Imagine it's human owners baby falling out of a swing, it not knowing what to do, it's owners come to see the baby dead. First thing that comes into their mind? Our vicious Pit Bull has killed our baby! The dog is really frightened, chained outside. Gets loose, and when running, is chased by cars, hears gun fire, then dies!! Last thing the poor dog heard was gun shots... :cry: Bad owners + Bad breeders= Death :cry: R.I.P "vicious" Pit Bull! :angel:

Wow!!!!! What a WONDERFUL story!!! I'm so glad Rex was reunited with his family! :D I really want to have Rowie microchipped (there are some creepy people around here :o ), not sure when. I'm amazed at how something so SIMPLE and cheap can do so much!! I once heard of a beagle that was lost for 6 years ( :o)and was reunited with it's owners thanks to microchipping! :wink: Keep us updated Aurora! :D

That is really eerie. :-? I think there might have been blood (like Courtnek said) on it... and the dogs could smell it and it frightened them... I have never heard of somthing so weird...!! :-?

Aurora, I am so happy for you! You really deserve it! :wink: We all know how stressed you had been about it, and how much work and effort you put into curbing Lily's dog agression! :D :bday: [size=7][color=violet][b]WAY TO GO LILY![/b][/color][/size] :bday: My Auntie Ann and I would go for a walk every friday in the desert with her "walking group" as I like to call it, and their dogs. There where two Labs, and two mixes. The two mixes looked like foxes! We had so much fun on those walks! I met a girl who LOVED Rowie, and another boy who LOVED her too! They both wanted turns walking her! It was a blast! Except the first time we went, one of the mixes went over to sniff Rowie, and was fine. But the next time she came over, she suddenly, without a warning, grabbed Rowie's ear! They got into a little quarrel, thankfully they where separated before any harm came to them! Rowie didn't fight back, just yelped, the thing was over in 5 seconds. The lady didn't even say sorry! :x Ahh well!

I hafto say I agree with Cassie, DP, and Courtnek on this one! :wink: This is why there are very strict pack rules, and etc. This is why you see very little genetic defincies in wild animals, and passed on diseases. Nature is a very wonderful thing!! :D Courtnek, we have the "royal family only marries royal family" thing here too... :( Not as seriuos, but a man from the royla family may marry any woman he pleases, but the woman of the royal family must marry a person of royal heritage... :( Sad..

Welcome Moni.... :) I just opened up my dog book to look up the Caucasian. I also opened the Dogomania Breeds page. The Caucasian as Mei-Mei said is no joke! My advice would be to research, research, research! Go to the Dogomania breeders page and find some good breeders who would be willing to educate you about the Caucasian. Also go to Dog Shows and talk to breeders/showers there about the Caucasian. Keep your ears open...breeders know the best about their dog breed, more then a Dog Encyclopidia would ever know! The next step is to socialize, socialize, socialize! It's good that he knows who is boss. Take him to as many places you ca. Maybe even to work! Get him used to loud noises, and strange people coming over. Start puppy classes as soon as he gets his shots, and get him used to other dogs sniffing him etc. Since he is so young (40 days) he has not learned some of the things he is supposed to learn from littermates and mothers. Some behavriol issues might arise. The last step is all the love you can give! Every dog breed loves love, and attention! :wink: Good Luck and [i]please[/i] keep us updated! :wink: And we would love pics! :D

It was all funny :lol: until the last one... :cry: That one made my throat tighten...it's all so true.... Once I went to the BSCPA and there was this BEAUTIFUL long haired sable GSD, and it was so friendly! And there was this guy, and he was picking him up. I asked him if this was his dog, he said it was, and that he didn't want it anymore, but the BSPCA said he might hafto be put down so he took him back. He had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the dog! I mean I would have loved to, but what kind of owner is that? :x He adopted a cat too...I couldn't believe the BSPCA let him... :cry:
