1. Thats awful! I'm very sorry. :(
2.
I'm 14 also but i know dogs better than most grown-ups! And I'm also TOO YOUNG to have a dog?!?! That's the age discrimination!

My point is that at 14 most kids are not financially secure enough to adequately care for a dog unless the parents are going to provide monetary support. That is why I asked how supportive Wolfy's parents are. It makes a big difference. What if the dog gets sick? What if he/she has a chronic disease that requires ongoing treatment? Dogs need shots every year, a license that also costs money, and food. It is pretty hard to find a job at 14 and in reality he/she shouldn't be focusing on that anyway.
At 14 there are also only like 4-5 years untill college... and what is going to happen to the dog then if you don't have your parents support? But thinking someone knows how to take care of a dog at that age just because of that age is WRONG!!!
3. That guy must have been crazy! :x Seems like all PETA people are. I don't see how they can think that they "help" animals, or anything!
4. I think huskies, malamutes, samoyeds, flatties (of course, can't beat those brown eyes!), tervurens (sp?), Border Collies and australian shephards are the prettiest. Most of them are my favorites not just for looks to. :)
5. I have this laughing problem with everything he does! :o I think jumping up to greet me is so adorable, so I laugh. He hasn't gotten much better at not jumping. Now I know why! But I think I've come to the conclusion that if I want MY dog to greet ME that way, then THAT is the way its going to be. And I can teach him a good "sit" so he can sit when others want to pet him. Most people I spend time around don't mind muddy paw prints on them though, luckily! :) I don't think its possible to tire (sp?) him out before we train heel... This puppy won't tiere! At least not on walks. He'll just keep going, keep running, bouncing, whatever. Then when we get home he curls up at my feet and falls into an exhauseted sleep!
6. Animals are amazing! :)
7. What dog breed do you think looks the nicest? Not the temperament or anything, just looks. (Superficial, yes, but still!)
8. That was really helpful! Thanks! :) I'm going to try some of those things, like the tape. :)
9. Thats great!!! :D :D
10. I clicked too. So far there have been 2578 clicks today! :)
11. I'll do that! :) He is very good at kisses, but he does use his little teeth somtimes too!
12. He is now Webster! :D My brother wouldn't let me name him Jet :( , because for some reason it made him think of Jasper, who was a beagle my aunt babysat one summer, and my brother didn't like him that much. I'm thinking that perhaps Jet can be Webster's nickname maybe... Then my brother'll be happy, and Web'll have the most popular choice for an "onofficial" name! Or as a middle name maybe.. I need to decide those now too! :)
13.
Thanks Jen! :) :) Kat, I've narrowed it down to 6 possibilities for his name now! So by tonight he will have a REAL name, and not just be called puppy. :)
If you want to vote for one of the 6 names you can here: http://forum2.dogomania.com/viewtopic.php?t=9603&postdays=0&postorder=asc&vote=viewresult&sid=32fc43c8484b1b268648d585ddf021e2 :) Its easier to choose a few and then let others do the final choosing than doing it myself  It would take to long! Its allready taken me... 5 days to choose theses 6...
14. Well I've narrowed it down to 6 possibilities... I like them all, and somehow they all fit him. What do you think I should name my pup? I'll explain why I like the 6 selected: Jet (thanks to Behle for the suggestion  ): He IS jet black, and airplanes are jets, and I like flying. He is later on going to be an agility dog, so he'll be "flying" over things. Webster: I like the sound of it! Websters is a dictionary, adn Puppy is very very smart. A character in a tv show I like is called Web. Puppy is like a spider, capturing everyones heart in his web!  Pierre: The capital of South Dakota, one of my favorite states. When we drove through I loved the city, and have some good memories from there. Also the name of one of my favorite airplane captains, who kept us passengers informed about everything and stuff. Lodi: A song I like is about a place called Lodi, its a city somewhere. I like the sound of it. Tahlequah: the name of a city in Oklahoma. I just like the sound of it. :) Chesapeake: the Chesapeake bay. During the summers I spend time around that area some, I like the sound of it. :)
15. Maybe he's worried about you? I don't know...
16. I'll start that tomorrow! :) Is it better to be where he can't hear me, or where he can hear me? I WISH I could get him a playmate! :( Not another dog, yet, because having one puppy is quite a handful! But a little kitten that would be his friend... My aunts puppy Leah and the cat G.W. are the best of friends, and it is so cute! :D Anyway, having a both a dog AND a cat isn't that much more work than having just a dog, is it? :P Somehow I don't think my mom would agree...
17. How should I do so Puppy doesn't get seperation anxiety? He ALWAYS wants to be with me, and if I'm at the computer he'll lie down here. If I move to the sofa, he'll move closer to there. In my bed he'll snuggle up as close as possible. (I'm going to have to brush his teeth reguarly, I think! :o ) When I go into the kitchen where he isn't allowed yet because his huge bag of puppy chow hasn't been moved yet, he stands at the door and whines. I wait until he quiets down before I go out again, and it has gotten better. Yesterday I went to the store, which maybe took 20 minutes. My mom said that he did calm down after a bit, but was "heartbroken". When I came back he was overjoyed. I love having him with me all the time, but he does NOT like being alone, and I NEED him to be able to be alone for a while. I'm worried he'll get seperation anxiety, and that would not be good. What should I do? Is there any reason to worry or is it just that he misses his momma and sister and needs to feel secure and loved right now?
18. I couldn't log in for a while either... I can now, but every page I have to click away a little irritating thingy.
19. Thanks K, Shara and Horsefeathers! :D A few pictures are in the picture forum now, and I'll add more later. Hes a very picturesque puppy! :) I'm glad those drunks didn't hurt Coal. No one seems to be able to resist a puppy! And the ones that can aren't worth bothering with anyway. :evilbat:
20. Thanks! :D Taking a walk with this puppy is a joy! He is so attentive to me and heels almost all the time, and I don't even think he knows the command, so he does it because he wants too! But he is curious and loves to run too! We met another dog, some kind of cousin to the burnees (sp?) mountain dog, and pup did bark, but I stopped and talked to the other dogs owner for a bit, and puppy was very good, although he didn't greet the dog he didn't bark or grow and just stood in between my legs peeking out. I used to do that as a small kid! He LOVES people! He jumped up on 2 people allready! :o I need to get quicker. They didn't mind though, luckily. Still!
21. Just wanted to let everyone know that I HAVE MY PUPPY!!! :D Just got back, and he is of course very stressed out. Whining lots. But I'm "ignoring" him a little, so he'll calm down. Its working well, he's lying here by my feet whining but behaving. I think he misses his family! Poor puppy :( Its a challenge, but I am sooooo very happy! :)
22. HAPPY H]ALLOWEEN Everyone!
23. Well, I don't have my dog tonight. :( But I will tomorrow! :B-fly: :D So I'm going to celebrate a late halloween and do something little as a costume. Puppy'll be confused as it is having just moved to a new home, so I don't want to scare him. But some red horns on his head for 5 minutes should't do any harm. And NEXT year he'll have the most elaborate, scary costume of any dog in Sweden! :evilbat:
24. Good luck, I hope it goes well! :)
