This is very frusterateing. The only place thats close to me that sells Wysong is 35miles away :o I'm going to be looking into a natural diet soulution..

Well my vet is being a pain. She said she didn't know of any other foods off hand :o I'm so close to changeing my vet.. I'll try to find a place in KC that carries WYSONG. The natural diet thing might be alot better for her.. since she does love chicken, turkey, fish & beef when we eat it..

Sassy has to eat a special diet I get from the vets office, the only thing is she won't eat it. I asked the vet if I could mix some of her old food with it, and she told me no, she needs to eat the Stuff they gave me. I can put everything under the sun on it to try to get her to eat, but she just turns her nose up at it. And she'll sneak what Zeus leaves behind before I can get it picked up.. Is there anything I can feed her with the Hills C/D Dry? I'm afraid she's going to start loseing alot of weight if she doesn't start to eat regularly. She has already droped from 70 to 65lbs. Monday we'll see if she's droped anymore. It's getting frustrateing to have to deal with UTI's every other month, and sometimes more the once a month. We had her bladder x-rayed & her urine clutured & it showed nothing.. I don't know if the vet is stringing me along, and not telling me why she's haveing this problem so offten. I've thought about getting a second opinion.

Zeus thinks the scale is a big scary monster that's going to eat him, so I had to heft all 90lbs of him on the scale by hand.. I don't know why he's so freaked out by them..

So far they haven't been back & we've moved Zeus. He's now in an area of the yard you can only acessed through our house. He;s also been inside at night...

We've been haveing problems with a group of teens in out neighborhood, today while I was at work i got a phone call that someone was seen trying to pry the gate open & get into the yard with Zeus! I'm like run them off & tell them get off the property! Then after I was off work they came back, I ran out there & they took off with a pair of blot cutters, they were trying to open the gate. I know they're wanting to take Zeus. Why else would they be comeing into my yard and keep messing about by the gate. The whole time Zeus is haveing a fit.. I'm so pissed off with people right now..

I kept telling her, hold your dog till I get by, he's dog aggersive. Fell on deaf ears. And I bet you that if Zeus would've left a mark I would've gotten in trouble.. I see the street as a public area, and her dog was in my dogs space. And god love him, he's a good people dog, but I woe the strange dog that come near him when I'm not aware.. He's 91lbs & he could do real damage to another dog.. Oh & this woman's dog didn't even have a collar on with id, rabies & city tags. When I let my dogs out to potty I put their id collars on..

Okay here's the problem. I took Zeus & Sassy both on a walk today. And when I was half way through Zeus's walk, some woman let her very large mixed breed outside, no leash, no fence, just free to run.. I nice asked if she could wait until I'd gotten Zeus by, since he is dog-dog aggressive to dogs he doesn't know.. Well basically the woman said, oh he's friendly and walked into the house.. So here I am holding Zeus back from this so called "friendly" dog. If that dog was friendly, I'd hate to see her idea of an agressive dog!! No matter which way I tried to turn Zeus the dog was still face to face with him.. Snarling & snapping. ANd Zeus was giveing back. Finally the stupid ass came out & got the beast & yelled at me for haveing an agressive dog.. :o :-? I just don't get people.. My dog is on leash, under my control & he's agressive?

Sassy is a snorer, I swear she sounds human at times :lol: It's like stuff a sock in it Sass!

I know why they keep putting me off, and it's seriously ticking me off.. Sassy has aggersion problems towards the vets. And they don't like to see her come in, but tomorrow we're going in at 9 am to get it done. I will request that they leave the muzzle on her while she's going under sedation. then take it off when she's fully out.. I know there has to be other dogs that act agressive towards the vet, so I don't know why we keep getting snubbed

She's still kinda funny. Vet didn't want to stress her today so we wait till friday for the x-rays. She did take her pill in some baby food. But she's still off..

She can't even really keep that down to well. We put her pill in some chicken & rice, she ate it, but 30-40 mins later she's retching again.. Nothing came up, but she isn't herself. Very woriesome, she didn't even bark at the kitties in the yard..

Sassy has had her 7th UTI this year, and the vet wants to finally get x-rays of her.. We had it scheduled before, but she got better so the vet held off for awhile. But yesterday she started vomiting, and just 30 mins she threw up again. So instead of waiting till friday, I'm going to have to get her there tomorrow. I was wondering is their anything I can feed her that she can keep down, and she will be able to take her meds.. I'm worried, she hasn't eaten in 2 days, all day yesterday & all day today..

I have to hide Sassy's in a peice of hamburger, but Zeus will eat them like candy..

Sassy is a major chore to trim, it takes 3 people 2 to holder & one to trim and the whole time she's still fighting. Zeus keeps his short from running outside.

I called the vet this morning about it, and told her about it. She says if she continues to hold it that long over the weekend bring in a urine sample monday for a check. It's strange that after her last bout with a UTI the antibiotics really got to her. When we stopped giveing them is when this all started. It's worry some..

She's only crated at night for everyones infor. From the span of 10pm to around 9am. And even after being in bed all that time she used to get up & want to go out, now she doesn't. I don't keep her locked in a crate 24-7 :o must think I'm cruel if I do that!!

Yes, which she never used to do! Hope this isn't a sign she does have something wrong with her kidneys...

Well this is a strange question I know. Sassy goes out before bed at about 10 pm, goes to her crate, sleeps all night & holds her bladder all night & all day until 6-7pm the next evening. I know this can't be normal. Usally she'd go out right as soon as we got up, now she won't, she doesn't even act like she has to pee until night time..

Debbie, Zeus isn't chained out, he has a choice to come in if he wanted to, but he doesn't like being inside at night.. he gets restless & hot! So he like being outside.. And my grandparents are ones to say a big dog should be outside.. And god knows I can't go against them or I'll pay hell for it :roll:

That's just like Zeus, just sit there & look stupid.. Funny thing is, when it's dry & fairly nice he'll go in, but crappy weather, no he'd rather stand out looking dumb, and driving me nuts :roll:

We used to have a crate for him, and he got a little large for it & the next size up is an arm & a leg :o ANd I'd like to say it's not my idea to leave him out at night, I can't go against my family :x It's frustrateing.

Okay, Zeus stays outside at night.. and he has a large dog house, and a warm shed to get in out of the weather.. Well last night we had a bit of rain, and he usually is quiet and goes into one or the other to get dry. Well not last night, he sat out in the rain & howled.. I have no idea why! He has 2 warm & Dry places to go, yet he still howled all night!! I couldn't bring him in, we don't have a basement or Garage to let him in. He was coated in mud, and he's just so rough with Sassy.. I don't know what to do with him, not sure I can handle another night of howling..
