1. We would never get sick of Devin updates! :D I agree, if it where a TV series I would be watching everyday! Or if it where some kind of book I wouls surly read it! I'm so glad he has found a "forever home"! Devin has had a rough time, but now hopefully his road will run smoothly.. :D Good luck Devin! :hand: As for the two Standards, you can always foster...! :D 2 more doesn't make a difference right? Or you can adopt...or find them forever homes too! :D Good luck!
2. OMD! That is how Rowie looked after the vets needed to cut all her fur off because of the ticks! So Rowie's not alone... I also heard that shavind doesn't help... I also heard that shaving a dogs fur can be really bad for the coat and that it will rarely grow back again? :-? Dunno if it's just in a certain breed or in all breeds... I don't shave Rowie's fur just to make sure...
3. I also hope you have no intentions of doing it, either. The results will be horrible, many may be still born, and they will certainly have genetic defects. Most probably, they will not survive. If they do, it will take ALOT of money to keep them alive and healthy. Plus the cost of taking care of the mother AND her son (whom she has mated with :o ). These puppies are what they call inbred. And if your dogs have already mated I suggest that you read up alot about your certain situation and do your research. This will be a very uncomfortable time for your dog and you, and believe me there will be problems. Also, there is the risk of your dog dying as a result of bad breeding. Remember, after the puppies are born and weaned, take the mother AND her son to get neutered and spayed, the shelters of the world are already too over crowded. PLEASE help the pet over population problem. And make sure if you are to sell the puppies, to have some kind of contract to make sure the puppies new owners are going to spay/neuter them. Also, you must inform the new owners that the puppies are inbred, and that there will be some kind of genetic problems with them.

10. This is such a wonderful idea! :D I would suggest breeds that are relatively unknown...I like the idea of the Puli and Sarloos Wolfhound, they very rare. What about the Pumi? And Goldenluv, YES!! :D You said Beagle! :D I LOVE Beagles! And the idea of an APBT is great...because while people are sitting on the tiolet ( :o) or washing their hands or whatever they can see the APBT and the information and get to understand it better! :D The idea will educate people...the Bernese Mountain Dog, Weimaraner, Dal (liver spots), what about this dog and I bet NONE of you have heard of it: Prazsky Krysarik.... The TINIEST dog I have EVER SEEN!! It will really educate people.... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE GOLDEN AND BEAGLE... I think I'll have a calender made too....with pics of Rowie only ofcourse... :D (here's a cool idea... add Coal's pic! :D Make him his own breed )

12. Kaleb, I am so sorry you had to go through all of this. You did the right thing in putting him down, he was not trustworthy. My throat is tight and my eyes are blurry, I just finished reading the story on the website... poor Suki. It was not his fualt, the poor boy! R.I.P Suki... What a horrible breeder! You should report her/him! 2 WEEKS?! :o I would have never believed it...!! WELCOME BACK YELLOW! :D So glad to have yah back! And I know EXACTLY what you mean about people wanting a Lab for thier kids! It's so anoying! Most people also want a Golden, but the Lab is what everyone wants I guess because it's a lighter shedder then the Golden. I actually met a guy who asked me if we would trade dogs because he wanted to enter Rowie in Dog fighting... :o That was a change...
13. I feel like crying....in joy! I went to the BSPCA yesterday, and was met by great news! Here's the story. I remember the first time I saw her, it was way back in December or November. She was in the far corner of her cage, licking two weak pups suckling by her side. She was a sad sight, a stray, abused, and was pregnant when found. Her fur short fur was covered in ticks, all sucking away the only energy she had. As I neared the cage, I heard a soft growl, it seemed this dog was really over protective of her pups...I didn't blame her, she was abused and had a hard birth, and with two very weak puppies, I expected a growl. I passed her cage, and went to the next one, where two older puppies lay sleeping. The next one held another mother dog and her pups. These where different, they where stronger, older, and healthier. The mother wasn't so over protective either. She was a short Corgi mix, I knew she would have no problem finding a home, her and her puppies. But the over protective mother melted my heart. There was something about her. I went over to her cage, this time she let out a loud growl, and showed me her teeth. I decided to stay away. The next time I went over to the BSPCA was after about a month. As I had expected, the mother dog with the healthy puppies (the one who looked like a corgi) was adopted. Only the other one remained. I was met by sad news, her puppies had died, they where too weak.I went over to her cage to see her. She was all alone, and looked weaker and more pitiful then before. I noticed how thin she was only skin and bones! Her fur was dull, not to mention, covered in ticks. "Dotty" as the staff called her, has the most unusual and beautiful pattern. She was black and tan, unyet her paws and legs where white, spotted in black. Her muzzle had a white strip all the way to the top of her head, and her lips where a mixture of tan and white. She also had a white tip at the end of her tail. She was amazing. Tears suddenly sprang into my eyes, how could someone abuse such a beautiful creature? I asked the staff if it was safe to let her out, and they said it was fine. I opened the cage slowly, and let her out, the change in her was scary! A few weeks ago, she was growling and baring her teeth at me, but now, she sat down and gave me her paw. I scratched her behind the ears and gave her a belly rub, she was by far the sweetest thing I had ever seen!! My throat tightened, she was so sweet, what did she do to deserve this? I found myself with playing with her until it was time to go home. I put her back in the cage, and promised her I would be back. It was a long time before I came back to the BSPCA. So when I finally did go, I was terribly excited. And guess who greeted me at the sanctuary door? Dotty! I missed her so much! I had expected her to be adopted by now! Why would anyone not want such a sweet angel? Turns out, she had way to many ticks. I watched on as the staff put her on a grooming table and tried to pick out as many ticks as they could. After half an hour not even a quarter of the ticks where gone. Poor sweet Dotty, all she wanted was someone to love her. Then I heard great news, a wonderful couple from England wanted Dotty! I could have cried for joy! Then I saw her at the Dog Show. It was in January, and one of the sanctuary staff was fostering her until she could go to the UK, she was going through the UK PETS scheme, and needed to be in quarentine. But the Dotty I saw was so different! She actually had a little meat on her, and the ticks where all gone! Her fur was sleek and shiny and thick, and she had a permenant smile on her face. We went over to the staff member and talked to her. She told us all about Dotty and who was going to adopt her. I was so happy! :D Well, yesterday I was at the BSPCA, and they have a bulletin board with notices for lost dogs and cats, when to give certain dogs flea dips and when this cat needs a spaying operation. Dogs and cats that need homes, everything! Anyway, there was a HUGE computer print out, with a picture of a BEAUTIFUL green field, with horses all around a even a foal! And there to the left stood a man and a beautiful dog, with really thick fur, and some meat on her! And she was looking at the foal, and her floppy ears where alert. She was the most amazing dog I had ever seen! And to the right was written "Dotty in her new home". My throat tightened and my eyes got all watery. My Dotty? The Dotty who way back in December, was a skinny, stray, Bahraini dog, with two weak pups and no possible future? The skinny Dotty all alone in her cage? The Dotty I saw at the dog show? I almost cried right there and then...I was so happy for her! It just comes to show you, every dog has a chance! :D (The story's done now you can wake up...)
