1. Only 6 more days... Thats nothing! :) But it can seem like such an eternity when you have something as cute and wonderful as Montie to look forward to! :)
2.
3. Oh, and you should get the male neutered right away too. :)
4. I hardly know anything about this at all.... But it seems like you should be able to touch the puppys anytime. And I don't think the male would eat the puppies either.... But I don't know.
5. Thats terrible! Those goddamn assholes!
6. Those are funny!
7. I've known several dogs that have died, but none of them were mine, they were my aunts. But they were still family! And no matter how much time goes by I'll still miss them and never ever forgett them.
8. If I saw a pit bull I'd happy to see one, since I have yet to see a real live one. I wouldn't go up to it, because I don't go up to strange dogs unless they act real eager to see me, but if it came to me, then I wouldn't treat it different from any other dog. Actually I'm less at ease with small dogs than big. I think its because the one time I've been "attacked" (it wasn't really an attack, but, well... sort of) was by a pekingese in one of the pet shops here thats really terrible. The people that have the store have these two pekes that are mean tempered. A few years ago I bent down and put my hand out to say hi the dog started barking madly and rushed at me. And then the person behind the counter told me that "you should always ask before you pet a dog!" :x I wasn't petting it, just saying hi! And anyway, if you have two dogs in a pet store, I expect them to be friendly, not agressive! I guess I've kind of gotten off the subject now... But I do feel more comfortable with big dogs.
9. Thanks for your help! :D I'm going to print this out and show my mom...
10. Thanks for your help DogPaddle and Kat! :) How about a puppy, but one thats a little older, like say 4-7 months or so? Would that be easier to leave alone? How long would someone have to come home in the day? If its an older puppy, do you still get the advantages of a puppy, or not? Does having a crate make housebreaking alot easier? What are some of the differences with raising a puppy/dog now and about 40 years ago? Sorry for all the questions...
11. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! He is so cute! :D
12. If a family consisting of a mom, teenage daughter, son at college who wasn't home much, 2 guinea pigs, and varrious other small creatures wanted a dog, would it be possible? The family lived in a smallish appartment (living room, kithchen+dining room, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and toilet, and hall), but the appartment was located across the road from a small woods and fields. The mother and daughter both had to be away in the daytime, for about 6 hours. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a few hours less. But they were both (especially the daughter) willing to work hard at training the puppy, and take it to obedience lessons. Would it be possible for the family to get a puppy, and have it be happy, obedient, well adjusted, and become potty trained? And with potty trained I mean not doing things inside, but out. I can't think of the real word for it. :-?
13. GOOD LUCK!!!! :D
14. I signed up... but it would go back to the start page whenever I tried to push the key to delete letters.. so it ended up that everything ended with type here...
15. Don't you have to go through all the quarantine hassles too?
16.
i agree .... my mom always said -- "there are two kinds of people in the world .... dog people and the rest ..."
I like that quote! I'm proud to be one of the DOG people! :) Most of my friends are animal people too. I tend to like/trust them alot more than others. Thats not always, of course, I have a few friends who just aren't perticurally interested in animals, but they always pet my pigs and mice (if they aren't scared of them. How can you be scared of a little pet mouse??!) But last week when my science teacher was saying how some sickos at her old job put a mouse in the microwave and it exploded, the people who I don't like in my class are the ones that laughed. All of the people in my family, and my grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncle, cousins etc. are animal people. Its wierd. I wonder if its something you inherit? :-?
17. Bubbles eyes are so expresionful! She reminds me a bit of Tahoe.. And The brown dog looks adorable too! Good luck! :D

20. Thats great! :D :D :bday:
21. Thats awful... :( Poor Zebra. Good luck! :)
22. I know for sure who I'm going to do now. Someone here in the town I live in (who actually goes to the same school as me too) got a golden retreiver puppy 2 years ago. That puppydog was very much loved and cared for. But it (not sure if its a he or she) has that disease where you can't stop bleeding. I thnk it starts with "M". And its gotten so bad that the poor dog needs to be put to sleep. And the most terrible thing is that the "breeder" keeps breeding these puppys who have that disease! I'm not sure about the number, but ALOT of innocent dogs have had to be put to sleep because this -I guess I'm not allowed to swear here, but I'm thinking of the nastiest words I can - wants to make money I guess! :x  So I'm doing that dog. That person is the black smiley face:  :evilbat: :chainsaw1:
23. I'd like to do Sally, a dog who lives in Spain. She was found near a mall, where kids were "entertaining" themselves by throwing rocks and stones at her. She lives at an dog rescue place now called SOS (Spay Our Strays). She doesn't trust anyone, except for teh person who runs the shelter. But I'll keep looking too. I don't know that much about Sally, so it might be better to choose another dog. I don't know.
24. Thats a great idea! :) I'd like to do the candle part, but if I don't eat then I faint (and whenever I faint I hit my head, and either do or almost do get a concossion) and thats not so good. And I have to go to school too... But I'd like to do the candle part.
