I've just changed their winter fleece blanket for a nice summer duvet. By the way I do have several of each, just in case you thought they lay on one all winter and one all summer :o :o :o . They have two mattresses under this, one thin and one thick. Rosie couldn't wait for me to throw the thing in the basket before she started jumping in, I had to hawk her out a few times so I could straighten it, only for her to get in and ruffle it all up again.   They also have a vetbed in front of the fire which they love on a cold winters night. :D Couldn't resist this cosy pic of Rosie, mind you it's always very hard to get her out of her pit. What favourite sleeping places do your dogs have? Yeah, mine love our bed too but with two great lumps on it it's hard to move, and I do like to toss and turn a bit. Bronxie, must be something about Gun Dogs because Ruby likes to lick bellybuttons :o

Poor Ben, he's only a little fellow my heart goes out to him. :( Looks like you might be in for a sleepless night. Not that you could sleep anyway worrying about him. :( Keep us updated and give him a big hug from all of us. :buzi:

God Crested, I only asked you earlier if Ben was okay. I hope I haven't jinxed him. It might just be a tummy bug, also you can pick germs up when people don't wash their hands after using the toilet :x :x :x , these can be anywhere, :x :x :x handling money etc. Hope you both get better soon :D There's a lot of gastro enteritis round here at the moment. I've had tummy pains and the dreaded D for over a week now and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. Dosed up on painkillers.

I have just bought tea tree shampoo online from petplanet. I would imagine other sites sell it also. :D

Crested, is Ben okay now after his little turn last week? :D -
So Funny. Ruby and Rosie love socks. Ruby goes in the wardrobe and nicks them. I once took them to the home of some friends and Ruby was running in and out, she pinched the ornaments from the side of the tv and when we went outside in the garden to find them the lady's dirty knickers were all over the lawn. She'd nicked them out of the laundry basket.   BUT WHY ONLY THE KNICKERS? :D Good job she likes dogs and had a sense of humour. :D

Just done as requested Rosebud, after all she is in her usual place, at the side of me in her basket. I must post the picture I took after I changed her bed the other day, she dived straight onto her clean duvet and snuggled down. It's a nice pic. :D

Thanks everyone. Tried to give Rosie her first tablet when I got home from vets. Thought she'd taken it twice, once it was stuck on the back of her tongue and I'm trying to push it down her throat. She spat it out both times, so had to resort to wrapping it up in a nice piece of ham. Somedays I'm thankful she's a glutton. :o

Hi Jen, vets have just contacted me. Rosie HAS got a underactive thryoid. I'm just going to pick her medication up. They're giving me 3 weeks worth of tablets and then they want to see her again. They said she should feel much bouncier and better. :D :D I feel so much better because it was what I'd suspected. Glory to the internet as I would never of known this existed in dogs and she would just of carried on regardless. :( Then I've got to go and do the dreaded food shop :x :x

Ellie, I've already told you before what a handsome lad your Jay is. He was the one on the previous photo wasn't he or have I got him confused again. :-?   Thank god it's Saturday, I need a drink :drinking: :drinking:

Crested, Mouse, have you seen Paint Shop Pro 8. It's out on the 19 May but I pre-ordered it and it arrived yesterday. I've not had much time to practice yet but it looks brilliant. Lots of new things to do with it. :D :D -
Martin, there is no way I can call you Bomber Harris, :o more like Bloomer Harris. :D You missed us again this afternoon, we were out with Lizzie and Janet. I must remember to take my camera everywhere with me, although not if it's raining. Yeah and another thing, I got stuck with John yesterday, :x where were you when needed? Oh, and everyone wait till you meet Millie, she's gorgeous, can't say much for her owner though

K, that's the article I read in our paper. It showed a toy with fur on and dna tests showed it to be cat fur. On sale in this country, you just don't know what you're buying. :(
-
Mouse, Jen, did you see the articles in the paper today about the dog and cat skins used to make fur products. There was a picture of a blanket made out of six Labrador skins. It made me feel sick    Then they said that two cats were hugging each other because they'd just seen the others slaughtered and were frightened, they had their paws around one another

Thanks for asking Jen. :D No, they're still not back yet, the vet's said they must be very busy and she'll try to chase them up. I wish they'd hurry the suspense is killing me. On a good note Rosie is still being more active than usual, she was play fighting with Ruby earlier and all was well until Ruby decided she'd had enough and got a bit nasty. I calmed things down and then Rosie dived in for another bout. :o :o :o :o

I come from Warrington but live in Ashton-in-Makerfield. It was just that I used to know a Jay from Halewood and it's an unusual name. My best friends husband comes from Huyton :( Anyway Jen, off to bed now I'm shattered, happy shopping, speak to you tomorrow. Goodnight
-
Pay by debit or credit card. Always been pleased with my purchases :D Does Jay come from Liverpool, if so which part?
-
Yes, I get most of my dog supplies from there but you can go mad. They've got flashing flourescent collars so they can be seen in the dark. The lights flash red (Ruby, there is no escape in the darkness) :( I've had beds, mattress, omega 3 oil, collars, leads, pet first aid kit which I make sure I take on holiday with us, a boot for Rosie because she was always cutting her paw :( and numerous other items. I only ordered them last night and I've just had a e-mail to say they will be here tomorrow :D Oh and don't lets forget my most used purchase, their ergonomic feeder. There service is very good :D http://www.petplanet.co.uk
