I'm so sorry Behle! I missed this whole thread...!! :cry: I'm speechless, my eyes are getting blurry and my throat aches. I can imagine how hard it is to lose such a loyal and wonderful friend.... That's the problem, she doesn't CARE about them! Not even who they go to! I'm guessing that they'll sell them for a cheap price, and loads of people will flock over to see the cute little puppies who will soon grow and be sold once again. Since I live in Bahrain, there are VERY and I mean VERY few responsible owners. Most are people from the US or UK or somwhere other than an Arab country. In thier religion, it is considered "un-clean" to own a dog, and to own one is more "un-clean". So very few own them. I am definatly NOT implying that they are bad dog owners or haters, not at all, what I am saying is that very few own them. BUT there are those who own them that are very good dog owners, those that I have learned alot from. I am not trying to say anything bad about thier religion, because I have a great respect for it. Anyway, in thier religion, a dog is not allowed inside the house. Here is my problem, she is a muslim, and her family will not allow the dogs inside the house. The dogs are considered as livestock, as goats or sheep to be sold and bought without researching or thought. Not that all muslims do that, only careless owners, like her family. Then comes the problem that I am not very close to her. I cannot just go there and tell her that I'm going to help, but it turns out my cousin is, so she might be able to help. See, my friend doesn't really CARE...it's just somebody comes with a lot of money, put the pups in a box, say good bye, and that's it. That's why I'm going with the BSPCA. My plan is to ask my cousin if we could go over for a couple of hours to meet the pups, her house is WONDERFUL and near the beach, we can WALK there..!! Anyways, then we'll tell her about the BSPCA, and how they'll find them great homes and etc. I'm sure she'll let us take them there. Because, if she wants to sell, most likey a bad owner will come up..believe you me, I have lives here most of my life and understand the dog world here. Many times I've fallen for the "Puppies for Sale add"....it's really bad. My second plan (Plan B :evilbat: ) is to ask her if I could find someone to the pups to, keep them at my house in the kitchen, then find someone searching for pups through Rowie's trainer, who knows the whole dog community of Bahrain by heart. *Yawn* Gosh, I'm really tired! I need to think this out! Tomorow night I'll call my cousin and talk it over...thanks for the input and advice guys! :D

Yesterday, as a "Welcome Back" treat, my cousin and her friends all took me out for some dinner and bowling. We had a blast, although I did embarrass myself as I usually do by falling down infront of everyone in the bowling lane as I threw my ball. :oops: Anyway, as we where all eating, one of my friends said :"Why don't you all come over to my house after this?" We all agreed, and I said:"Yes! We'll be able to see your two new puppies that you've always been talking about! Well, she replied :"Oh? Them? We're selling them! They've become too smelly and are scaring the cats too much." My response? This------> :o TOO SMELLY? I couldn't believe it! I didn't say anything, just kept on eating my fries. In the end we didn't go to her house, as it was getting late. I don't know this girl too well, I mean, we are friends, but not that close, so should I really stick my nose into her personal life and tell her not to sell her pups? (They have the most adorable names by the way. "Gucci" and "Armani") She WAS planning to breed them too! :o Shows how responsible she is! Did I mention she had another dog who got pregnant then ran away? Did I also mention that these two puppies are oustide in the heat, which according to the weather update is 108 degrees farenhiet? I really worry about the pups... :cry: My plan is to either BUY the pups ( :o) which my mum will DEFINATELY not allow, or ask her to take them to the BSPCA. I've done alot of thinking, if I ask her to take them to the BSPCA, they'll live a much better life, as the BSPCA will only give them to good owners. And pups are usually adopted in a few days anyway..... So, what do you think? Nadooshkinz, Deez, will ya help? :D What do you other guys think I should do? :D

Bensam, I am so sorry about Ben. It must have been the hardest thing in the world to do. God bless you for ending his suffering..... Remember, he is shining down on you from heaven. Or the rainbow bridge, whatever you believe in. He is happily digging holes, and smiling, playing with the other doggies, and doing anything he pleases. He is also patiently waiting for you, so that you may once again be together. Think of the great times you had together, and smile. Even the times he drove you crazy will make you laugh! Remember, all he wanted to do on earth was to make you happy, it's still the same when he's in the rainbow bridge.....he wants you to be happy! Fila's are really aggressive, not that I'm discriminating against the breed, but did you know they are the only breed allowed to bite the judge in a show? It's in thier blood to be aggressive....so why not ban them too? Today was a nice day! :) I saw my very first, real, live, American Pit Bull Terrier! :D I was at Yatooma's house today, and we where walking down the street by her house, when a man and his dog came by and started looking for a box in the garbage! ( :o Yes, I know, weird...). Anyway, I got a closer look at the dog, and my eyes nearly fell out of my sockets... A real, live American Put Bull Terrier, was only a few feet away from me, sniffing at the garbage, and then looked up and saw me, and gave me the all famous "Pit Bull" smile that I only see in pictures. It was heaven I tell you! Even in that blistering heat! Anyway, the owner looked up at me, and I was just about to introduce myself and ask him if I could pet his pooch, when Yatooma (thanks alot! :roll: :lol:) said she wanted to go back home, and it was hot. I regretfully left, wondering about the Pit.... I can't help but think that this was the Pit I saw in an add a long time ago at the super market.... :-? Same color, not really, but, how many Pit Bulls do you see in Bahrain? Not that many....!! Another thing, I recently found out (but forgot to tell you guys! :oops:) that my cousins friend's brother got a Pit. I was surpirised! Thier family knew nothing about dogs, thier mother hated them! The dog is in a CAGE and is not allowed in the house! Now you wonderful APBT owners/lovers tell me what this Pit is gunna turn out to be? They already have problems with it ripping thier clothes and biting them.... I don't like where this is going.... :cry: Anyway, so I had a Pit Bull day today! Thought I would make you guys smile, I know that Pit did! :D (He smiled to me, too!) I will try to dig put more info on my cousin's friend's Pit (her name is Shagrah by the way, the dog I mean! :lol:) That means (according to my cousins friend) Blondie or light colored in arabic (the dog is white). She promised pictures, but I still haven't got any.... :-? It just keeps getting weirder and weirder and I'm wondering if it's all just a lie, cuz she knows I'm a doggie lover and owner... :-? Oh! I really wanna adopt him! :cry: It's so sad! There may have been good reasons yes, but it seems most likely he came from a bad owner, as he is not nuetred, but you never know! :wink: He reminds me of the Sheltie in the Shelter in Atlanta (the one we saved! :wink:), when I saw his picture I was like :"Whoa! I gotta save him!" You know, you get that feeling sometimes? Like, "I gotta save him!" or "He/she is mine!". It's weird...I really wanna save him!
