She stays with me the whole time I'm at home, she doesn't attempt to leave. the problem with me calling her is, now when I call her back in the room, she gets petted to tell her she was good for coming back. But afterwards, she darts back out of the room! This only happens when fiance is home... She runs around like something was after her and plays with the cats, run up and down the stairs... I do want to crate train, but I don't want her crated when someone is home.. Until we get that crate fixed, its a problem right now. The my fiance didn't come home for lunch, so she was in there around 6 hours without being let out! So that is also discouraging me from that. She gets let outside every 3 hours.. She used to have the habbit of urinating 'before' we open the door.. i mean RIGHT before! Then she had the habbit of going as soon as we let her back in. I'm glad that phase is over phew.. She doesn't like rain, so she won't go outside when it rains :roll: We usse a shampooer to get up her smells and a scent-remover whenever she goes.. But it's kind of hard when you have 2 un-litter trained ferrets (that she loves to chase, but cant catch)

No, I hadn't really crate training since someone was home all day.. But now I'm gone cause of college now, I've been putting her in the crate now. She hates it though! She loves playing in it, as long as the door isn't where she can push it open. Now she's ben the bar thing to where I CANT close it! Smart puppy... She goes in the same spots through-out the house.. We have a puppy pad on the most used spot, but that just made her pick a new one... After I let her out of her crate, she goes for a nice walk (or run...) but she still hasn't pooed outside during this period. We don't really catch her in the act.. She's sneaky. If we're upstairs, she'll go downstairs and vice versa... :o So now fiance makes me call her everytime she even leaves the room ... Now she won't even come when I call her! It's hectic

My puppy has gotten the urinating outside part almost complete... But she NEVER poops outside! Anyone have advice or ideas?

I don't want to burst your bubble.. But make sure you put a found flyer out there.. That could be someone elses puppy :( she is absolutely cute though! what are you going to call her?

is it tiny little bites that can be swallowed whole? I got the cats wellness and it really small. I want them to eat something that helps clean their teeth

Funny you mention this and RnP gets her doggie with the cute patched ear dog-napped :( If ONLY there was a ransom note! You could drop off the money, and have a under-cover police officer watch the spot.

That really angers me.. Sounds a lot like my hometown humane society.. They put sick animals to sleep instead of seeking medical attention.. So they are a high-kill shelter. My sisters dog was luckily enough for my sis to fall in love with her. Someone needs to give your humane society a reality check! :evil:

If there is any chance that the tail is broken, take it her to the vet... Not to scare ya, but I had a cat come home without a tail! Test to see if she can feel the tip of her tail by pinching it. It is also possible that she didn't break it, but can't feel most of it.

Oh that is so horrible! And the idea that she could be in a fighting ring kills me! Along with the flyers, vets, shelters, - be sure to do them in the city where they said the fights will be held. Might scare the kidnappers ;) You'll be in my thoughts!

I waited for my puppy even before the bitch was pregnant :o was that a little to long? I got the pick of two litters too :angel: Anyway, I didn't ask to see a pedigree - silly me. Now Amaya has only 1 champion in her whole line! So my idea of breeding/showing her dropped. But she'll make a good pet. And I still plan on getting her an Obedience title if she isn't show quality. (her bite doesn't look right so far... we'll see for more flaws as she's older)

I don't think there is a clear answer for your question..All dogs are different. Some dogs will have 1, and others can have 10!

Make sure your dog knows that kitty isn't a toy... and kitten knows that dog biting on it isn't a good thing... I'm having a problem keeping my puppy to stop chewing on my kitten! Then, my puppy won't go near any of my other cats - because their big and defend themselves. AND my kitten showed a grown dog whos boss ... It can go in a big complicated circle!

Ive had several dogs die - not mine. But a family dog that I had growing up just recently died... Along with her son (in family but havent seen since it was a pup - 10yrs ago)
