1. Your mom and Cleo is in my prayers. You are a great lady. And care a lot. :D
2. Rowie- I'm not sure? I will have to ask around and see. And of course my hubby won't let me foster him, Or I would in a heart beat. He does not need to be there in that heat and humidity. I feel so bad for him. :(
3. I am so happy to hear he is feeling better. :D So do you have any idea to what might have bit or stung him? :( I know when Nostalgia was a little pup, I was giving her a bath outside with some new dog shampoo. Not to long afterwards her whole face swelled up like a balloon. :o You could not see her eyes and she could not breather very well. All she wanted to do was sleep. I was crying and freeking out! I thought it was the shampoo. I called a vet and they told me to just give her some tyanol, and if the swelling does not go down in a couple of hours then to bring her in. Well I gave her some of my Antibiotix, and her whole face was like new again in an hour. I was so afraid to us the soap again, but i had to know if that was, what caused it. And it wasin't. :D So it must have be a ant or some kind of bug that bit her while we were outside. :-? But we have never had that problem after that one time, Thank goodness. :D
4. OMG! :o Looking at all the things your dogs have gone through, Makes me feel so blessed. I don't know why she has never chewed anything? And I would leave my shoes and other things laying around and she would never go after them as a pup. :o I feel like my dog and I are an odd-ball now. :-? Has anyone ever had a pup like mine that was such a good pup, that they never chewed on anything but their own toys? I feel so strongly that my black lab that passed away is now reincarnated into Nostalgia. How else can I explain why she is soooooo good.
5. It's not very common here in Missouri. But I don't know about other states. I know that they have several rescues here for pure breeds. But I don't think they have a rescue here for Malumutes. :( And that poor guy is in a hot and humid shelter right now. I know that because I volenteered there, and they have no air conditioning. :( Poor guy has got to be soooooo hot with that heavy coat. :(
6. Believe it or not, Nostalgia has not destroyed one thing but her toys. (which her toys are fine to destroy) I am so very lucky to have not ever had that problem with Nostalgia. :D
7. This poor guy has no home. :( He is such a handsome boy. I hope someone will adopt a 8 year old. I'm affraid that since he is 8, that no one will want him. :( Alaskan Malamute Size: Large Age: Senior Sex: Male I.D: 109476 Notes: Duke is a gorgeous purebred Alaskan Malamute. He is eight years old and is used to being indoors. He will need to be neutered when he is adopted. He was put up for adoption on 6/30. 8. That is such great news! :D What a great welcoming home gift from your two girls. :D
9. Oh. that is sooooo sad. Rest in peace poor Angel. We are all thinking of you here at dogo. :(
10. Oh, that is just to sad.     How can people be so cruel? And there was even a dog on there, where children played in the back yard where the dog was slowly dieing from being tied up with no food or water. :( Makes me wonder how they treated their children? :(
11. I am sooooooo sorry that we we're not around. :( How is he doing? Maybe he got bit by some ants or misquitos. Has he been outside before the bumps showed up? I wish I had some advice for you, Hopefully someone else might have some good advice for you. Good luck and let me know how things go.
12. I am sooooo sorry about daisy. I hope it's nothing serious. :( Please give daisy lots of loves and kisses for me. :buzi:

15. Oh, that poor baby. :( That kind of stuff sickens me! I would like to drag her across the road.
16. Well, we went to the vet this morning to get her heartwormed checked. Everything is fine, And it came out negitive. :D I had to put a muzel on her because of the other mishap at the other vets when she snaped at them when they tried giving her, her shots. But she did great this time around! :D She whined alittle because her skin was to tuff to get through, so they had to poke her a few times for the blood work. I felt like I was going to cry when she looked at me like, "Mommy why are you letting them hurt me?"   But I gave her lots of loves and kisses and let her know how good she was. :buzi: They we're all out of heartgaurd so I got Interceptor for $2 dollars more. Which is fine because this Interceptor is good for roundworms and whipworms also. But everything went great and Nostalgia just got her first dose. She ate it right up with no hesitation what so ever. I feel so much better about letting my baby-dog outside to play now. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
17. That is the cutiest thing i ever did see. Must have been a lot of hard work and talent. :D The dog sure loves it.
18. I am so glad that Maxs condition was not as bad as you thought. Thats a big sigh of relief. Poor Max, Those pictures just break my heart. I hope he is on a great recovery, and give him some extra love and kisses for me. :buzi:
19. When I use to breed and raise Shih Tzus. I would always have a problem with trainning my Shih Tzus. Shih Tzu seem very had to potty train, you have to work extra hard then normal. Smaller breeds have a smaller blader, so they can't hold it in as long as a larger breed. I've talked with other peolpe that has owned Shih Tzus, and they seemed to have as just as a hard time potty training as i did. But if you are very consistant and do a lot of what was said above, i'm sure you will be rewarded in the long run. Good luck! :D
20. As far as the yeast infection goes in the ears. That is quit common for Shih Tzus that do not get their ears cleaned out of hair regularly. You must make sure that the inner ear canal is clear of all hair. Shih Tzus grow hair in their ears that can easily be plucked out with a pair of twezers. If you do not feel comfortable about plucking yourself, you can always take him to a groomer to get it done. It does not hurt them, they are just lose hairs that must be plucked out. Plucking the hairs out regularly will cut down on the yeast infections on the ears. The breeder should have told you about some of those things, I would be kind skeptical of this breeder if she/he was acting the way she/he did. I would also try a different vet and get another opinion.
21. Thanks for the update. He sounds so cute. :D
22. Nostalgia is the same way. She will jump in my lap and start licking my face, and put her head on my shoulder.
23. Great news about Max. :D I am so glad that he is feeling a lot better.
24. I'm sorry you don't get to watch the pup. :( But i am very happy that the pup found a great home already! :D
