Does anyone on here live in the state of TN? Well I do. I could tell you more cop stories that would curl your hair. I can assure you from personal experience that they do NOT follow the law. They do as they please. I am not highly convinced that they are trained at all. I am certain the ones here, where I live, have never been told how to handle the possibility of a dog's presence (friendly or not) in the midst of an arrest. The cops in VA weren't much better, though; one time when I accompanied a lady to her home to retrieve her belongings ( I was acting as the domestic violence court advocate at the time) I phoned the sheriff and asked him to send an officer over, as it looked to me like the man was home (wasn't supposed to be). "Ma'am," he drawled, "I can't send any of my men up there; it is MUCH too dangerous." (it turned out ok....I handled it myself. :roll: )

:lol: i was going to ask whether anyone's new year's resolution included exercise! I quit walking the boys a few months ago, due to a knee injury. I have gained 6 lb and the knee is no better, so maybe quitting walks wasn't the thing to do... sure will be hard to start back now that it's cold!!! Someone has asked me to start teaching an aerobics class(I used to teach 9 classes a week) .... considering it just to get [b]ME[/b] back in shape!

That's how Fella sleeps. he puts his head on the pillow. If there happens to be only ONE pillow, he takes it! :lol: he spends a lot of time getting under the covers, then on top scratching them, then under etc.

:o Egg, I cannot see any of your pics, so I'll have to take your word for it! :wink: I don't raise dogs, but I used to raise horses. it was a proven FACT that the ones that got out and ran at will and were able to eat grass anytime they wanted were a lot larger at age 1 year than the ones that were kept in the barn and fed grain and hay. So perhaps we could apply that to Duck and say she needs more exercise??? Also what are you feeding her?
