, then it's all good!
 thanx, i'm open to everyone's opinion, cause like I said I MUST get a job!! I'll put down on my ap that I want to be a cashier or bather..we'll see... I'm also thinking of putting a wanted ad in the paper that says I am looking for a afterschool job working with animals, do you think that's a good idea? thanx! :)
 4. Thanx :D I guess i'll go apply to be a cashier or something. There are noooo jobs here except for fast food and i REALLY dont want to work in fast food!! and when working with pets(even just being a cashier at petsmart where i get to see lots of pets) is what makes me happy...and there aren't any groomer shops in my town and none of the vets need any help :( and if i dont get a job i won't be able to go on this trip in the summer that I want to go on..so I MUST get a job!! the petsmart is about 40 minutes from me..but it wont hurt to try..i'm also gonna apply to petco.. wish me luck :D
 5. Hey, i didnt want to PM you cause of the problems people have been having with that..so i thought i'd just ask ya here. If ya dont mind me asking anywayz.. How old are you? You just got a job as a bather at petsmart, right? what hours do you work? do you go to school? i'm just asking these cause I want to apply to be a bather at the petsmart in springfield..but i want to know if I even have a chance to get the job since I'm still in school...so i would only be able to work after school hours..
 6.
The brother-in-law of this collegue I was referring to was over at their place one day and decided that he was going to play with their JRT until he tired him out. So he grabs a tennis ball and heads outside. 3 HOURS later he gives up, basically can't throw the ball anymore, and the JRT still wanted to play.
My uncle has a JRT and that boy just keeps going and going LOL. he's great though, love him to pieces!

   Thats how Rimshot, my uncle's JRT is, i played and played wit him when I was up there and he just wouldn't tire! he would grab onto his rope and you could pick him up and he would just hang forever I love JRT's though, i hope to have one in the future
 7. JRT's are high energy dogs, they are bred to BE high energy. My uncle has a JRT and that boy just keeps going and going LOL. he's great though, love him to pieces! of course there are exceptions to the rule, there are calm jack russels, but they are not the norm they are the exception.
 8. I havent had any problems..
 9. yea, i wouldn't have been able to pick this dog up if he didnt have tags. cause i have nowhere to keep him and my dad would have killed me, i'm glad he had his tags on!
 10. I must be a lost doggy maganet lol. He was out front of the bar my parents were at. So i grabbed him cause he had his tags on...went home and dialed the number...but i read it wrong so the person was like "i dont have a dog"...i could have sworn i had the right number so I got a lil mad thinkin these people dumped the dog..but i grabbed a flash light and went back out(i left him in the van) and read the number..yep i had the wrong number LOL..so i dialed the right number..and the lady gave me her adress so I took him home...when i pulled up in the driveway you would have think this dog had just won the doggy lotto LOL he got soooo excited, practically dragged me to the door. he was a sweety and his name was dallas, i'm glad he got back to his owner! 11.
i've never had a problem with my bulldog...
and he looks like a well bred bully. :D these are the bulldogs you see from most "reputable" breeders and these dogs are just sad
 12. i like animal cops, i just dont like how detroit and miami portray pit bulls  and i like "breed all about it" and "k9 to 5" i kind of like pet star. and i like a few other shows. really hate the new "who gets the dog"
 13.
I feed my girls Canidae it seems to be great for them. healthy coat and skin good energy and all that. My sis in law just adopted a 9 mo old sheltie from the shelter that I work at and they feed science diet (i dont care for it) anyways she wouldnt eat it and didnt eat very much for the first week at home till I told them what I feed and she thought she would try it. :agrue: Well they went to their vet and he asked what they feed and she told him. He said that it was a real new food and that it isnt good to feed a all stage food that there cant be any thing good with feeding an all stage food.....and told them they needed to change  so I have their nearly 40 lb bag of food. I was kinda upset since she started eating it right when i opened it for her, she loved it! Everything was working out great. I have no idea what they are feeding now, they were feeding purina or purina one i think. As far as i know they didnt even keep enough to mix. Well there went my only chance as ive been trying to get them to change the other dogs food for a while to something that will help with her skin problems...... anyways my Q whats the problem with the all life stage food? Is it a big deal???
ugh i hate when vets spout off crap they have no idea what they are talking about! Try printing off some articles about dog food and give them to your sister
 14. the cutest...hmmm. well the cutest puppy ever is the english bulldog. but the cutest adult...hmmmm..i'd have to say Saint Bernard :P
 15.

i dont know about in canada, but i am guessing its the same here in america.. basically all the bulldog breeders suck, even the "reputable" breeders. why? because they are breeding bulldogs that are so short and pushed faced that they cant run or play or do anything, so it's basically a bump on a log instead of a real bulldog.
That's what I was talking about! I don't know how they are in Canada either. The breeder my neighbor got thier EBD from bred nice dogs. They didn't have breathing problems and were bred larger. He was probably 80 pounds or so. He was just the sweetest thing. But they had to get rid of him. I wanted to take him but my parents said no. Anyway, I'm sure there are some good breeders out there, you just need to be careful from the specimens I've seen.
yep, there are good breeders out there. just very few of them. there's a kid on another forum with a very nice well bred bully, he's just like K's bullys
 16.
he was at an old woman's house but she fell ill so she returnd him to the breeder. i guess i have to agree that we unintetionally messed the dog up. it's going to be about two weeks before our trainer can take because she's moving to a bigger and better training facility at the moment and so has no room for the dog at the present time. so i'm punching a lot of pllows during this time to keep myself from going crazy. but while we do have him we've become stricter. and i don't think it was my sister's doing because (i've just found out) before my dad's dog and the GSD started fighting and he put the the dog out there, his girlfriend came over and the dog crushed her hand, broke her thumb bone and a couple of other finger bones. Since our trainer can't itfor two weeks we're taking it up when we take Tucker for his training session. Our trainer already said when she first met the dog that she doesn't trust it.
if the trainer doesnt trust it and the dog cant be rehabiliated and the best is to be PTS, then that's fine, sad but fine, at least you and us know you tried.
 17.

It should be put down. My experience with that type of dog is....if they do it once they will do it again. My sister had one, my neighbors have one that attacked a customer and other dogs. It wasnt once either. It seems to be a changing world, at least around here. Its like the dogs have more rights than humans do. They get too many chances. They should NEVER get a second chance.
Why shouldnt they get a second chance? Is it the dogs fault that whoever owned him/her didnt train and raise him properly? Is it the dogs fault that maybe he has a high prey drive and needs a serious handler and a job to do? No. and in the correct hands this dog can probably be rehabilitated and trained right and never bite someone again. if the dog is with a good trainer, the trainer will know if the dog can be rehabilitated or not.
Yes, well said ... I actually have SUCH mixed feelings about it. Of course they should get a second chance but this one it's like ... a third? fourth? And it really is never the dog's fault, but a human created danger is still a danger.
it is kinda like the dog has had a second third and fourth chance, but not really, cause they never did any extra training or NILF or contacted a behaviourist til now, they basically just let it go on and on and didnt seek any help(from what they posted anywayz)
 18. an older dog getting mange is a bit uncommon.. there are 2 types of mange. sarcoptic(sp?) and demodex. Have they had an allergy test done??? What do they feed him? He could have an allergy to the food, or even a detergent or softner they use or something like that.
 19. ouch! poor dogs  we have a paper shreader..but we never use it..it's still in the box sitting in the closet

http://gargoylebulldogs.com/GARGOY~1/Page_1x.html look at this dog, he's amazing! http://gargoylebulldogs.com/GARGOY~1/Omen2x.html
