Thats just... so...so, stupid! I mean like you all have said, why would anyone watch their dog being attacked ...unless they were in shock, but we know he wasnt because he took d*mn pictures! :evil: Why would someone drop off their dogs to kill another dog? I dont get it. Unless they wanted theyre dogs to be PTS! :evil: There mightve been some sort of issues between these people maybe? Or maybe some sickos just wanted to watch a dog get torn up. :cry: I feel bad for the Pei. Being bitten up for an hour and not dying... thats just awful. :( And no it doesnt make sense that the dog was still alive after an hour. :-? If a pit bull really wanted to kill a dog, it would be dead within minutes but its not like it was dog against dog, it was two to one. There is no chance those dogs were pit bulls at all unless they somehow possessed the human trait of being evil and enjoyed torturing other beings. :roll: I think its safe to say that anyone who REALLY cared for their dog would risk their own life to save it. Based on that fact and Mutts' summary of the interview, I can pretty much say that either these people are in deep (and I mean DEEP) denial about their dog's death or they don't give a flying rat's @$$! But I'm pretty sure its answer choice B! :x

I wish it were that simple... I honestly don't know why she even said yes in the first place because I KNEW this was going to happen. I did. I even said that to her after she said I could have a dog. I told her, "I know it's not going to happen... its too good to be true." What I was thinking was, "Things never EVER go right for me so why should such a great thing happen for me now?" All she could say was, "Stop being so negative!" It's not that I'm negative, I just don't expect things to ever go how I would want them to... mainly because they never have. I'm just looking at reality. The facts. What I know; and what I know is that if I get my hopes up when that "no" comes around it's harder to get over it. So I don't hope for anything anymore. I swear this was the last straw for me. I'm completely dead inside. Things have gone downhill so fast and so suddenly... I hate it. I need to get out of this house.

Ugh, I knew it was too good to be true. :cry: :cry: :cry: Its a long story whats going on but to make it short... I missed the bus the last two days. The first time I mad eit to school, late but at least I got there. Yesterday I couldnt make it at all. She went mad about the whole thing. Now I cant have a dog. I know I was in the wrong but that still seems a bit harsh, IMO. Especially since she knows getting a dog is the world to me... AND the fact that Im going through a really tough time with all this depression sh*t. Im not using that as an excuse but it is a really, really hard thing to go through. Im going to make a topic in NDR about all of this. :sadCyber:

Shes mostly white but she has a big "saddle" of chocolate (almost blue in certain light) brindle! Its gorgeous!!!

Hmmmm, are you sure thats a Colby dog? Ive seen them before and they do look well-bred (and obviously are, duh lol). This dog looks very terrier-like... while all the Colby dogs Ive seen look like a perfect balance or otherwise leaning towards more bulldog-like. Its a puppy, isnt it? That may be why it looks different. Still... to me it doesnt look like a Colby dog. :-?

OMGx100000000000000000000000!!! My mom decided I can have a dog!!!! Yesterday I made her hold this precious pit bull puppy and was trying to convince her to let us have her. The puppy was good at sucking up too. She kept licking her and then fell asleep in her lap! :lol: Anyway, when we got home we discussed it and things went unbelievably well! We've had this discussion many times before and it always comes down to no. I think this time the only thing that was different is the fact that she knows Im depressed and she knows a dog will help that. Well, I emailed the puppys foster mom today. She wants to find a "better" home for her. Shes looking for someone who is either home 24-7 or can bring her to work. I mean its a nice thought but kinda dreamland, ya know? Its hard enough to find a responsible home for a pit bull anyway but to expect this? I dont know it just seems unrealistic. Im hoping she might change her mind but even if she doesnt I can get another pit bull puppy. The only thing is if I cant get this puppy, I have to wait til summer. That way I can work on crate-training, house-breaking, socialization, basic training, and everything as much as possible before school starts again. I know the puppy will be home alone for 8 hours during the weekdays but by then it will be a bit older.

Crap I had a good thing typed and Dogo decided to not post it. Ugh! I watched it. Honestly I didnt feel anything when I saw that. No, Im not heartless. Its just that Im so used to sh*t like this. I find it pathetic that there is THAT much cruelty in the world that someone like me cant feel anything when I see my passion killed. Something does need to be done about this though. Is there a celebrity animal lover we could contact? Maybe s/he could help start getting the media involved? If much of the nation is upset by this, the government might feel under pressure to "give the people what they want" so there would have to be punishment right? I hope this person gets what he deserves. It just disgusts me that most animal cruelty cases only put the person in jail for 2 years max.

Those dogs on that site are really amazing looking and obviously athletic. However, by the looks of that site I wouldnt go to that breeder. I may be wrong but I just have a bad feeling about it...

As much as I want a pit bull, the Neo comes in second! I want one! :bigcry: Good luck with that! I hope you get him, since we all know your home will be great for him. His owner sounds like an idiot for sure! Once the dog is nuetered though, Im sure the owner wont come back around...
