5. So sorry Mouse..... R.I.P Gladis
6. I like Kiwi's suggestion of the front carrying pack for the baby. She shouldn't need a diaper bag to go for a walk....just make sure the baby is changed and fed before they go. Make sure she wears something with pockets or a fanny pack to carry her house keys, poo bags etc.... If she has to take the stroller, I'd say take the stroller down the stairs empty first then bring the baby and dogs down 2nd. The coupler R2 mentioned would come in handy with this scenario. Good luck to her !!!
7. I feel like this is one of those Mini-Series that they don't show the end part till next week...... :o I can't wait !!!!!

9.
I called Browntrout Publishing that makes the calendar and the guy I spoke to said those dogs are a mix (like the doodle dogs). He said he couldn't say for sure what kind of mix they were, but that they were a mixed breed. :D
Yes.... they were a Bloody Cocker (Blood Hound/Cocker Spaniel X)
10. When I tell Maisy to be quiet when she's barking....she resorts to this little throaty grrrrr..... that's so cute !!! Gretchen (Lab/Rott) talks like Chewbacca from Star Wars to the point my hubby calls her "Chewie".... She also snorts and snorkles when she sleeps......
11. That is very upsetting but, I can't see how the neighbor can complain about a dog barking..... it's not like you leave him out there barking 24/7.....dogs will bark. In our town the noise code starts at 10pm. As long as you're not breaking any noise codes, I can't see there'll be a problem. Hang in there J.M, and good luck with PoohBear !!! And tell that neighbor to shut-up cause she sounds worse than the dog barking !!!! :evilbat:
12.  Righteous !!!!! Reminds me of my Nakita (Akita/Rott), she was my shadow and companion for near 15yr.... Well I was sitting on the couch and she of course was at my feet...... Hubby comes in and plops himself down next to me and slaps my thigh !! I screech, Kita jumps up bites Hubby's ear and is back down in 3.2 sec. !!! Hubby grabs ear, runs to bathroom, blood won't stop....... Trip to E.R and some nice big black stitches in his ear....... You should've heard the ribbing he got from the guys at work the next day !!!!!!!    Hubby did not blame Nakita, he said she was only doing her job, in her mind.
13. Exactly K...... when I got Sassy at 2mos. she was about 2lb., no way could a 2mo. old JRT jump into a bassinett....... They sound like a bunch of morons to me....... :-?
14. Awwww......poor Pauly, poor you..... :( I think you said it all in the last sentence !!!
15. What do you guys think about this ? I personally don't know how a 2 month old puppy ended up in a bassinett, let alone how a Mother slept through a baby getting it's foot chewed off by needle sharp teeth !! That baby must've been shrieking !!!!!! More to this story I think than is being told at this point....... :-? Dog chews baby's foot; mom charged By Jeremy Craig | Staff Writer Thursday, August 18, 2005 An Augusta mother has been arrested after her 2-month-old daughter's right foot was chewed by a puppy and had to be amputated, officials said Wednesday. Ashley Marie Padgett, also known as Ashley Kellam Padgett, 22, of the 3800 block of Hensley Road, was charged with contributing to the deprivation of a minor, according to Richmond County jail records. Special Ashley Padgett was charged with contributing to the deprivation of a minor. Her 2-month-old daughter had to have a foot amputated.Sheriff's Lt. James Young said Ms. Padgett had placed the girl, Cadence Padgett, down to sleep sometime after noon. Ms. Padgett went to the living room to take a nap herself. At about 1 or 2 p.m., she woke up when she heard Cadence crying and moaning, Lt. Young said. The puppy had apparently jumped into the baby's bassinet and chewed off part of the right foot, he said. One of the baby's toes was also missing. Lt. Young said the puppy was a Jack Russell terrier mix. A police report says the puppy, named Rosco, is about the same age as Cadence. The lieutenant said Cadence was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital, where her right foot was amputated. Ms. Padgett's 20-year-old brother, Stephen Kellam, said Wednesday afternoon that his niece is doing fine at MCG. He said doctors estimated that Cadence would be in the hospital for about a week and a half. Ms. Padgett was held at the Richmond County jail early Wednesday evening on $5,600 bond, jail officials said. "Her momma needs to be with her, but what can you do?" Mr. Kellam said. What upsets family members, he said, is that Ms. Padgett didn't have a chance to say goodbye or kiss Cadence before she was taken into custody by police. "That just ain't right," he said. Bruce McClure, field supervisor for Augusta Animal Services, which took the dog, said Rosco will remain quarantined for 10 days. Mr. McClure said the owners voluntarily surrendered the dog. They "indicated that they did not want the animal back," he said. Mr. McClure said the dog might have been teething at the time of the incident. He said young children and infants should not be left alone with any dog.
16. I sure hope you don't cave in and go to this "Shot gun wedding"...... I can't believe that her daughter/and future SIL gives one crap whether you show up or not......let's face it, all they're interested in is an expensive gift  That wedding sounds like the day from Hell to me......I wouldn't go, I'd rather be with my dogs. And, while we're on the subject....... it's o.k for Daddy and Mommy Dearest to bring their little lovey to your house to shit/piss on your floors but it's not all right for you to bring your well behaved dogs that are going to be crated ????? :-? Something is wrong with this picture.......
17. There is 2 different types of Nutro. There's Nutro Max which isn't as good as Nutro Natural Choice.
18. My #2 daughter got Giardia as a kid......she went on vacation with some friends to their lake..... The poor kid was crapping water(that's what it looked like) !!!!!!! Took her to her Ped. and she tested positive for Giardia !!! It wasn't a pleasant experience !!! At least she made it to the toilet, imagine a poor doggie that can't control it......... :o
19. I have 3 dogs and they get fed 2X/day. In the morning at 7:30 and 5pm at night. I put their food down and give them a certain length of time to finish, if they don't finish the bowl gets picked up and they have to wait until the next meal. They soon learn to finish it while it's there !!! My 3 eat their meals within 10 min. :D It's all in the conditioning.
20. I have JRT's and I've got to say I see more B.C..........
21.
The only Nutro product that I have used (and if I had to go back to Nutro, I would use only this and nothing else) was the Nutro Natural Choice Chicken and Oatmeal. No corn, wheat, soy, or by products. But right now, the kitties are on Solid Gold and the dogs are on Canidae.
That's what my Jacks eat.
22.

