barkley is 19 months. he's a springer spaniel/beagle mix

i didnt mean they. i meant people in general. the dog usually can be rehabilitated in the right hands

too many people get GSD's and other such breeds and dont realize the drive these dogs have! :evil: therefore you screw up the dog!

there is a country that does require the dogs be showed and worked...cant remember wich country though

AKC and UKC judge on looks and looks alone..i dont care what anyone says. why do you think they care so much about the ears and tails. just looks. ADBA(pittys) on the otherhand judge on how a dog is built for performance. they dont care about the dogs ears, you can have droopy ears, cropped ears, crazy ears, rose ears, any ears. they judge on the dogs body and how the dog is built, and if he has a sound body for working, etc.

a dog being a champion IS a joke..no offense to anyone. but i have seen people champion their dogs in just 2 or 3 shows..so sad.. showing is all politics. I dont even want to see how most show dogs are kept at home..poor dogs. If I were to buy a dog from a breeder(wich i wont) i would buy from straight up working lines.

I was sitting in the computer chair talking to my dad and barkley juped into my lap..and then pushed against me so I fell back..and where the thing for the wheels meets the base of the chair...snapped off. bad bad barkley...not exactly getting on my dads good side!

oh cmon Yea, i hate labs and goldens and any other retrievers, geeze, horrible dogs. :roll: oh wait, I have a black lab and a golden mix that i love dearly. There are a few hundred breeds, why? because all people have different wants/needs and preferences. It's not shocking to me that some people don't like certain breeds. Some people just don't like the personality of certain breeds. It is ignorant of people to just hate a breed based on stupid media BS.

I always said i would NEVER own a golden. I just didn't like all their hair and their personality, etc. Then I got ozzy(he's a mix yes but he's so close to being pure it's not funny) and he is exactly what I have always wanted in a dog. he's smart, gorgeous, fetches, swims, loving, and can be trusted off leash. see now if Ozzy wouldn't have been dumped into my lap, i would probably still not like goldens, but now i like them and would like to have another golden or golden mix in my life.

UHHH. WTF? They can't have food shipped over there??? I think if they can have the soldiers rations shipped over there, then they can have dog food shipped over there. don't tell me they cant ship dog food, i know they can. oh i c, they want our money. :roll:

i would contact your local authroities about the kid. they probably won't do much, but it's worth a try
