1. i'd be pretty worried if my dog just all the sudden growled and bit me :o definately get him to a behaviourist ASAP! and have him looked at by a vet, have a thyroid and blood tests done to make sure nothing is wrong with him medically that would make him act bad
2. I am 100% against cropping, docking, debarking, dew claw removal etc. unless its for a medical reason
3. i've always thought about buying one of those for my mutts..i think they'd like it..i'll give it a shot next time i get some money :D
4. people who are court ordered to have their dogs debarked or get rid of them...they and the dogs wouldnt be in that situation if the people would have done something BEFORE pissing their neighbors off so bad that they took them to court.

6. i dont want to start an argument but... a 100 or 200 adoption fee is nothing, and the shelters/rescues lose money. it costs alot more for them to fully vaccinate, spay/neuter, heart worm test, heart worm prevention(if they are negative..) and flea prevention, etc. if you cant afford 100 or 200 then how can someone care for a dog?? it costs alot of money to properly care for a dog with food(high quality), bowls, leashes, collars, tags, shots, flea prevention monthly, heartworm prevention monthly, etc. and in the event of something tragic..well you see what i mean...
7. wait, what else would you call it?? responsible breeders also call it a hobbie, what else would it be?? its certainly not a business(business means money...breeding is NOT money) and it's not a way of life..so i'm not sure what else you would call it besides a hobby??? bad people call themselves rescues too but that doesnt mean rescues are bad just because bad people use that name... the smaller dog the more expensive because unsuspecting idiots think they are getting something special so they shell out a couple grand  same with like big oversized "pit bulls" people will shell out $5000 for a big blue unhealthy mutant mutt :(
8. its not required for them to be cropped, but i'd say probably 95% of show people crop dobes and boxers and such....judges definately favor a cropped dog..unfortunately
9. its 12 weeks here too, just one shot. none of my dogs had any suffered any ill effects
10. my sister, her boyfriend, and his son are staying with us right now...they'll be moving into the attached apartment as soon as it's done..but for now they are living here in the "main house" gabe(the son) is 4 years old, generally he's an ok kid, i mean he's got his problems but who wouldnt with his upbringing(his mom is a drug addict...long story..) anywayz twice he's hit/tried to hit my animals. first time was 2 days ago, he hit maggie on the back with a foam sword..i know that might not seem like much but this foam sword has wood running through the middle and he hit her hard(made a loud thud( and maggie is 13 so i dont take no crap from anybody with her.. so his dad spanked him(dont agree with that..) and then sat him down and talked to him about not hitting animals.....but then tonight he just tried to kick blaze......i dont have much patience when it comes to the abuse of my animals  so does anyone have any suggestions for me??? i've told him a million times to NOT hit the animals..but he still does...
11. something could have happened to him with his previous family.. my girl keesha was dumped in a ditch with her littermates at 8 weeks of age, but it's apparent that whoever had her before abused her and the rest of em, keesha will run from my oldest brother and my dad, but she is great with the rest of the family. some dogs really just never get over their past and sometimes they just dont bond with certain people

20. :iloveyou: love all natural boxers!
21. a properly conditioned APBT is just like Bruce lee.. a conditioned dog is healthier.
22.
She's talking about it be a flaw in the breed, it's not.
I am now?? Thank YOU for telling ME what I was talking about  i never once said that a "squishy" dog was a flaw or anything of the sort so I have nooooo idea where you got that from
23.
:o I'm sorry, that's not true. AKC Am Staffs tend to be more massive in bone, but in no way is what you claim true. "Squishy"...you couldn't place with a "squishy" Chihuahua or Pekingese, let alone an Am Staff. Nobody in their right mind would show a "squishy" dog. And, if you're refering to 'pet' Am Staffs...who cares if some may be squishy....not everyone conditions their dogs, that isn't a flaw with the breed. As for the running, false as well.
...the majority of AKC Am Staffs are big and "squishy"(as i like to call em..) and probably couldnt run a mile without passing out...

by "squishy" i didnt mean overweight. i just mean bigger, more lip, bigger heads, heavier boned, etc.
