"The Beave" is going away to a show with his breeder. It's for a major and she was nice enough to take him for me. Aw Horsefeathers, she looks like she knows she was bad - unlike "The Beave" as we've taken to calling him. He was banished to the x-pen this morning, but he seemed oblivious about it and was busy playing with his buster cube. Matt wants to pull out all the sills anyway and replace them with oak stained the same color as the floor. I wouldn't let him do it earlier because the house was new. I bet he smeared them with liver or something because the dog has this uncanny knack for chewing up stuff he'd like to get rid of. :o

Anyone want a slightly used Shiba? He's been so good until now - he was wondering why I wasn't so happy to see him when I got home. Then he comes over and lays down next to me to chew on one of his MANY chewies. BRAT! I sprayed all the sills with Bitter Apple. I hope he gets a whole mouthful of it. :evil:

Not saying it isn't true, but I have enough experience with PETA to know that they lie, lie, lie - about nearly everything. They've been to court many times for falsifying video so their credibilty is zilch in my book. And yes, some of their members have even admitted to abusing some of the animals themselves. There was a cat mutilation case a couple years ago where the abuser turned out to be an AR activist who wanted to expose how "evil" humans could be to animals - and he videotaped it! :evil: They'll make up anything to support their cause which is zero interaction with humans and animals period. I know P&G tests on animals, but that video is highly suspect in my book due to the strict regulations on animal testing in this country. Iams is the equivalent of a bag of sawdust anyway so that's a good enough reason not to feed it.

Turns out they didn't have any appointments available this week when I could get up there anyway so he's getting it done next week. They use Home Again too.

Thanks, do you know if it causes any discomfort at the injection site? He has a show this weekend and I'd like to get it done before he goes away, but not if it's going to make him not feel up to showing off. Hey, it's a major and we need to win. :P

Expanding on the Shiba/Frenchie cross, what other dog combos would you not want to see? I say Mexican Hairless x Newfie - a hairless dog with webbed feet that drools. I think my mythical "Shiboodles" would be ugly as sin too - that's my hypo-allergenic dog that blows coat twice a year. :lol:

I don't think a Frenchie would hold up under the onslaught of Kato. He is rude, rude, rude. If he wants to see someone and their dog is in the way, he shoves the dog out of the way by leaping on it. After all, everyone else is JUST a dog - and he is Kato. :roll: Frenchies also have those munchable looking bat ears. Oh and K, I hear yellow drool towels are all the rage now.

I'd have to say no to a bulldog. They show around the same time too, and the handlers all carry drool towels! :lol:
