I agree with Kendalyn on this actually. I mean, purebred or not I wouldnt crop/dock my dog but... why should being purebred be a valid excuse to crop/dock a dog? I know some of you might bring the whole docking and balance thing into play but a lot of purebreds are just for show/pet quality not work, especially in America. I dont have a problem with a vet cropping/docking a mix or purebreed. Just, like I said, its not something I would do...

The Great Pyr won Working Group.... my canine science teacher said its coat was incorrect. :-? Wonder if hes right.... Im so happy the Shorthair won! Also, that handler is the one my teacher usually uses. He said she handled the Doberman from the first night, too, I think....

Hmmm, I dont get it... I mean its possible what LC said, but if you have a good dog then you should be proud of that, not try to deny it. :-? Ive never heard of an American Bulldog being under 50 pounds. The smallest Ive heard of was around 65. The standard says the smallest is 60 for females. And anyway most AmBulls dont look anything like pits but I suppose thats mostly because a lot of breeders are looking for a more "bulldog" look. There are some that do have a more pittie look to them though. It probably was a pit bull. I have seen pits with blue eyes before too. Its not very common but its difinitely more common than a 50 pound American Bulldog!

Wow, I have never heard of a spay or neuter being that much! :o Females usually do cost more than males (unless theres a problem with neutering the male). Hmmm, I think you may have been cheated out of your money before. :-? Just my opinion... I would check other places to see if you can get it cheaper because that sounds a bit high to me.

Well as far as the backyard breeder thing... Im not too sure if the breeder is one or not but there were some things on the site that bugged me: -"toy teacup" :roll: -"sold AS IS" meaning no garuntee for a good health! :evil: -"under 2.5 pounds" "pocket babies" these cost at least 900 almost as much as the show aulity ones! :o -"They may or may not be show quality, but, SHOULD produce some fine quality pups." :o :evil: Prices start at 400 which isnt too bad but then you look at show quality and it starts at 1000. Thats a lot and if this person was a good breeder then fine but shes not so... ugh, just UGH! Im sorry but the more I read the more I agree with PUP. :cry:

Well, most of you have probably read about my taking Canine Science. Well today we got to wash dogs... since i didnt have a dog guess who I brought in. Of course a rescue dog! :wink: I brought Ripley who is a great dane / lab / boxer or pit bull mix. Hes so great. Very people loving and not too dog aggressive. Hes so loyal too. Hes only known me from the 6 or so Adoption Days hes been to. He always cries when this one volunteer leaves him and now hes started to do that for me too! I feel so loved! :lol: Anyway, I was brought to school today by the volunteer that Ripley loves so much and he had to stay in a crate until 2nd period when I came to class. When I brought him out some people were scared because he was so big and, in a way, resembles a pit, but only slightly. I kept him by my side the whole time because of people being scared and let him go by those who wanted to pet him. Bathing him wasnt fun though... he was really nervous and almost choked himself trying to get of the grooming table. :o He got me soked trying to wash him so now I smell like wet dog and soap at school, lovely. :roll: I swear I hate being around such immature people. Its so hard for me to be so in love with dogs and be around people who dont give a sh*t... ugh. :evil: :cry:

That sux Roo... I have had problems too but not as much as you I dont think. It seems like ever since the admin came in and worked on the frontpage its been really srewy. My only issue is it logs me out about every five minutes or right after I post. Its a big pain in the butt. Other than that (and the frontpage not being updated) I havent had any problems. Sorry you cant be here on dogo Roo, well, at least not without any problems. :(

I agree with bulldog puppies and corgis (both pups and adults) but, to me, the cutest dog in the world is exactly what Mutts said [quote] Cute... Ok I cant help myself I just have to say that.... The show APBT can look more like an AmStaff, especially if it doesnt work at all. The two lines DO look different... I dont get how you can say they dont. They CAN look the same but they dont always.
