If I'm corrent, Frontline kills fleas & ticks within 24 hours of the application.. BUT (to my surprise) Adult fleas only go on dogs to FEED. The young fleas and eggs are in your carpet and other places such as that. My vet has said vacuuming doesn't do much, but it does help. It's either Frontline or Advantage that kills both fleas, larva and eggs.. can't remember which though. I vote frontline though.. I don't know any natural remedies for fleas.. The others may help on that! The only advice I can give is to use a 'regular' dog shampoo and comb them with a flea comb thoroughly. IF you have cats, they'll need treated to.. Unfortintly, I believe digested fleas is what causes heartworm(or some type of worm) so you should get them tested for that and then get them on heartworm preventative - unless they're already on it, then don't worry. My two rescue kitties are allergic to fleas.. And same with my kitty Oreo! I didn't think they had fleas until the vet said that's what was causing their sores and rough fur on their bums.. and Clydes GREAT loss of hair. I never seen a single flea! But since 'all' of them are on flea meds (4 cats, 1 puppy, not the 2 ferrets tho..) Their fur is a lot softer and the scabs are all gone! (we used advantage on the cats, frontline on the puppy)

I'm really lost :-? I've had deaf and blind dogs and know they can be happy and live normal lives so I'm a bit confused. Hell, I'm even offering to take a deaf kitten if my puppies breeder can't keep her when she moves.. What did I MISS? DAL COME BACK! *grabs your tail and doesn't let go*

My thoughts on this is :: I hope they don't kill the tiger for this incident :( I believe that since Roy was into breeding wild animals, he knew their was a high chance of him getting hurt. I think Roy might have (or SHOULD have) prepared himself for an incident such as this. Tigers are wild animals, it takes hundreds of years to domesticate an animal, not one humans lifetime. We still can't completely control dogs insticts as wolves. "If it moves, its dinner!" I think once Roy is healed(I hope he does ok) that he won't see his tigers any differently. He'll have a little fear, but I hope he sees it as a reminder that tigers ARE wild animals after all. And one man can 'start' to make a difference, but he can't do it alone. I, however, disagree with using the tigers as entertainment to people.. But that's just me. Personally, I LOVE tigers. Especially white tigers. To Roy: Don't stop loving Tigers!!

YAY! Your such an :angel: how dare those people do that to a poor kitty :evil: *shakes a finger at you* and wheres the pictures?? I want to see the cute kitty! You're probably going to have to give him a kitty bath. Have the vet check him for FIV and feline lukemia.. Also for heartworms. ALSO have the vet trim his nails so you can bathe him easier lol. And flea control, your best friend! Did I miss anything? :oops:
