1. He is note an animal lover at all. But we have been together for 11 years, and married 5 1/2 years. He is great with me and the children. He knows how much I love Nostalgia, so of course he puts up with her. I do have to beg him to let her go on car rides with us. :( But lately he has helped pay for the heartworm meds. So he is coming around alittle. :D He has not layed a hand on her since we have been back together. He loves me a lot, so he has to love my dog. But thank you so much for your concern sanvean, you are a sweetie.
2. Such cute little cartoons. :D

7. Thanks for your help Courtnek. My husband has never really disciplined her. There was a couple of times, when she was a pup and we were starting to get back together. He would come over and Nostalgia would bite on his feet. So he would just haul off and hit her or kick her. I got so mad at him, and told him if he ever layed a hand or foot on my dog again, that would be the last of him. So ever since then he has never layed one single hand or foot on Nostalgia. He would yell "no" at her every once in awhile, but never anything else. I am the only one that has ever given Nostalgia the love, effection, effort, time, and happiness that she deserves. But I don't know how she was ever treated when left with my husband or my mom alone. I have always felt that something happend when she was a pup, when I left her alone with my mom one day while I went to work.(My mom lived with me at my house) My mom had some friends over(most of her friends I don't like) that day. When I got home..........well she just acted a little funny. She has not been so out going ever since. What I mean by that is, she hides in fear if someone raises their voice just alittle. And this is a dog that I have never raised a voice to and of course has never had a hand raised to. :( I just wish I knew what happend. :( Well, i'm not going to get in to this, because every time I think about it.......Well it just makes me sooooo dog-gone-MAD!!!!   I really had it out with my mom and all her friends that day. That is one of the reasons why I moved away from arizona and my mom. Sorry for the long story.........like you guys really wanted to hear this.
8. Oh, No! Never, ever would she go to a shelter! :( She is my special baby-dog. :D I love her so much, she is my fourth child.(since I have three) That would be like dumping my children somewhere because I had a problem with them. :( I will do anything for my baby-dog and my children.......ANYTHING! :D
9. You have got a very pretty kitty to. :D
10. Pretty pups! :D I would love to see pictures of your kitty. I use to have a black Manx, but she got chewed up by two golden retrivers. I would love to get another Manx someday, They are just like dogs. They love to fetch, and can learn tricks. :o :D
11. Thanks for the info. I will start trying some of the things you told me. Half of the thing I already do, Now I just need to do the other half. :D
12. Thanks pup1, that would be great. :D Here is my e-mail address: boddyman001@yahoo.com
13. It not the touching the head thing that bothers her. She loves to wrestle with the kids and play toug-of-war. But it's just when my son gets in her face and starts rubbing hes face in hers. Now with strangers, they will be petting her and if they lean in to close to her face, she will grawel while wagging her tail. Like they are invading her personal space. I do realize that dogs need their own personal space, just as much as we do. I sure would hate to have someone all up in my face. :-? She is sure a weird pup. :-? I just wonder if this is all right or is she going to far, by graweling?
14.
Well Angel, it could be a few things. How old is your pupster? Also, are you the main person giving training, food, care, etc to Nostalgia? Also, are you stepping in to correct the dog when she does this? If so, you can inadvertently reinforce her view that all others in the home are subordinates to her. For instance, if she "warns" your husband, what does HE do in response? BTW, I have heard of other dogs doing this same behavior, so don't think yours is a fruitcake or anything! :)
Thanks pupster. :D Nostalgia is 2 years old. And yes I am the only one taking care of her. When my husband and I were seperated, is when I got Nostalgia. So it was just her and I for almost 6 months. :D Anyone can tell that she is my baby-dog, just by the way she acts towards me. And when I see her do this, I do reinforce her and tell her "No" in a deep voice and tell her to "Be good." Now with my hubby................ She is not to fond of males, but she just puts up with mine. And my husband just puts up with her.(He has to.) When she does grawal at him, He yells at the top of his lungs at her and tells her "bad dog", Which I do not agree with at all. But he will not listen to me. I truely believe in giving my dog positive reinforcment. Instend of telling her "bad", I tell her to "be good." Which works wonders for her. :D I figure if my hubby won't listen to me, then Nostalgia and him can just battle it out them selfs. I tried, I really did. :niewiem:
15. That is such great news Pup1. :D Keep up the great work. It really sounded like your little pupster really enjoyed it. :D
16. Just anyone in general. Includeing my hubby and children. She does not snap at them or anything, Just gives alittle warning and walks off. :-?
17. Why is it that Nostalgia will muzzle me in my face and will let me kiss her on her face. And also let me get up in her face. But when anyone else gets even remotely close to her face, she grwals at them and walks away? Is this some kind of dominats thing? Or is this just natural?
18. I'm sorry, but your beautiful pup does not even look like a lab. I don't see how they can get a lab out of that pretty gray coat that she has. She is a very good looking weimaraner, Don't let it bother you. :D
19. Thanks Sanvean. They are very stunning dogs. :D But it's not just the stunning part that cought my eye, I have done a lot of research on them and I feel a weimaraner would make a great addition to our home and familys life style. Plus it would make a great friend for my baby-dog Nostalgia.
20.

She came from a very good breeder, and since she is going to breed her, she cost just alittle more.
I hate to be a spoilsport, but most reputable breeders won't give sell a pup with an open registration. Has your friend bred dogs before?
Yes she has breed weimaraners in the past. She had to give it up when she married her husband. Long story  But her husband has past away now and after many years of not having her babys, she is able to have them again. :D I am so happy for her, Because weimaraners have been her life long passion. :D
21. Thanks you guys! :D I am so excited! I know it's a long ways away, but at least I can watch her little one grow to the day that she will breed her. She is going to bring her pup by saturday, so I can see her and play with her. :D I had my hopes set on a gray or blue weimaraner, but they are a very hard color (let alone breed) to fine here. When she told me she was going to give me the runt, I was so excite. That it did not even come across to asking why she was going to give me the runt. :-? Is there reason why? Are they not wort as much if they are a runt? I was just curious. It does not really even matter to me........... Because I will finelly being getting my weimaraner that I have been wanting for years. To bad I have to wait a few more. :( But it will be way worth it in the end, I just know it! :D
22. I was crusin the petsmart website and I came across this really cute pet locker to store all your pets things. I've gotta get me one! :D http://www.petsmart.com/dog/shopping/storage%5F%5F%5Fscoops/products/product%5F22194.shtml It comes in two different wood colors too! :D
23. Well a very close friend of mine got her pup today! After a lot of searching, several deposits, and some traveling, she found her baby! She has not yet named her, but she is 8 weeks old and is tan. She came from a very good breeder, and since she is going to breed her, she cost just alittle more. She has decided to breed her in 18 to 24 months....... IF everything goes well and she has a clean bill of health. But here is the good part................ If she is breed, my friend said that she will give me the runt of the litter! :D I know it's not a for sure thing yet, and I should not get my hopes up, But I just can't help it. :D I just had to tell you guys! :D
24. I take Nostalgia trick-O-treating with use every year. She dresses up as a devil. But when we go to each door with my children, Nostalgia gets the, "awwww how cute" looks. Then they try to find something to give her. So by the time we get home, she has had a very big snack! :o :D
25. Yeah for Dresden! :banan:
