No cheese was needed to get her to eat. She decided she was hungrey enough, and she ate it. We with held the canned, and she decided the dry was better then nothing

Victory!!!! She chowed down on dry food tonight, no extra's, no canned, just dry. :) :) :) Little snot, she looked at me & then the food, and just wolfed it down.

I love halloween!! I love givein candy, and makeing the the kids a little bit spooked, this year I chased them around the yard with a toy chainsaw :P 8) I just do it in the spirt of the holiday, I did remove my mask to let a few kids come get candy, but other thought it was a blast being scared :D

She not getting extras, the behaviorist told me that she's trying to get you to dole out the human yummies, instead of the healthy dog food. She's not reciveing any chews, treats or people snacks.

:roll: :roll: Ever since her acident, Sassy won't touch dry dog food unless we dish it out like a treat. She loves canned food, but if we try & put the dry in as well, she walks away like a snot. Any help would be nice, I'm at my wits end

Very well, getting better on 3 legs, still falls now & then. She's still picky about food though, she won't touch dry dog food :-?

I already had to make sure Sassy didn't get into the bathroom today. I ended up moveing the pup downstairs in the finshed basement for the night, so no possiable contact. Becky's going to hate me for this, but it has to be done.

So I don't think it'd be wise to bring another dog home

The Pup goes back first thing in the morning. it has to be done, Sassy is under enough stress.

I've told her no, we don't need the hassle right now, Sassy has been through enough, and we still don't have her dog agression issue settled yet. She gave me the # to the breeder, I'm going to be calling here in a few minutes. We sat down yesterday & talked about it, and I made it really clear I didn't want another dog right now. We have to iron out some thing between us, I just can't believe she went against my wishes to do this :( 3ofakind, Becky is my life partner of 6 yrs. She means the world to me, but right now I'm pissed off :x

Becky went agaisnt my wishes, and brought home a pembroke welsh corgi puppy :o So I'm not at all happy with her right now. The new pup is being kept in the bathroom, while Sassy has the whole house. This really isn't what I wanted right now, what do I do???? :-? :-? :-?

She doing wonderfull this morning, she ate some of her food, and hobbled about the house, If you could see the Pei smile she's got right now, you'd know how happy I am to have my girl back. New pics of her comeing soon as I get me a new camera. She's still as bossy & snobby as before, but she has lost her agressive edge a bit. Once she's all better we start back in training.

Sassy slept alot today, but she ate a little bit of roast beef & swiss cheese off my sandwich. She actually decided to bark at the cat outside and the squirells in the tree. And she stood for the first time when I took her out to potty :angel: :angel: She's my baby and I think she's going to pull through :D :D :D

I don't have words to tell you how much all of your support means to me. I just wish she'd start to pull through. I brought her her favortie food, po-tarts, and she ate a few bites. She's comeing home tomorrow for the weekend, she has to go back Monday if she doesn't show signs of improvement :(

She's really unhappy, she even seems depressed :( She won't even respond to me when i go & vist her. Her Pei spark she has is going out way to fast. I can't bare the thought of loseing her at such a young age. :cry: :cry:

I can only speak from my problems with Sassy, she tends to not like other dogs, she'll get agressive at times, but it depends on the sex of the dog. Females, she'll try to attack, but males, she's fine & dandy with. This is just my exsperince with a dog aggerssion problem

I had someone ask me if Sassy was a pit :roll: Pei's aren't seen a whole lot really. And if someone see's you with one, they ask all sorts of questions. I had someone ask me if she was mad, cause of the pei' scowl :lol: :lol:

She's not even responding to me very well, :( But she did eat a small amout of A/d from the vet. I've trying to give her her pig ear strips, but she just turns her head around away from me. :( :( I'll keep trying

Well Sassy isn't much better. She won't stand up, and her other hind leg is starting to swell :( Looks like they might have to go in & release some persure. And she hasn't eaten at all, and she's lost a bit of weight, which has me worried. They try to force feed her, but she fights so much they give up, so they have her hooked to an iv drip for some calories. I swear she's going to drive me crazy if she doesn't start showing some sign that she can walk. :( :drinking:

Just a quick update on Sassy. She's doing much better today, she decided she didn't like anyone messing with her at the vets office, so she's turned very uncivil towards everyone there, so they have to muzzle her when then examine her :roll: :roll: She's showing why she got her name :lol: I go for a vist later today, be my first time seeing her without a leg, but alive.
