Rowie-the-Pooh

You know, its such a shame what they're doing to this wonderful breed! My friend has a Lab and he is the sweetest thing ever, although if you do try to take his rawhide from him he WILL growl. But, other than that he is such an angel! The people next door to my friend fell so in love with their dog (Valentino) that they went and got a Lab puppy, too. Thing is, they didn't expect their girl (Lily) to be so hyper. Well, duuh, she is a puppy! :roll: Anyway, they are good owners but Lily is such a hyper girl and she THRIVES for attention. Whenever we're passing she'll come running up to the gate and whimper and whine. Its so sad. Just an example of ignorant owners, and ignorant breeders who'll gladly give their puppies to people so obviously ignorant. :-?

Wow, it sounds excellent! Do they ship outside of the USA?

Urggh, this makes me so mad! :x What were people doing with a pet wolf, anyway? Is that legal? And leaving a kid alone with an INJURED wild animal (and without knowing what his background was, anyway, since they adopted him from another family) is just plain stupid. Anyone with an instinct and logic should know that. This is so upsetting, of course an animal would attack anything that annoyed it while it was injured. Its irresponsible people like that that give dog owners a bad name... But poor boy, too. :( None of this was his fualt, either. Him and the wolf where both victims here. Will he have those scars for life?

I'd also like to add that you are such an amazing person for adopting a senior Golden (or Golden mix)! Its been my dream since forever to adopt a senior Golden, and I'm so glad someone else is going to, too! So many Goldens are dropped off at shelters once they are 8 or over, its sickening. Your such a great person to be giving Hogan or Brutus a second chance at life! :D

I think male dogs don't usually start peeing with a raised leg until they're a big bigger. Its normal for a male puppy to pee like a female, they all do. I may not be right because I have only owned female dogs. As for the toys, its totally normal. I guess he just doesn't like toys! Make sure you stimulate his mind, though. Play games with him... How old is the puppy? When did you get him?

Its really great that you're going to get it done so early, that way if she has any problems you can catch them while they're still early! Most owners would have given any excuse, either the "Tomorrow, tomorrow" one, or "When she's a little bit older". You go girl :wink: . Okay, this sounds stupid, but who's Kira :oops: ? Haven't been here in a while, must have missed the post. Is she your new puppy? What breed?...etc.

I thought she had hound in her, too. Just couldn't put my finger on it. Yep, she looks like a Black and Tan Coonhound, probably mixed with something else, or just three quarters of some other breed. Her face looks a bit too lean to be a B&T, and her ears are not quite as large as the B&T (is that possible? :lol: ). Very beautiful dog, whatever breed! :) Welcome!!

Its okay, ESS. Losing a dog isn't just "losing a dog", its losing a beloved friend. You have the right to cry... But comparing is a no-no :wink: You've waited months for Carson, have fun on the wild rollar coaster ride that is Life With Carson! :lol: Btw, when did you get him? I didn't know :oops: .
