1. you know very well that Grant isnt what you usually see in an AKC Am Staff.. people who have watched dog shows on TV or have been to them can tell you that much. the majority of AKC Am Staffs are big and "squishy"(as i like to call em..) and probably couldnt run a mile without passing out...
 2. spring yard cleaning is commin up real soon here..just have to wait for some nice weather where it isnt so windy!
 3. :( this morning i went to let Eli out of his crate to put him back out in his kennel, i didnt know someone had let jewel out last night and never let her back in and she was outside and Eli killed her. I'm sorry Jewel that I was too stupid to make sure no cats were outside, i'm sorry that I failed you and that my stupidity cost you your life.. I burried jewel in our back yard next to her lil brother who died when he was 6 weeks old. R.I.P my sweet baby girl
 4. i hate to tell you this pigman, but dogs arent born knowing they are not alpha in a family with humans. they have to be taught that. just because a dog tries to be alpha doesnt mean that dog should be killed, thinking that way is obsured and I hope you never get a breed that is known to be dominant cause that'd be one dead doggy with you. simple training like the Nothing in life for free works really well and teaches the dog where it belongs in the pack.
 5. i didnt catch all of it..but from what i did say..it was different thats for sure  those people were the whippets were a lil..err..off? they treat their dogs too much like humans, like they let em get away with everything and dont dicipline them, etc., and thats just asking for an alpha dog thats gonna bite someone. i didnt see the gay couple..thank god..they didnt seem very bright about dogs....a lil too obsessed with dressing them up..but to each their own i reckon. the lady with the GSD's was a lil overzelous? crying because her dog has alot of sperm :o  i didnt really get to see the lady with the weim either.. and the lady with the aussies was pretty cool..i like that she competes in alot of different stuff with her dogs..but i think she pushes her son a lil too much..he didnt seem like he enjoyed being a jr. handler very much :-?
 6.
Thank you Mei Mei! (that post was also directed at Kendalyn) ...youll probably regret defending me after this post though... AAP, I thought we were on good terms again but now you've ruined it like you did before. Why must you always insist on starting things?! You are rude, and I'm saying it flat out. I dont care if I'm being as rude as you by saying that, I think its something that needs to be said! LC ASKED for our opinions and when I say something you jump all over me?! I have so much more to say but I think I should just leave it before I hijack LC's thread. Sorry Steph, and good luck on getting a pup! :D While I really wisdh you would consider adoption, its completely understandable to want a purebred and benefit from that through showing and competitive sports. :)
I dont appreciate people who put a breeder down when they know nothing about that breeder. its' one thing to say you dont like a breeder for such and such reason, but it's another to insult her dogs. i'm still on good terms, but if you feel that I am oh so mean and rude that's fine, dont hurt me none, and if you have more to say about me please feel free to PM it to me, it's not good to hold it all in. you act like i called you names or some crap, i never once said anything mean to YOU. I dont have enemys unless someone insults me, my family or my dogs wich nobody has so i dont see why there is such hostility. i'm not being hostile towards you guyz, you just take my posts the wrong way, you have no idea how I am feeling when I make a post, you guyz just automatically take it that I am being rude and hateful, wich I wasnt, just standing up for Cold Steel pits. i never once insulted you or anybody else, just said i loved it when people bad mouthed a breeder when they know nothing about them. sorry for hijacking your thread chaos  :P
 7.
If the dog is only aggressive to children or other animals and the new owners know of this I don't see the problem. If the animal is found to only have aggresion towards children or other animals, then why not place him in a home with no kids or other animals. Besides we are talking on incident here. I do understand that you must protect the babies well being. The dog could hurt the child and you would never forgive yourself, but I feel there are other things that could be tried. Now if the dog was thought to be totally unreliable and may freak out on any one then you have no choice. This dog needs a behavioral evaluation. See what happens. If this dog has been around this baby for the passed 11 months and nothing has happened yet, why is he aggressive now? Maybe you missed something. Maybe something happened you didn't see. I just don't feel right about this.
sure there might not be children in that home but there are children EVERYWHERE. every street, every town, and the majority of homes. what happens if that dog accidentally gets loose and mauls a child?? rehoming a known agressive dog is just asking for a lawsuit
 8. i love people who have something to say about a kennel but yet know nothing about that kennel.. Their dogs dont look like lab crosses AT ALL..i'm not sure where the heck you get that? there dogs are some of THE finest true bulldogs i have EVER seen in this day and age. Why are their dogs on chains? Gee i dunno..you try having 20 + housedogs..and chains are better than kennels..they give the dog more space. some of their dogs arent titled probably because they havent finished yet. but they compete alot with their dogs They have ONE LITTER a year..how is that bad???? You find me ONE..just ONE true APBT breeder of ADBA style dogs that health tests??? Maybe they dont know about better food, ever thought of that one?? Alot of people are oblivous to the fact that there are better foods out there or maybe they have tried better foods but they havent worked for their dogs? and the reason why they have so many dogs is because they keep the majority of the dogs that they breed, getting a pup from these guyz is one of the hardest things to do. they are a true breeder who breeds for themselves and not for the general public to make a quick buck. They dont give off that "tough reputation" but whatever floats your boat  unethical breeder? give me a break! people these days dont appreciate a true breeder of APBT's that are the only thing keeping this breed TRUE.
 9.

i like lady fire fox, she looks good there is something about lady hawke that I dont like ..i guess it's her head..a lil too mmm square i guess you would say?? but she's nice lookin lady tessa looks good :) definately alot closer to you than Cold steel pits  i like that CD pits has only bred once in the 20 years they have had APBT's...they look like a great breeder :D
Yeah I'm not a big fan of her, even if she is the mother of the other two! I especially like Fire Fox, I'm hoping she's the one they breed. What I'm looking for is much more of an "old time" dog. They do look finer boned then even most ADBA dogs but they're very leggy bitches. I absolutely LOVE Cold Steel pits but they're all the way in Florida. If you look at the majority of their dogs too they're small, no more then 50 lbs. http://www.coldsteelpits.com/ I don't mind a solid dog, but I don't want anything larger then 50 lbs personally. The dogs do look thin, but they're not thin from being hungry. If you look you can see pure muscle on them, would you call a human athlete thin? The dogs work, they're not AKC or UKC dogs.
a true APBT is suppose to be small, no more than 50lbs, the majority of them are in the 30-40 range though. :D (as you know..just puttin that out there for those who dont know) in a dream world where there was no overpopulation I would love to have a cold steel pit dog :iloveyou: when are you gettin the puppy?? this year? next year?? you must post tons and tons of pics! :P
 10. i like lady fire fox, she looks good there is something about lady hawke that I dont like ..i guess it's her head..a lil too mmm square i guess you would say?? but she's nice lookin lady tessa looks good :) definately alot closer to you than Cold steel pits  i like that CD pits has only bred once in the 20 years they have had APBT's...they look like a great breeder :D

 12.

ok so if you rehome the dog whos to say it wont bite the new owner? or get lose and bite someone??
You're assuming the person I re-homed Devi with would not know about her aggressive nature. If I had to go that route, I would re-home her with a behaviorist or someone who was an expert in aggressive dogs that felt he/she could work with Devi. I wouldn't just give her to some other family and not let them know about her problems. Yeesh. :-?
i didnt mean you. i was talking in general of anybody who has an agressive dog
 13. ok so if you rehome the dog whos to say it wont bite the new owner? or get lose and bite someone?? If the OP cant keep the dog then they need to take the dog to the vet, cradle the dog in their arms, and have the dog humanely euthanized. there is no sense in rehoming an agressive dog, your just putting other people and kids at risk.
 14.

Also whoever said "How hard is it to keep the baby and the dog apart?" apparently has never had a toddler or a live dog. Not helpful at all just Trolls keep out.
Your right.i dont have a 4 yr old nephew and a lab who hates kids... i keep her seperated from him and it's not very hard at all. yea i'm a troll....troll that has been here over a year..posts pics all the time and has quite a few friends here
Does the child live with you?
no but he is here on a daily basis
 15. no she doesnt health test. i dont know any ADBA breeder that has true APBT's that does health test.. wich kinda sux....but what can ya do..
 16.
I have to agree with Izzy. To me those pups look like whippets :-? never seen APBT look so skinny There not supposed to have there ribs showing well thats my point anyway:o
there ribs are suppose to be showing and they are suppose to be that skinny, they are conditioned and what a real APBT is suppose to look like her dogs are nice..not something that i go oooh and ahhh over but that's just me...there is something about her dogs that just isnt breath taking like most ADBA pit bulls I see. but she looks like a good breeder :D

 18. wow :o i cant believe people are so quick so say kill the dog or get rid of the dog. i mean god forbid anyone think about the pain the dog is probably still in from knee surgery, dogs dont always show the pain they are in when they are in it. or that the dog is just not comfortable with the baby crawling around it and making all those weird noises that babies make. or god forbid anyone suggest taking the dog to a behaviourist and seeing what they have to say.. just because the dog is a certified therapy dog obviously doesnt make the dog 100% perfect. and god forbid the dog be tested for any and all health problems like thyroid that can make a dog act in this un-normal way. i truly hate when people dont think about everything that can make a dog act this way and they just automatically say get rid of the dog or kill it. when i get a dog, i make a comitment to that dog FOR LIFE, meaning that i will do anything and everything in my power when I come to a problem with my dog(like if my dog was ever to bit someone). obviously the babies safety is something that should be thought about at all times too, but keeping a baby and a dog apart isnt all that hard..baby in one room..dog in the other...
 19. 100% spay and neuter your pets!! i hate unaltered male dogs..really grosses me out!
 20. wow how can someone sit there and take pics of their dog being killed??? :o god forbid he actually go out there and stop the dogs :WTF:
 21. That is awesome!!! and yes that foster person is living in a dream land, that's so sad cause that puppy could have an awesome home with you and your family!
 22. you can ad my website if you like :D http://www.geocities.com/allamericanpup/Woodburnings.html?1108852227718?200519
 23. the "pit bull" from the first one http://www.mnp13.com/FindThePitBull/FindThePitBull.aspx that dog is an Am Staff(yea same breed different look but since these are looking for APBT's..) that dog in the 2nd one looks like a good APBT to me, small and lean just like they should be and he looks kind young so he might still be a puppy..who knows
