 I would at least finish him if he's placing that well, unless his mom and dad already have their ROM's attached to the end of their name.

I use the shower with my dogs too its so easy and there is no escape!! All my friends think Im strange
You're not alone, I shove my dog in the shower too, I find it so much more easier, less struggles :niewiem:
That's the only way Sandy (my IG) will take a bath.

Tick-o-Mania! Heat, and my grandfather...
Rosebud replied to Rowie-the-Pooh's topic in Everything about dogs
 Rowie, The adams spray can be used as a preventative as well as to kill existing ticks. Whenever Sally gets a tick I spray that on just the tick wait about 15-20 minutes and the tick is dead and easy to remove. We used it to keep horse-flys off of the horses. Just spray the dog down with it and the ticks will stay away from her. The only problem with it is that it is water-soluable so it looses some of it's power after a dip in the pool or a rain. -

YEP she ate them!..my mum tried to tell me she just tipped over the big, glass aquarium thing they were in to play with them because she could see them and she was bored and that they probably just ran away and hid...but what she did not bank on was me being the first one to see the pile of sick with brown hair and blood and bones in it just outside the back door!
Ewww. :smhair2: Lhiannon Sidhe did that with a little green lizard that was on the porch. I showed it to her thinking she would chase it. Instead she picked it up and started crunching before I could stop her.Crazy dogs.
Rocket did that to a frog. Him and the frog were having a stare contest about the time Rocket opened his mouth to get the frog the frog jumped and landed right in his mouth and he started chomping.

:D Well at least we know he's a TRUE blonde
WISH HIM LUCK FROM ME BEFORE HE GOES :) WARN HIS BREEDED TO WATCH HER WINDOW SILLS
Wait maybe you can pretend that he picked up the window sill habit from here.
-
:D I say repair the damage, secure everything down with bolts, paint the walls and sills with Teflon and have a cup of tea and a hot bath Sunday night, you might be lonely without him now but the day will come when you beg the breeder to take him just so you can have a night off.
-
:D Oh Shara you have a terribly two child with alot of puppy curiosity. I would burp Sally & Rocket when they would get the hiccups, once they went away they would give me kisses saying Thanks mom.
-
:D No problems with alarm clocks. But Pumpkin would answer the phone for me when the answering machine picked up. I got a call from a friend one day and she told me my greeting was really weird and she wasn't sure she had the right number. Somehow he changed the greeting and it was now a duet of kitty meow's.
We have a spare room that's designated as the "cat room." The litter box is in there and we have a child safety gate across the door. The cats can jump the gate, but for the dogs, it's a big ACCESS DENIED. There's nothing they'd love better than to go surfing for cat turds.
That's my office. My gate is screwed into the inside door frame on one side so it can swing open like a door, I also have it elevated just enough that the dogs can't get in but the cats can. However the litter-box is across the hall in the laundry room. I have one of those electric litter boxes and the crunchies are swept into a holding tray with a lid. The babies don't bother it. But it may be because the very first time they did get into it they had to wear a muzzle all day, it worked they have never touched the litter since.
-
:-? I take my babies with me, we just search till we find a dog-friendly motel. Have a good time in Montana, take some pics for us.
-
:D Are they salvagable at all, could you sand them where they look pretty and maybe use a little putty.
-
:D Yiiiiiiiiiiiiippppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Now go to the How many dogs posts and add him to the total.
-
:D Does she anybody's clothes or is it just your clothes.
-
  I know it's not funny right now, but Sally did the same thing to my bay window in the kitchen, she chewed the corners off of every sill. We puttyed the sill, cut the corners off and repainted it.
-
:D Sounds like Zebra has learned that mommy will be back.,
-
:D That's great! Are you going to keep the lost baby.
-
:D Does she have any toys and acceptable chews, bones.

Tick-o-Mania! Heat, and my grandfather...
Rosebud replied to Rowie-the-Pooh's topic in Everything about dogs
:D Order the biggest bottle of this you can find and spray your yard and dog with it. It's really safe and will kill ticks, fleas and a ton of other stuff. ADAMS FLEA & TICK SPRAY. Here's a link to a place that has some along with lots of other great stuff to order online. http://preview.jbpet.com/Shopping/default.asp Wow, I just checked it out and they have a concentrate for use on the yard only, will have to order some of that. -
:D
I feed my dogs yoghurt too, but I buy the flavoured ones. I'm currently giving about 2 tablespoons a day - is this too much sugar???
Just make sure that the yogurt you buy doesn't have any added sugar, if you can't find any flavoured yogurt with no added sugar you can add the flavorings yourself, I use pure vanilla or carob powder (tastes like chocolate but safe for dogs).

:D
I think a puli cross whippet would be cute Then again I am a dog on stilts lover (and a crossbreed lover too - rescue crossbreed of course)
Don't get me wrong Lisa, I absolutely love the breeds with that body structure, ie: that's why I have an IG. and I also think Puli's are cute, but the short hair and long legs of the Whippet and the long ropey hair and short stocky build of the Puli would not be very compatible, in other words it would not look like a Komodor.
-
:D UPDATE! Did badger get to come home?
-
:D I really wouldn't want to see ANY dog-crosses. But I think the worst would have to be a Puli and a Whippet. Can you imagine seeing a mop on stilts.
-
:D Oh! Sally absolutely loves the shower head on massage and I have a mitt that looks like a rubber dishwashing glove but the palm and fingers have little stiff teeth that brush the coat and remove loose hair and dirt, Sally starts moaning and grunting when I use it.
-
:D He needs the practice anyways. Sally & Rocket take their baths in the shower with me. Well, I end up needing a bath myself after the shake all the water, er, loose hair all over me. They absolutely love being in a warm shower as opposed to a cold water hose.
