ok.. There as a story here some time ago. Someone lost their dog, and someone found it. They seens the signs of the dog, but didn't give it back. They decided to keep the dog, even though they knew who the owner was. Which do you think is right? To satisfy you want for the dog, or return her to her family?

Oh no no no! People hair products don't have what the dog needs. I can't explain it, but it's a bad idea..

You all know that I just lost 2 kittens.. And my Pom, Foxy... Well my grandma just called me, and said that Foxys daughter, Cookie, is in surgery right now... They said if she doesn't have surgery, she'll die. And they said the chances of her making it through the surgery is slim.. I can't take another pet death now.. 4 in 2 weeks is just to much for me.. Please pray for her.. I can't stand another death.. I really.. can't... I should know by the end of the day..

Well, I'm personally against hair dying. I'm rather strict in these areas. But if other people want to do it, it's their decision. My child wouldn't have permission to do anything exotic til s/he would escape from my grip :evilbat:

I've been avoiding this topic for a bit... But I am beginning to think that you guys are doing a lot of 'asuming'. I didn't see Lolita4Life being called immature. What everyone is saying that the person on the show said that Poodles were bred to be 'designed'. They are not bred to be decorated like a christmas tree, that's just what people like to do. The hair-dye I believe was human hair-dye, and since you are out-numbered in people who believe that, I suggest you back off. They wouldn't say its NOT human unless they actually seen it on store shelves for humans, or have used it themselves. We have nothing against dying poodles hair pink. We just have something against using something that isn't meant for dogs. We 'respect' your opinions, whether you believe it or not. We only tell you otherwise when we believe you are wrong, and would love for you to listen to us. If you don't believe us, do some research before argueing back. Oh, and of COURSE a TV show wouldn't admit to using something not intended for an animal, it's bad for THEIR business.

my grandpas dog died the day before Pearl did.. I grew up with my grandparents, so I also grew up with that dog.. She was such a sweet Pom... :( Lived 14+ years.. I don't remember her NOT being around..

*cries* my little kittens.. Don't feel so bad, I just lost 2 kittens this week.. And a dog... Join the board and we can all be friends..! I am terrible sorry for your loss. It's like losing a family member...

I posted a Poem in Sticky in honor of my kitties. Didn't know I was a lil poet, did ya? I've written over 100+ poems.. Haven't written in months though.. Pearl got me inspired..

We were born blind, My brother and I. Then our mother had left us, Left us to die. A human had found us, And took us inside. Although we were weak, We still tried to survive. The human made some phone calls, But all shelters were full. Finally she called a friend, Who knew a person with a kind soul. We were in a car ride, For over an hour. I could hear the talking, Of love and its power. The young girl took us in, With her whole heart. She bottle fed us, And thought we'd never part. Two days had passed, And my brother had died. He was to weak, But I still had to try. I lost my appetite, I really miss you, my brother. So the young human girl tried to find me a mother. A week later, I was losing my faith. The vet had tried hard, To determine my fate. That day I remember, I was supposed to get a mother. But the person wasn't in, So for a day I had to suffer. The very next day, When I was supposed to get a family. I was already gone, With my brother for eternity. I was only 10 days old, And hardly even ate. My eyes had opened, That day of my fate. I want you to know, You tried your best. I know you'll love me, As I lay down to rest. I do not blame you, For you only showed me love. I shall watch over you, From my place up above. *hugs* i know exactly how you feel. I was attached to my Aunts cat, she lived next door. I'm not fond of my Aunt tho :roll: . She went and bought a new trailer, and had the old one removed.. and when she got the new one, she noticed her cat was missing. Wonder where she went.. :roll: She didn't even go and look for her. Mean Aunt.. :evil:

As many of you know, I've been taking care of a 10 day old kitten that we just named yesterday, Pearl. I had just found out that she has died.. We were supposed to get a mommy-cat for her today, but it was to late... Why is everything happening to me? 3 deaths in one week (Blackie, Foxy and now Pearl) and I've been ignored by my fiance for 3 weeks. My trip to Kings Island was a disaster Sunday... Nothings going right! I need to get refills on my meds, pay off my schooling and now bury my kitten tomorrow. It isn't fair... *cries* I also got to doggie-sit my fiances friends dog today for around a week.... Why.. Why me???

Ok, ever since I got here I've been hearing about BARF and RAW. What exactly are they? Homemade doggie foods?

My grandpa's Pomeranian died today. Foxy lived to be around 12+ years old. Not sure when she was born. I grew up with my grandparents, so I grew up with that dog. She was a sweetie. My poor grandpa is taking it really hard. He is going to hav her cremated(sp?) and keep her in the china-closet. We knew she wasn't doing well and I seen her when I went and buried Blackie last week, she looked horrible. Now her daughter is going ill, we hope that Cookie(daughter) will do well. Cookie is around 10 years old. All of my grandparents dogs are 10+ except one who is 3 years old. So they will have it hard for a while..

That is great news for the puppy! I'm sorry you didn't get it, but at least puppy gets its 2nd chance! Keep looking, there is plenty of homeless doggies out there, sadly.. There will be one who will love you forever for fostering it
