1.
Abs just threw up on the rug. (Although we have wooden floors, she just had to go over to the rug and do it. ) It's yellow. So do u think I should be worried? :niewiem:
Rowie vomited yesterday... :o Don't worry, I think it's the liver. Too much liver isn't good for them. Rowie vomited her rice up. I think it really is time to visit that Pet Food Wholesaler....
 2.
Hey maybe we could plan some sort of Dogo vacation?
You know, that would be a great idea! I was thinking about it while surfing the site. Wouldn't it be great? We all have a vacation, WITH our dogs! No more boarding kennels! And the prices aren't that bad either. I can't wait till 2004, maybe it could happen! I think it's a woderful place! Is it the first of it's kind? I would just love to get a private cabin, kick back, rela with my pooch, and get away from it all. We could also do more training, obedience, agility. The list is endless. Everyone start saving from now!
 3. Wabana, your dogs are beautiful! :iloveyou: I'm looking at your site now, and I should tell you, that your a great breeder! If you had been breeding Golden's or Beagle's lets say (my two fav breeds), then I would have contacted you about getting a pup straight away! Crested, Good Luck finding a perfect male! Are you striving to produce pups of show standards or pet? If the male does't have a Ch. title and your striving to produce pet quality, I think everything should go great if he has a good pedigree! Good Luck to all breeders!
 4.
Empirical.... isnt that just the coolest word ever? :P i have used it 4 times today!!! Sorry  i just had to throw that in there. But seriously trolls like youa re good in a way. you come around and stir up trouble and then we get to find out how good of friends we have. thanks troll err, pitbull fan  when i see how everyone bands together to fight this crap you are peddling off, it makes my heart all warm and fuzzy :sweetCyberM: :black:
I agree! If just one of us is bashed, ALL of us pitch in and defend our friends. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside too! It's like we're a pack! One of us gets into a fight, the whole pack pitches in and fights off the intruder (in our case Pit Bull Fan). I love you guys! :iloveyou: Pit Bull Fan has nothing to say it seems....
 5. Too bitter sweet! :bigcry: :bigcry:
 6. Yahoo! Way to go Coaley Moaley! Can't wait for pics and agility updates!
 7. Fingers and Paws crossed here for a full recovery for Jerry! :D Good Boy Jerry! :D
 8.

You mean to say that dog has had dog aggression difficulties for 9 1/2 years now.
Actually, she's probably had them for longer than that, I wouldn't know though since we've only had her since she was 7 months old... she didn't like other dogs then, and became increasingly less tolerant as she matured. Fairly typical pit bull.
WOW! And it appears that your other dogs have learned the same dog aggressive behavior too. Makes me wonder what's going on?
Well.... the younger APBT was found wandering at 8 months, initially showed some defensive type aggression towards other dogs, but as she became more confident, and matured, it developed more into an issue of her wanting to be boss, and trying to fight any dog that didn't accept her as supreme ruler. This was despite numerous attempts by her -then- owner to socialize her with other dogs and let her play. We got her 7 months ago, and she's mostly been seperated from the other dogs until recently, still hasn't met two out of four, and still wouldn't mind eating the newest one she's been introduced to. She will never be allowed with ANY dog expect for under the strictest ofsupervision, because she WILL fight, and we'd rather take a few precautions, than lose a dog. The Dachshund was socialized some as a pup, then her owner slacked off on it, but most likely her problems stem from poor breeding. She was also defensive initially around other dogs/people when we got her (age 1 1/2 yo), bordering on being a fear biter, but has since gained an enourmous amount of confidence, and her issues are similar to the younger APBT's, except because she's so small, it seems she views EVERY dog she sees as a challenge.
Why is it after 9 1/2 years you are still attempting to stop your dog aggression towrds other dogs?
I am not trying to stop my dog's aggression towards other dogs (though I have in the past, with dismal results), instead working to teach her better control in situations that would normally cause a reaction from her. It's an ongoing process, not something that can be changed overnight (though, given your past posts, I'm sure you'll find that hard to believe).
Why isn't your training working then?
It has. As I mentioned above, a well trained dog is a lifetime of commitment, not just a one time thing to be done, then forgotten about.
Why has it taken 9 1/2 years to train your dog to be non-dog aggressive?
My dog is not "non-dog aggressive", never wll be. She is, however, a very well behaved dog aggressive dog, and has enormous amounts of self control, thanks to the training we've done.
And if your dog is naturally dog aggressive, why even bother trying to stop the dog from it's own natural inborn PIT FIGHTING GENE?
