Well she has it again :-? She's on 600mg of Primor again 3 pills today & 1 1/2 until gone, then another sample needs to be brought in. Wish I could get answers on to why she gets it so much, I'm close to changeing vets for a more straight forward apporach.

We started her on the cranberry pills. She's doesn't like them. LOL she doesn't like anything strange.
-
This gets very frustrateing. She's fine for a few weeks, then she gets it again. Like one big cycle. :-?

Sassy has all the signs of another UTI :-? Constently wanting to go out, and squating & doing very little. ANd her appatite is zero! Even for a nice peice of roast beef. SHe has no intrest.. Back to the vet once again. I really need to find the answers as to why she keeps getting these. I swear this is getting really old, and she can't live on antibiotics her whole life..

Dear dog DL!! That gives me a flipping headache! It's like :o :o :o Must not stare at it, but it's almost hypnotic.

I love a good fart, my whole family is fartastic

Does being able to sneeze, fart & belch all at the same time make me strange?? Gets the air out of all ends I guess

I;ll try to get into contact with the owner of the pups to see if I can get her to turn them over to rescue. I'm going to send an e-mail to MPBR see if they do foster pups that young. I guess If I explain the problems they might. And who's to say they're pure Pit Bull. I'm getting all my info second hand. I guess they know how I'd react. I plan on going to find this person tomorrow, and see how big they are & how well they're being kept. I pray I can help these puppies.
-
Actually my family isn't anti Pit bull at all. But I know the entire conflict with me, Sassy, Zeus & them isn't going to be helped by bring in yet another mouth to feed. But I feel so compled to do something!! I wish I could save them all, and if I had my own place, then I would take them in. Right now I'm haveing major puppy fever moments.. It's like PUPPIES!! I want a puppy  But I have to rember I have 2 adult dogs that depend on me, and at 5 weeks they'd take alot of time away from Sassy & Zeus. I seriously wish they hadn't of told me about them. I adore puppies, and I'm so soft hearted when it comes to ones that really need the help..

Okay I've kept my mouth shut, and I've been thinking alot about this whole thing. But this is really bugging me. DAL, you need to look in the mirror. Thak a long hard look. And see that you need help! To me it sounds alot like Adult ADD. Never sticking to one plan. Seek some medical & mental health care. I know I'm not one to talk about it, but in all seriousness, DAL, I see alot of the attetion seeking behavior that I pulled. Didn't you jump me for the very same thing??

Well we have the Missouri Pit Bull Rescue here in KC. So if I could manage to foster them for a few weeks, then turn them over, they could get at least a better start in life then they have now. This person is not the best owner anyway.

A friend of mine knows someone who has a litter of 5 week old Pit Bull puppies. Well the mother somehow died, and now they need to home them ASAP. Isn't 5 weeks extremely young to be going into a new home? What extra care would they need at such a young age? I'm asking this because their story tugs at my heartstrings in a huge way.. I'm a softy when it comes to puppies, and these little mites sound like they need love.. But I have to factor in Sassy, Zeus & my family.. I wish they wouldn't of told me about them..

Zeus is a tire hound also!! We found an old radial lying on the side of the road, and gave it to him, omg he has it almost torn apart! Time to find a new tire

That's Sassy, she'll see ya comeing then turn & run the other way.. You can get close enough to grab her then she bolts.. It's like please dog come here!!! One time she ran down the middle of one of the busiest street in our area. I thank DOG she wasn't hit & killed. This morning wasn't much better. I'm so fed up with doing this every so offten. Maybe I'm not the right owner for her :(

Once again this morning Sassy found her way out of an open door. It's 7am and I'm trying to catch her. Not very sucessfully, but I finally manged to corner her in fenced in area.. Her recall is gone when she hits the open road so to speak. I don't want to resort to the zap collar, but my god. I'm tired of haveing to track her down when someone isn't paying attetion to where she is when they go out. And the funny thing is, i'm always the one to get her, no one else even offers to help me. I'm at my wits end about this. I don't want to see her get hit by a car, because of someone else not paying attetion.. My Grandpa was suppoused to crate her after he took her out this morning. He left the house, she wasn't crated & out she went.. I swear when I move I'm getting a fully fenced yard!!! Front & back. Because here we only have the fence in the back.. Sometimes I really want to kick her, when actually I should be kicking my family!!!

Well good news it is just a bit of iratation from her ears. She was a good girl today, didn't bark or growl at the vet once. She also had a anal gland check, which wasn't pleasnt!!And she also got her nails done for free. It was a great trip, she even got a jerky for being a good girl for them.. :D
-
Funny thing is she hasn't been digging at them recently. And I just noticed it yesterday. I took her off her ear meds for today. And she is getting a trip to the vet tomorrow just to be safe.. I really hope it is just iratation, and nothing else.
-
Dang it! I'll try to get a decent pic of it if she'll let me. I keep a close eye on her with ticks. She's an indoor dog, so I don't know if she'd get a tick on her inside. Blah, now I'm more worried then I was before..
-
Here's the deal. Sassy has been on ear meds for an ear infection. I was putting her drops in and I noticed she had a patch of hair on the side of her face under her earflap that's red, inflamed, and in a complete circle. Of course it was after normal vet hours, so we rang the emergancy vet, and the tech said it's possiable it's ringworm. I'm wondering if maybe she scratched her self when her ears were bothering her, or a reaction to the ear meds. I tried to get a decent picture of it but she wouldn't sit still.. I guess this means another $100 trip to the vet :-? Anyway to tell if it is just iratation or ringworm?

Yay!!!!! Sassy & Zeusy look so good!! :D

I can send ya a pic of Zeus to use :D & Sassy :D
