He was an old dog (around 14.) He got a tick disease, his blood count was low, and so on. A lot of deaths recently :( ... RIP all of you and we miss you!!! I origionally was just posting for Old Katie but I figured Id post some of the others too.
3. Everyones pretty much said what needs to be said. Its good your thinking about training but your puppy is still very young so dont worry about it too much yet. And yes, that is a little bit too young to be away from mom. Weve discussed this in many old topics before and 8 weeks should be the age when theyre leaving their mom. Good luck with everything though and if you need help ask us.
4. Thats really creepy! :o I believe animals can sense spirits and theres been plenty of stories to back that up (but then again you cant always believe what people say because they like to make things more interesting than they actually are.) It really scared me one time when my cat had his pupils really wide and the fur on his back was straight up (he has really long fur so its looks really ackward.) I moved slightly and he jumped so high! I was really concerned about why he was so scared. I still have no idea but it scared me so bad! Once in a while he will do that again but Ive only seen him do it in MY bedroom which is even scarier!!! :o I hate my imagination, it makes me even more scared.
5. Voted, but it looks like he didnt need my vote. :)
6. AAAAAWWWWW!!!!!! K, you gotta look! ...Uh oh, I just heard something crash in my bedroom, gotta go.... LUCKY!!!!!!!
7. Oh Im so sorry! Hugs to both you and Apollo! ...I had to go through the same thing with my dog when I was younger. I know the pain well.
8. Great pics! I dont think your cats big... mines 14 lbs only 2 less than yours!
9. :stupid: :ices_blah: ...that was a long post about pretty much nothing! I dont know where you get your information from but there are PLENTY of small dogs in the world, we dont need people to keep breeding them to get their numbers up believe me!!! Over-population is still a very BIG problem so I have no idea what youre talking about! I dont think breeding is neccesarilly bad but when the wrong people do it then yes. PLUS it will take many, many, MANY more years of people not breeding to solve the over-population problem so get over yourself!
the end of the use of ALL domesticted animals--no pets, no livestock for meat, no zoos, circuses or rodeos, and we must all become vegetarians.
This doesnt even make sense! Animals in zoos are not domestic! Sorry I know I shouldnt have replied but this just angers me so bad.
10. :o :o :o :o :o
11. Yes, HAPPY BELATED BDAY TO JETTA!!!! :bday: :drinking: :drinking:
12. Well, I would say yes. I only saw a little bit of the site so far but I came across mixed breed pups that they bred! :o I just find it ironic that they have an image that says "Say No To Puppy Mills!" ...Ill look at it more later but I find it odd that any responsible breeder would have so many litters and mixed breeds too.
13.
I still will get on all fours and play with Kyra, pretending I'm one of the 'pack'. Is that odd?
Nope not odd at all IMO. If I had a dog Im sure I would be doing that. ....Although last time I tried to act like a dog around other dogs it iddnt go too well. They were scared of me, like "What ARE you???"
14.
lol...me and my brother would pretend we were foxes and dogs. We always played that game after watching The Fox and the Hound. When we were dogs we would pour Cocoa Puffs into a bowl and eat them like a dog and when we were foxes we would pretend we were hunting my baby brother.
LOL! That reminds me of something I forgot to mention... I used to hunt down stuffed animals and then I would give myself bologna as meat! I would also pour cereal in a bowl and pretend for it to be dog food.
15.
I wish i could say that rabies was not here in the US I was talking with my hubby and he told me about some organ transplants that were done to about 4 people and 3 died of rabies and one of complactions so none of the people that got the organs from a man that no one knew had contracted rabies and was an organ doner. I was so shocked!
Oh yeah, I heard about that. Scary! :o

20. Thank you Nefiemom! How many times do people have to say it?
21. LOL Shannon! So one minute youre the horse, the next youre the rider  I kinda did something like that, I was switching between being my owner and the dog.
22. Yes, a great article! Hope you can get their permission to use it. Im sure theyd be more than hapy to get the word out though.
23. Good to know a lot of people do this! I was thinking I was really insane... So I wonder if most animal-lovers seemed to be born that way. I mean pretending to be an animal says even in your childhood you loved them. I know a lot of people werent raised that way (and a lot were) but they ended up loving animals. I still think I was born to love dogs and any animal for that matter, any one else feel like that, like your destiny was to be an animal-lover? I know Im weird but I ALWAYS felt that way.
