so who knows about police dogs? I am interested in my local K9 unit as they have offerd me the opportunity to take their training course. I am wondering about breeds and what they are specificaly good at, I read the boxers are great police dogs but Ive never seen one. I also remember talking about the Malinosis as being better cut out for a cop dog, but again never seen one. At workingpitbull.com she praises the pit bull's ability in the field. so what do you guys know, I'm assuming each dog has a handfull of traits that out do the others and that the GSD and Malinosis type dogs are just better rounded.

yeah those dogs will fight to all hell to be free. all of our huskies needed to have ALOT of space to be in almost like a horse. I wouldn't be all that suprised if this had something to do with your problems

I'm sure you have already tried, but maybe try to get the two together while holding tessa close, tight and above the cat. see if you can get tess to mellow out and relize that the cats okay. It's all I can think of, find some way to demonstrate that the cat is harmless. and if that doesnt work set tess on a chair and let her watch as you beat the cat's a$$ :lol: okay okay I'm listening to "Crowbar" so excuse the violent outburst :oops:

they could only afford the crop job and the pup I think is now 6 months old. the hiccups werent really hiccups they felt more like a light convulsion or spasm in the chest.....maybe to strong of words but I didnt feel like they were normal hiccups

well K, I got the feeling that abusser was getting her a$$ kicked so I didnt want her to feel like having the dog meant she needed to get abused all over the place. but I'm with ya my mom, sister and girlfriend are tough and they fight with the best of us too :D it's just a weight thing they dont have as many pounds to hurl forward as me and the dogs hehe :lol:

That should be EVERYONES reaction, cuz if a kid gets stung by a bee, we always ask what he did to the hive or if he tried to step on it. should be the same with dogs

we were like in 8th grade and figuring out that it is possible to smoke weed everyday for a year. so we out gettin toasted everywhere, finally we came home and his grandpa was like "your gonna leave my house Ian Thomas" I ran outta there pretty quick :lol: I wonder what happend to those guys

I heard they are alot like the Dogo/Presa in temperment, so if thats true than yes they natural guard/fighting dogs. although I'm still not convinced the Presa was a bred fighter