I'm thinking okay, maybe it's a large dog, like a GSD/Mastiff Something that doesn't like other dogs. To my shock he say's, they're 2 spayed female labs!!
And thats exactly how stereotypes are formed. I've seen WAY more aggressive labs in my life then I have GSDs or pitties. Glad to hear Sassy was ok though!!
That hasn't been my experience......I don't think I've ever met a Lab that wasn't friendly...but hey, that's just my own experience. I'm sure there are just as many unsocialized and aggressive dogs in every breed. Just depends on the dog/people raising them.
23.

Which one of you bitches got me knocked up--and how?! Sorry, just a funny thought I had.
It was probably Jess :banan:
NO WAY !!!! It had to be one of the prison guards !!!!! C'mon, Drew..... Eric fess up !!!! Which one of you did the dirty deed ??? This thread got to be really amusing !!!! Haven't been here since last week and I got a good chuckle out of it (most of it...) I LOVE DOGO !!!!!!!!! :ylsuper:
24.
it gets even funnier....Kyle came home from work and told me that the guy was spreading all kinds of junk about how his mom was crazy, and threatened him with a gun, and he was gonna call the police, etc. (I am a registered marksman. my guns are legal here, and the police know it) and one of his friends, who knows me well, went into a "OH MY GOD" rant...then explained that I was a registered marksman, and he had seen me shoot(which is true, he and my son target shoot with me) and I can hit a target square bulls eye at 25 feet( all of which is true)and then ends it with..." and you P'D her off???? I'd stay FAR away from THAT house if I were you...." then Kyles GF joins in with "and by the way, my dad is an X-hells angel" (not true) and he LIKES Kyle (is true...)and he went white as a sheet, according to all the witnesses...went to his car (this was this morning) and hasnt been seen since.... there ought to be a cure for testosterone in teenagers...
 I guess he'll think twice before messing with Kyle and his G.F now !!!!
25. Some people are just plain hideous, evil beings.......... I can't believe the torture that man inflicts upon poor helpless animals..... :(