As I said before, I'm not trying to stop the dog from wanting to fight. Instead, I'm teaching her to control herself even when she want's to fight, by showing her more appropriate ways of behaving in those situations.
If you have to practically hide from everyone inorder to walk your dog, then you surely have a dangerous dog on your hands, now don't you?
Call it that if you like, I think of it more as there being less chance of a stray, loose, or out of control dog running up to us and ruining all the work we've put in to get to this point. We've passed a few leashed, under control dogs while out, not the slightest problem. If that's hiding, then so be it.
If people would stop kissing each others asses on here and look at the reality, then people may be helped with their dog problems. To blindly read that someone has a very dog aggressive dog and compliment them on how well the dog is taken care of, makes no sense.
The only one not looking at reality here is YOU. There have been dozens of valid, scientific sources quoted and or linked to on here that back up the claims I and other people have made on pit bulls being dog aggressive by nature... you've managed to come up with a few irrelevant pieces from unknown sources to back your opinion, and expect people to take your word as the truth.
:klacz: *Claps for Goo*
 9. OMG! You mean someone hacked you? :o Does anyone else know your password? Maybe that someone deleted the new PM? Good you changed your password! :o Hey does it automatically log in? Maybe someone from home went to dogo and logged in auctomaticaly then went to check out the PM's for fun? :-? That's scary! Viruses, hackers...guests...what else? :o What has Dogo come to? :bigcry:
 10. Thanks Carol! You :lilangel: ! Awwwwwwwwwww, she's adorable! I agree that tie is sexay! Keep her away from the guys mind you, she's too sexy for her own good!
 11.
gooey walks her dog at that time because she is a responsible pitbull owner........
 12. I can't see the pic! Can someone post it here for me to see? I'm so glad she's on the page! What a lucky girl! :D
 13.
If you have to practically hide from everyone inorder to walk your dog, then you surely have a dangerous dog on your hands, now don't you?
MAYBE Guest, if Goo walked her dog with lots of crowds, her dog could get in a fight with another dog! Then it will be all over the media, and you'll be gloating saying that YOU where right all along! MAYBE Goo wants to aviod situations like that! MAYBE she's TRAINING her dog instead of coming onto this forum and bashing us like YOU! Man, we haven't had a guest in a long time! Forgot the feeling!
 14.
In response to the so called PitBull Fan Why is it after 9 1/2 years you are still attempting to stop your dog aggression towrds other dogs? Why isn't your training working then? Perhaps Goo believes that training does not stop when the dog is 1 or 2 or 3 or??? Perhaps Goo believes that training, like bonding, is something that occurs over many years, the entire life of the dog? Now I'm not trying to speak for Goo, I respect her judgement AND capabilities far too much for that. When I am asked how I got my dogs to behave as well as they do, I say, 'years of practice'. Not a month, not A year, but YEARS. Why has it taken 9 1/2 years to train your dog to be non-dog aggressive? With a dog that is naturally dog aggressive, again this is an ongoing training issue. You cannot flip a switch, you cannot take your dog out and train it for 20 minutes a day for 6 months and say woo hoo dog aggression issues are ALL GONE. Maybe if you gave the dog a lobotomy. And if your dog is naturally dog aggressive, why even bother trying to stop the dog from it's own natural inborn PIT FIGHTING GENE? Are you saying Goo should have just given up on her dog? Does this dog not deserve to live? Does she not deserve a caring, loving home where her needs are met and her natural tendancies are not only known but dealt with in a responsible cautious manner? Or are you saying Goo should let her dog go after other dogs? What are you trying to say here? If you have to practically hide from everyone inorder to walk your dog, then you surely have a dangerous dog on your hands, now don't you? Goo herself has owned up to her dogs attributes and has detailed what she does to minimize any chance of inappropriate interaction. What IS your problem with this? If people would stop kissing each others asses on here and look at the reality, then people may be helped with their dog problems. To blindly read that someone has a very dog aggressive dog and compliment them on how well the dog is taken care of, makes no sense. Again, just what IS your problem with this? Goo takes strong steps to protect not only her dog aggressive dog but also to protect other dogs. Goo does not fight her dogs, she does not beat her dogs, she does not ignore her dogs, she does not insist ALL pit bulls are the same, she DOES care for her dogs, she DOES protect her dogs, she DOES see that her dogs have fun in safe environments. Though I suspect I know, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? Just like you folks on here voice your opinions, I have the right to do the same. So true. By the same reasoning, I have every right to consider you an idiot who does not know much but is nonetheless quite willing to run off at the mouth anyway. You are now so caught up in simply wanting to pick a fight and be critical that you are making even less sense than before. I did not think that was possible but I stand corrected.
THANK YOU CAROL! :D I wanted to say all these things as I read Guest's response! So we stop training at 2 or 3 huh?? :x Training is a lifelong process wether the dog is 13 years or 4 months old! GOD SOMEONE CALL GUEST CONTROL!
 15. HF, the dogs are STUNNING!!!!!!!! Oh my! How I wish I was with you when you took the pics! I agree the spider its really cool! 8)
 16. I'm so sorry to hear all this has happened in such a small amount of time DeafAussieLover. You've had a rough week/day. Take care and please post even if it's a different account. Get K to give you your old passoword, or put all your old posts in this, I think she can do that..... Take care hun! Be strong! You'll live through this I garentee it!
 17. Very well said Goo! :D Gooey, this guest is obviously a troll. Will fight about this topic till the end. Doesn't really care what we say, is too stubborn. Yes, guest, your stubborn and RUDE! And don't think the moderators can't check IP's and see if your the same person or not, because they can! Gooey, I trust your advice and training and handling of your dogs! I have ALWAYS read your posts with great care, paying attention to details. I have been here for almost a year and I know that you put in ALOT of research into Pit Bulls and Dog Care. You are one of the most knoladgable people on Pit Bulls I have ever met. Your answers always make sence, and I can always see your point of view. You've rescued all your dogs. Your mom is a vet. What else? Your dogs are in the BEST care and I know it! This guest has just met you and assumes your Pits are "bad". Look who's giving Pits a bad rap now. I do not and will not believe that your dogs are bad or a danger. Just ignore rude guests like these. We all know your pits are wonderful! You have done so much research, so much time you took to help your dogs and give them the best life possible. Guest doesn't understand that and will not. He/she/IT hasn't spent a year here to understand that. I do. And no matter what I'm on your side!
 18.
Canidae (don't know if they have puppy)
They don't. What they do have is "All Life Stages". For a puppy, you feed more cups, for an adult, less, and for a Senior, I'm not so sure. I think it's a better idea, personally. Okay guys, now it's time for my question. I live in the middle of nowhere. I tried getting Natural balance, and Canidae shipped here with no luck. I tried to get a Pet Shop to carry Canidae, no luck again. Just when I thought I would have to feed Pedigree (yuck!) forever, I found out there was a Pet Food Wholesaler nearby. I'm going to visit them soon, and talk to them about carrying Canidae. My question is, now that I have an opition to bring almost any dog food I like here, which should I chose? Canidae is excellent, the ingrdients are wonderful, so is Wellness and Innova. Eagle Pack too and Timber Wolf. Which should I chose? I'm already e-mailing the International Sales Person from Canidae, told him all about the Pet Food Wholesaler, so I think I'm going to go with that. Any suggestions?
 19. Oh Aonir! I'm so sorry! Poor black Kitty! I've written something for you on "Motherless, kittens". Rest In Peace Black Kitty, The Angels are waiting....
 20. Welcome! :) Why would you like to know? Brussels Griffons! They are adorable! :iloveyou:
 21.

-Cropping for all puppies if needed. Docking too.
sorry to say this, but as cropping and docking are illegal in finland - it's sick to mutilate innocent puppies :(
I wish I lived in Finland then! :( I am against it too, but I'm guessing this person doesn't live in Finland. And Pit Bulls do sometimes have cropped ears (alhtough I love their floppy ears! :))
 22.

(Crested, I can always put what you said in a translator!)
(kough, kough) I forgot about that...
Out of the kindness in my heart, I will not traslate what you said. EVERYONE BOW DOWN TO ME! Prim, I LOVE your sig!
 23. URGH! How annoying! :x I, unfortunatly, am not good at comebacks! I need time to think it over and bla bla bla so I guess I have nothing to say... :o That guy is a jerk! He does need classes! @$$hole!
 24. :D CONGRATULATIONS MYSTIC! :D I can't believe your great show results! :D That is excellent! Give yourself a good pat on the back and Mystic a BIG hug! That is WONDERFUL news and I am sure you where THRILLED! :D There's a small show here in January, I can't wait! Hopefully I will show my Rowie! (It's not an official show actually, no clubs or anything! It's just for fun! There's the cutest dog, best trick, best in breeds, best in show (for fun), and an agility winner! :D)
