1.
I would accept witness acknowledgement, credit card receipts...things of that nature.
I don't think any of these things are going to happen unless they come from Rott 'n' Pit. I wonder where he is...? I can't say with 100% certainty that he is selling Drey, just like I can't say with 100% certainty that anyone on here is who they say they are. But I can look at quite a bit of evidence (even circumstantial evidence is still evidence and people are convicted on it) plus a prior gut feeling that something was never totally right with this guy and say he probably is guilty. Sometimes you have to go with your gut. I hope he isn't selling Drey though.
2. Newfiemom and Courtnek, out of curiousity, what would you accept as proof that Rott 'n' Pitt is guilty? It's not like he's going to come here and fess up...
3. Wow they all look great! A visit will probably tell you more though :-) Can you go visit them?
4. oh what a cool video!
5. The only real 100% proof anybody can have is if Rott 'n' Pitt were to take pictures with Drey and Diallo together with that day's newspaper. And it would help if he did it every week or so for a few months. That's the only way of proving this that I can think of. I don't know if he would be willing to do it or not. I know I would do it to clear my name if I were him.
6. I can see them! Awesome pictures :-)
7. She may be to the point where you can't do this alone. You might need to consider calling in a professional to help you out. This is a problem you really need to take care of for safety's sake. What will she do if you hold a treat in your hand with your fist closed around it and hold it out to her? Will she bite you to get at it? This is the first step to teaching leave it and if you cannot do this part without getting bitten then you for sure need a professional trainer. Also you should have her on a leash while you're training. Maybe you cuold do it after she's just eaten so she won't be really hungry. I know what you mean about finding something on a walk (like an old glove) and wanting to take it home. Buck does this to. But if I tell him to leave it, he will. This is the point you should be at eventually.
8. That's great! :D I was hoping for more information though
9. I'd say you have a major problem if your dog has already attacked you with clear intent to harm. Your first step is to put her in some major NILIF training. She does not get ANYTHING she wants without doing something for you first. And I would not allow her the privilege of having her toys available to her at all times. Put them up until she has some designated play time (which she works for as well). Second step is to teach her the "leave it" command. I don't know how hard this will be for you because of her aggression. The way I taught my dog was by holding a treat in my hand with my fist closed and letting him sniff it. I said leave it and waited until he turned his head. As soon as he turned his head away I gave him the treat. I progressed like this until he was very good at it and turned his head away as soon as I said "leave it". Then I did it with my hand open and then with the treat on the floor. Now I can put treats on his paws while he is laying down and he won't touch them until I say OK. You can also start feeding her by putting her in a down and giving the kibble to her by hand gradually. Maybe by tossing the kibble to her across the floor to begin with. This is all made harder because she has bitten you in the past. You need to be careful because obviously you don't want to be attacked again. I think drjeffrock has a dog with previous food aggression problems. You might want to PM him for more tips. Or maybe he'll see this thread and give you some pointers :-)
10. Hopefully your friends will not try to breed this poor dog. :( Maybe this experience will make them give up trying to find a mate for their current puppy.

While I don't agree with what you're doing, responsible breeders are not a huge part of the problem. You do require all your puppies be spayed and neutered right?
12. You can always check out your local rescues :-) They usually have plenty of puppies to choose from.
13. let us know what happens...
14. Wow, this looks really bad. Poor Drey. It's really weird because a little while ago, RnP was asking about showing him. I guess he figured FatAssTom would be a better guy to finish out his "show career". :-? Or maybe just breed indiscriminately. I now highly doubt Drey is neutered. So how bout an explanation Rott'n'Pit? What's going on?
15. Way to go Candy! It's nice to win, even when it's just for fun :-)
16. didn't you already ask this?
17. Excellent news! Congratulations! :-)
18. I would keep doing as you have been and keep them together. It's going to be hell trying to get Pauly to change his mind and it may not even work. I would just hope that when the time comes, Pauly is the one to go first. If not than you can cross that bridge when you come to it...
19. Those collars are very cool! Hopefully it will solve your problem. How do they get the tags off without breaking the key ring? Or do they break the ring also...?
20. aww that's too bad. :-( I hope your knee feels better soon! I wonder why she doesn't like agility when it is warm outside? Will she do it when it's hot? Or is it just any warm temperature that bothers her?
21. I don't know if I could say no to those eyes! What a sweet picture :-)
22. Kendalyn, you're a St. Bernard! No bones about it, you're a dedicated, trustworthy St. Bernard. Loyal and good-hearted, you're as reliable as they come. Your naturally protective personality is reflected in the way you treat people close to you. Yay! I like being a St. Bernard :-)
23. Be careful feeding too much fish though. Mercury poisoning is a very real concern. Stay away from any sport or predatorial fish. They contain much higher levels of Mercury. The FDA says people should not eat King Mackeral, Shark, Swordfish or Tile fish at all. They also say people should not eat more than 12 ounces of other fish a week. I'm not sure what they would say about dogs, but most dogs are smaller than people so I would at least follow those recommendations. I've seen people with Mercury poisoning when I worked at a doctor's office. There are lots of nervous system disturbances associated with Mercury poisoning. Changes in personality, loss of memory, tremors, difficulty concentrating. It's pretty nasty.
24. You can call poison control and they can tell you what pills are unmarked.
25. tried both those things. :-( Do you have a link?
