1. I'm surprised a Kindergarden would allow dogs of any kind to visit. Cool.
2. A dog that is always outside is a prime target for theft for a variety of reasons. The suggestion to find a way to bring him inside is a good one.
3. Spend time in the kitchen doing interesting stuff and ignore the dog till he comes in of his own volition. Once he comes in casually include him in whatever you're doing that is interesting, perhaps give a treat. You could also try desensitizing him to mice if you think that is what caused it. Maybe taking him to see a mouse in cage/aquarium or something?
4.
Right click on the picture and go to properties. Then copy othe URL and paste it in the little address bar.
I still get the oops care2 pic instead of the intended pic.
5. As you are looking to improve your dogs diet from Science Diet I would avoid Maxium. I believe it is just another version of Ol'Roy (although I could be wrong) and that certainly isn't an improvement on Science Diet.
6. You can also use companies store locators: Wysong http://64.177.150.233/us.shtml Eagle Pack - My suggestion is to go with their Holistic line as the others have corn and salt from what I could see. http://www.eaglepack.com/retailer_search/ Most companies have a store locator on their website so if you find a dog food with excellent ingredients you'd like to check out give that a try too.

Please help !!!

Neuter him - this may take time to have any affect on his behaviour. Have a thyroid test done as hypothyroidism causes aggression in dogs. Further have a good once over done on the dog - dogs can be reluctant to show pain but it still affects their behaviour. A behaviourist would be good as well. For the time being keep his environment calm: - let him out when there aren't a lot of people around as often as possible - try to have the home calmish and quietish - don't let children play with the dog - make sure he has plenty of excercise and quiet affection - keep a routine Is your dog an inside, outside or inside/outside dog? Where does he sleep? Does he play? How? What does your dog eat? Has your dog had any vet/health problems? Do you trust your dog?
11. Sometimes I think some of these articles are faked by people trying to stir up shit. Did you get this directly out of the newspaper or from another post? I ask because we used to use our city newspaper in grade 9 english class to practice proofing and editing and even they wouldn't post this article. It is far too artless and artificial.
12. Wheat isn't a stellar dog food ingredient no, better than corn though. There are lots of good dog foods that use rice or potatoes for their carbs instead of wheat due to nutrition/digestion/allergies.
13. Excellent suggestion on the plastic crate or wire crate with blanket Kendalyn. That might work nicely. And the more he is in the house where you do house work, watch tv etc, the more he gets to spend time with you without you paying direct attention to him. That should be less stressful for him. As for the running and hiding in the house that could be because he usually isn't allowed in, it would likely take a little time for him to adjust to that. He will be picking up on what your feeling so focus on not worrying about it and just being freindly/open to him approaching you.
14. They either trail the leash around the house and you can nab it easier than them and reel them in or you attatch them to your ankle or waist.
15.
Treat the kid with the same respect you'd give an adult, and if you need to dispense punishment, try making him stand in the corner with his nose touching the wall for a few minutes or so.
Man, I'm not going to your house, not if your going to try making me stand in a corner. Seriously though, I think you have to be prepared to treat a child (or dog) significantly differnt from the way you treat an adult. There is a difference in the degree/way respect is conveyed. After all you wouldn't actually even try to make an adult stand in the corner with his nose touching the wall if they did something you didn't like - they would be offended. As for the resident child in question: Explain why it is completely unacceptable. Explain what the result will be if he ignores the rule. (You can talk to his dad ahead of time to find a suitable penalty - nose in the corner etc.) Follow through, every time without fail. Praise him if he every plays nicely with them, maybe find a safe game for them to play together with you.
16. 8 is not very old for his size of dog. Maybe he's one of those dogs with odd sensitivities. There are dogs that can detect/predict epileptic seizures, earthquakes, high freq., radio, etc abnormalities. And its not every dog its just a handful. Who knows what he might be noticing that no one else is.
17. Better this problem than the other way around I suppose though. Imagine if both of you thought the other was feeding the dogs.
18. I've fed Merrick to my c@ts. The ingredients seemed very good and they liked it a lot. Their dog food ingredients seem to be of a similar hight quality. I would certainly have no problems feeding it to my boys.
19. Let me know what happens. I have had similar problems with small dogs at a set of trails near us. Some people with small dogs are letting their dogs walk with them offleash because they figure their little dog is small and freindly so it isn't a problem. The thing is they come rushing, all freindly, up to Zaphod, who is of course onleash, and he gets all riled up. They are so small, I'm so worried what would happen if I wasn't able to intercede.
20. Yay! What a trooper he is. I would dress his food up a touch in really healthy ways (mostly just to treat him a bit) but I wouldn't worry much so long as he is still eating a min. of 1/2 a cup per day. It's nice that the girls snuggled up with him, its probably reassuring to him.

what breed is this

Yup. Mixed bred dogs cannot be registered. To help people know what the parents were you could refer to your pups as a Lab/Golden Retriever Cross. Sending them out to good quality homes with a spay/neuter contract is a good idea. I would discourage charging anything for them except maybe what it costs you to give them their first round a vacs and their deworming etc. There are so many mixed bred dogs in shelters that go for less than vet costs that you probably won't get more. This is also an excellent reason to speuter your current pets. Was this an accidental breeding or a deliberate breeding?
22. Keeping you both in my thoughts. Good to hear he is feeling better.
23. IMO if you have control of your dog and he/she isn't salivating, lunging and freaking out there is no problem with socializing an iffy dog in a public place. You just have to be aware of the dog, your surroundings and idiot people doing idiot things.
24. I have a Border Collie and a LabX. 1 Half hour walk per day each seperately. I don't see much point in doing more walking as I am the only one get excercise as no matter how fast I go they act like its a relaxing stroll. 1 Half hour of brisk play at home for Zaphod who is more interested in butt scratches than playing. Endless brisk play for Kavik as he constantly brings things for me to throw no matter where I am or what I'm doing. 1 Outing like off-lead dog park or the beach per week.
25. Wash it down weekly using a hose and resevoir with a dilute solution of bleach and water or Nature's Miracle or something? Or use metal instead of wood?
