That is such a sweet story. I really do believe in those things. When my first black lab got ran over and passed away. I found her on valentines day on the side of the road. Well, a few years ago I got my black lab Nostalgia. I got her in mid march. Well as pups they never looked alike, but as she got older she started looking more and more like my old lab. Nostalgia was never hard to train. She was potty train within a month. she never chewed on anything but her toys. No problems drinking out of the toilet. Never any problems with her trying to get out or run away. And if we leave our back gate open by mistake, she comes right around to the front door and sits there til we notice. And tricks have always come very easy to her. The longest it ever took me to train her on a trick is an hour. It just came natural to her. The really weird part of this whole thing is she was born on the day that my old black lab passed away. I really feel like her spirit is in her. Hope you guys don't think i'm weird now. I know a lot of peolpe would, like my husband for one. But my mom feels the same way i do about Nostalgia, she sees a lot of my other black lab in her.

Shar-Pei's are a higher dander breed.

It looks as if he was layed in acid, or burned. That poor pup, I hope he makes it! :cry: We use tide but not the liquid tide, and our tide is up very high on a self where the kids and dog can not get into in. I thought i'd share with you how my dog likes to get under my side of the bed at night and fart all night. I use to foster when my husband and i split up. But I no longer foster because we are back together and he does not like animals very much. But he puts up with mine. So i put yes, for use to foster.

That is a great thing to know Rowie. And i am soooo proud of your dog Rowie. He has come a long way. I am so proud of that little girl to. Thanks for sharing that story with us. Oh, and i really appriciate you making a link to see the ticks. :wink: I'm not to fond of bugs, but if it comes down to it, I will pick as many ticks off of puppy and dogs just so they can be put up for adoption. I'm not to sure about seeing pictures of the ticks :confused1: I think i would rather just know that they are no longer there. Besides i've seen enough ticks while volenteering at our humane society. My reward is knowing that you and your Rowie is happy and clean from ticks. I don't mind seeing a naked picture of him but you must promise to show a picture of that handsome boy when his coat is all grown out and silky. :D

And dog fighting is a very sad and cruel thing. Those poor dogs get treated very badley. And it saddens me every time i think of all those poor dogs that are only breed for fighting. I only hope they can stop this cruel thing from going on any longer. My heart goes out for all those poor pups out there.

My pup was from a friend breeder. I started fostering my pup at 5 weeks because she was not eating and getting pushed out (She was getting pretty weak) So i took her home and gave her that extra love and feeding that she needed.I also brought her to the mama and pups every other day so they could be together. At 8 weeks i did not expect to get so attached to her and ended up buying her from my freind at 8 weeks. I'm glad i have her, she is the best baby-dog ever. I couldn't ask for a better dog.

I am so glad that everything is going better. Please give Rowie a big kiss and hug for me, and let him know we are all there for you guys. Can't the new vet give the shot? You should get the name and ask the new vet about it. Good luck and please keep us updated.

Is that the pup from your first photos? There is so much difference. his color does not come out as well from the scanner. But they are still such pretty pictures. Thank you soooo much for the photos. Such a pretty doggie. You make me sooo jealous. :P

Sometimes my dog will have a loud fart while she is walking. When she does she stops and looks back at her butt with her ears standing up like "Where did that come from or what was that." It's pretty funny to see. :lol:
