1. Maya is a BEAUTIFUL creature! :smilecolros: She is fortunate to have found you!
2. Happy Birthday, sweet Charlie! :eating: :BIG: :iloveyou: :smilecolros: :beerchug: :calus:
3. Shara - My thoughts are with you on this sad day. Your poem was a lovely tribute and expression of your love for Hazel. I can't say more...
4. That's a great picture. We can rest easy knowing that this canine customs trainee is very thorough! Very cute, thanks for posting it!
5. I agree that breeders have a responsibility to breed healthy, defect free pups.....I just couldn't stop myself from checking it out and seeing the progress! :o
6. Max, my rottie, is 4 years old. Ben, our saint, is almost 4 years old. Sadly, they are both unemployed at present, so are low on funds - neither could ever be a good pick for a sugardaddy. They are remarkably talented "moochers" though! Snoring wouldn't bother Ben in the least! He "saws logs" with the best of them! He would be enamored of Rosie's snoring. True love! :iloveyou: Speaking of snoring, I'm going to do a little of my own to be ready for work tomorrow morning! Thanks for the posting banter - have a lovely night!
7. Alas, marion, I fear they would never return... They would probably fall in love with your lovely English ladies (even though both my guys are neutered), the beautiful seashore, the wonderful bits of chicken, beef, and more, and forget about their poor old mom in the states! :( But thanks for the offer. I can only hope that they haven't discovered my dogo password so they can read this post! :o
8. I am definately NOT TELLING my boys about the good eats available at your house! They would be on the phone booking a flight, packing their bags, and be on their way over the Atlantic ASAP! I would miss them....
9. Doesn't it make you want to "get inside her head" to figure out just what triggers that response? It's curious... Ben will not sing for any of my husband's instruments but the flute. But my sister (this is years ago, mind you) used to practice her clarinet in our backyard and our dog Skipper would just sing and sing along. Without fail!
10. Don't tell anyone, but I enjoy singing "You Are My Sunshine" to my Max-i-well. 'Cause he is a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. But mostly because he listens to me, tilting his head this way, then that way. Ben just seems to roll his eyes and go back to sleep. Sometimes when the mood strikes, my husband will get out his flute, play a tune for the boys and then Ben will sing, and yodel, and howl, and grunt. When he begins to howl Max will join in, and sometime we all wind up howling too! It's wierd, but fun. I love it when dogs throw back their head and howl to the ceiling or sky! What an awesome sound! :grins:
11. And another dog lover is snared in Dogo's web!..... :evilbat: CONGRATULATIONS! :multi: :smilecolros: :multi:
12. They were having a meal when I checked in. Cute!

Good! I was so happy to read Petal's update this morning. I am glad she has turned the corner... :smilecolros:
14. I'm so sorry Hazel.... I do wish things could have turned out differently for you and HazelNutMeg. I certainly am not going to yell at you or get mad or think you are just ditching a difficult dog just to get an easier one. I'll be thinking about you in the days ahead....as you come to terms with this painful decision. When you are older and can make decisions totally on your own, then.....you will.
15. Yummy! My boys are drooling....A PROPER breakfast! :eating:
16. Thanks for your update! Sounds to me like Cleo's arrival could not have gone any better. Have a great time with your new girl! :B-fly: She sound precious.... :Rose:
17. Here's another example of mankind messing things up!
18. It's almost noon where I am. Any news yet?
19. Good Grief! :o It made me laugh too!  Thank goodnes for that! I needed something to cheer me up today!
20. Our local news here in Michigan picked up this story. They showed video of this very lucky girl. She is a beautiful dog and extremely friendly and happy in the video! Some people just don't have any common sense or caring spirit at all!
21. Beagles are very cute, my niece has one named Mr. Peabody. But they are SLAVES TO THEIR NOSES! Once they put their nose to the ground they will follow a scent trail to the bitter end. PLUS...they will bay like crazy when something excites them or frustrates them. I lived next door to a woman with two beagles who were kenneled constantly...After the second year of baying I KIND OF got used to it! :o They are lovely dogs, but do have some special issues for the city dweller.
22. Have a speedy, safe trip to bring home your new BABY! :smilecolros:
23. :o Daisy - YARD HUNTRESS! :o I would have freaked out too, but you are right about the "circle of life" thing. I read somewhere about the average life expectancy of a rabbit - can't remember the exact days - but it was pretty short! Do you think Daisy is now going to lurk around the gazebo for "seconds"?
24. Have a smooth, uneventful surgery, Chelsea! I'll be thinking of your baby, Daisymom!
25. :kciuki: We are right there with you, 100 percent!
