I think it all depends on the particular dog. Some do well if raised with c@ts and others seem to just naturally get along with them no matter what. I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers and a Lab/Rott mix and 1 c@t. They were all brought up together and get along. :wink: BUT, I don't think the Jacks would be so kind to a strange c@t if they came across one on the outside. :evilbat:

I'm not sure even with steam cleaning you're going to get the smell out 100% if you're not using a specific cleaner for dog messes. I'd say get something specifically made for Dog urine/feces clean-up. :wink: My dogs don't mind the rain, they actually stay out longer than I'd like to.......I go out with my dogs. They don't have an option. :wink:

I still stand by my opinion that people shouldn't bother having them if they're kept outside. I'm talking pets here, not working dogs...... :wink:

I know my opinion isn't going to be popular but I don't know why people get dogs if they're just going to chain them outside to a dog house...... What's the point ?? :-? Dogs are pack animals and like to be with their humans, at least mine do. I know some people give the old excuse that the dog is a guard dog....but how much can he guard if he's chained up ??? I'd rather have my protection in the house with me than chained up in a back yard. :wink:

Sassy is the only one that will let me clip her nails.......... Gretchen has a monthly Groomer's appt. so I've started taking the 2 Jacks with me when I pick Gretch up and they get their nails done by the Groomer. She uses a dremel. :wink:

I'd go out there with a baseball bat, a machete, anything I could get my damn hands on and bludgeon those animals to death !!!!! Sorry, just my opinion....... Labs tend to be a dog that over eat and get obese. :( I have a Lab/Rott 3yr. old and she's a svelte 95lb. She gets 1 3/4 cup 2X/day and the only human food she gets is raw veggies (which she loves and is good for her...) :wink:

Just want to add....I don't own the brush, I had it done at my Groomer's shop.......I think she charged $10 extra for the Furminator treatment. So instead of $30 it was $40. :wink:

I've had the Furminator done to my Lab/Rott Gretchen and I have to say she never looked lovelier and as shiny as when she got that done. It also does cut down on the shedding. :wink:
