Ditto on what Newfiemom said......we live in the same neck of the woods !!! :wink: The kids loved their "Snow Day" on Thursday !!! :wink: They were a little disappointed when they got the roads cleared for school on Friday !!! :lol: This morning I woke up to more of the freezing rain, then intermittant flurries this afternoon...... My toes are cold !!! Dogs love it though !!! :D

I used to watch Wishbone with my son when he was younger and that was before I had JRT's. Loved Wishbone !! I have to say Moose in the movie "My Dog Skip", I could watch that movie a million times and still cry !!! :wink:

I guess you must be talking about NYC........ There are alot of places that won't rent to you based on the type of dog you keep. Others will rent to you but only if your dog is under 30lb. or some silly thing like that. :roll: Some places won't rent to people with [b]any[/b] pets. They don't want to be stuck with the damage caused to their apt.'s. :wink: AND, Insurance companies(home insurance) are hiking the rates on people they know keep "guard type/aggressive" dogs. :-? This of course is happening all over not just N.Y. I live in New York State and even in our little town you see the discrimination. My daughter was looking to rent a house and everytime she asked if they allowed pets........they asked "what kind of pet do you own?" and when she said Rottweiler........they all of a sudden don't rent to people with dogs. :wink: :evilbat:

I agree with what courtnek said......your asking us whether you should breed her or not is a moot point, especially with a signed contract. :-? Personally in this day and age, I wouldn't breed at all....just because there are so many dogs of all breeds langoring in shelters and pounds. :( But hey that's just my opinion. :wink:

Well I was definitely wrong, those fireworks must've been huge cause we could hear them......the dogs didn't freak, but they did bark when they first started. :wink: To them it was more like something outside is making a noise and I've got to be on guard !! :lol:

:wink: That's so cool.....I remember that episode and the officer adopting him !! It's good to see that he continues to be a good fit with the family. That just goes to show also that not all dogs that are deemed aggressive can't be changed......just given a little time, love, and patience. :angel:

I just love Jacks......however in my area I'd have to say Labs and Goldens with Pits and Rotty's coming in close......

I have people lined up that love Gretchen !!! :angel: On the hair thing .....same situation here !!! How does that hair fly all over the place ??? When we have dinner ultimately someone has a Gretchen hair in their food !!! So after a few times of someone complaining .....now we say "You got the lucky plate !!!!!" :lol: :lol: :lol:

My Gretchen doesn't beg food, and I practically have to beg her to eat her food....... :roll: She's not obese or anywhere near it even at 95lb........but then again she's got Rottweiler in there too.... :wink:

Dogs I'll never own........ :o Any dog that drools....... :lol: No tiny ones..... :fadein: No Labs, Rottweilers, German Shephards, Dobes, Pit Bulls, Akita's, Boxers. And every dog I've just mentioned above I've owned or come into contact with and have loved, just not for me. :wink: I think each and every breed are beautiful in their own way and function. :angel: Just to throw this in.....I will never have a Lab and it's not cause other people think they're great and that gets my panties in a twist........ :lol: I have a Lab/Rottweiler cross right now and she's the sweetest, most beautiful dog I've ever had. BUT, I'll never be able to repeat her......so I won't try !!! :wink:

HOLY SH*T !!!!! :o Mine don't have papers and only cost me $250, but even pups with papers don't cost anywhere near that !!!!! WOW !!!!! :roll: I sincerely hope for the poor pups sake they get good homes, but boy oh boy are Pet Stores a rip-off !!!!! :x And I believe that all Pet stores should be banned from selling puppies. :wink:

I have 3 dogs and feed 2 different foods....... I feed the Jacks Nutro Natural Choice (Sensitive stomach formula) and Gretchen gets a prescription food called IVD (potato/venison) from the Vet. Allergies=Ear Infections.

One year our Girl Scout troop went out Caroling (I was asst. leader :roll: ) this was strictly for fun and could've been going towards getting some type of badge. Some old folks wouldn't even open their doors...... :lol: I have had professional Carolers come to our door a couple of times dressed in the Vintage clothing and everything !!! They didn't expect money. :wink:

:o Take a nice deep breath and RELAX !!! :D I had to laugh about the poop defrosting on the table, that sounds like something I'd do.......... I've always got 7000 things on my mind at the same time and get side-tracked very easily !!! As a matter of fact , there's a plastic bag with poo sitting out in our yard cause I started poo picking and didn't finish (side-tracked once again.....) My hubby came home and says to me "Nice bag of sh*t out in the yard" :roll: , I said "yeah, isn't it ?" :lol: :lol:
