1. All of them describe me perfectly!!! Except instead of " You'd rather stay home on Saturday night and cuddle your dog than go to the movies with your sweetie." we lye in bed on Friday nights watchin the Bulldogs play footie while all my friends are calling me begging me to go out  I love my dogs, and proud of it!!! :D
2. My sisters dog is three quarters poodle and she still sheds. Lily on the other hand hardly sheds at all. I'm a very strong beleiver that a good diet is one of the best ways to make a pet less allergenic. Our cats used to be fed cheap food, they'd always make everyone sneaze and stuff. As soon as I switched them to a better diet people stoped sneazing around them. Also, Tessa used to moult like crazy all the time and smell doggie - I switched her to BARF and now she hardly sheds and barely smells. All I'm saying is that, whatever breed she gets, feed it a good diet and it will be even less allergenic.
3. They were so in love - if ever I knew what heaven was like it was watching those two play  ... especially when they hugged and kissed... Tessa met Wizard, but didn't get any photos with him. Guess I'll just have to get some cute guy shots with Tessa in them instead/as well!!! Racking my brain for cute guys to invite over for happy snaps with the dogs, not happy though because I had the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen over the other day playing with Lily and didn't think of taking a photo!!! Hmm, guess I'll just have to ask him back?
4. Well a while ago I posted how happy I was that Lily had found a friend, a Boxer called Wizard that was lost and we took in for the night until we found his home the next day. Well I promised I'd post the photos when they were developed, so here you go! Next promise will be a collection of "Lily with cute guys" photos! All my friends come over and visit Lily, I think I've got a couple of cute ones in there at the moment... guess I'll just have to keep getting more photos of Lily with cute guys until I have a big enough collection to post here for you guys!! ANY EXCUSE TO GET CUTE GUYS TO VISIT
5.   Thanks bk, no wonder I forgot    I'm clueless! :drinking:
6. Ooops, I forgot! :( Well dad and the rest of the family are away in Sydney, so he probably didn't realise that I'd forgotten, I'll just have the house tidey and dinner on the stove when he gets home at the end of the week and he'll be happy
7. :o :o :o Looking at those pics makes me want to go and hop in a cold oatmeal bath right now!!! They also make me want to cry  How can people be so un caring?
8. I can't see it either, and after all that effort you put in posting it!!! Just a big sight advertisment thingie :o
9. I voted. I'll definatly be entering Lily in the next contest!!!
10. They still aren't a breed and Don Bourke shouldn't be promoting them as though they are and encouraging unscroupulous backyard breeders to breed mutts. The show is called Bourkes Backyard, and I'm sure if you did have a look into his backyard all you would find is a puppy mill. People can't cross two breeds of dog together and expect to come up with a knew breed or to be able to sell it for a ridiculous price. You also can't expect to get the traits you're after, wouldn't it be nice if people who bred dogs always had all the right traits in every puppy? How do you know the pups will be non shedding or hyper allergenic? Chances are twice as likely the dogs will end up at the pound because they DON'T have these traits the breeder says they will have.
11. Never trust a male, I'd sooner trust one of my dogs to remind me of an important appointment than a male! :o

boxer information

Lily was always very skinny when she was younger. Boxers are just so energetic and grow so fast they are almost impossible to keep up with their calories!!! What i did for Lily was make one of her meals each day lamb off cuts with lots of fat and raw chicken bones, chucked in an egg a few times a week etc and now she looks like the incredible hulk!!! She's just all muscle! She's the perfect weight and she's the shiniest I've ever seen a dog. Good luck and let us know how she goes
13. For gods sake, spay the poor dog now!!!! I don't mean to sound harsh, but you really should have got her done long before she even came into her first heat. If not for the sake of the dog, please spay her for the sake of your wallet, cuz you'll be sorry if you don't!
14. Oh, I got half way through it and "Sorry, this site is temporarily unavailable! " came up!!!! I didn't even get to finish and I was having so much fun!!! Its kinda reminding me about my decision to get Lily desexed, weighing up the pros and cons etc. Pretty cool sight really
15.
Ofcourse this b*tch deserves a punishment..H*ll yes! BUT, also her partner too! HE left his dog there to die! He should have taken responsibility! :x Just my opinion....
As much as I agree with you there, we don't know the situation. He may love that dog, and be heartbroken at what happend to it, but the situation may have been out of his control. How was he to know she would be so evil and cruel?
16. Yup, he's been around for as long as I can remember and the stupid thing is that the general public trust him and take his word for things they really should be looking up on anyway. He probably just ran out of pure breds to breed so started on the searching of mixed breeds that he could promote instead
17. What does he think he's playing at??? Not only is he encouraging ignorant people to breed heredity disease ridden dogs that aren't even pure bred I was reading about a book he's put out on dog breeding. It basically said, find a dog that is purebred, find another dog of the same breed, breed the dogs and walla, you're a dog breeder!!! Evil, evil man
18. This guy makes me so angry. We've had a topic in here about him before but I was just reading in the paper "CAVOODLE puppies, (Poodle x Cavalier, as seen Bourkes Backyard.).... $300 - $350". What does this idiot think he's doing encouraging people to breed breeds that aren't even breeds??? And expect that people will pay pedigree prices for these mutts??? Argh!!! Just had to rant :x
19. Bublezzz, its a good idea to fade out the treats gradually, dropping out a treat every now and again and gradually working to only rewarding every now and again. Dogs are more likely to remember and respond to training if treats are faded out - its more like a game where they think "when am I gonna get the treat???". In studys it has been proven that if you use variable reinforcement rather than reinforcing every time it is more likely the command will be preformed and less likely that it will be forgotten.
20. Sounds strange to me, I've got no idea. Good luck with her though, I hope its nothing serious. :-?
21. Longest tounge, best 'action' dog, saddest looking dog (with those gorgeous puppy dog eyes), best fashion award (for those dogs who go out of their way to wear santa hats, little outfits etc)...
22. Tessa smiling for the camera - Tessa and my friends dog "Tiny" as a pup - Puddles having a bad hair day - Uncle Ben and his old dog, Brutus - All the funny ones of Lily aren't scanned up yet!!! But thats ok, putting a digital camera on lay by!
23. Don't do it.... if you know you can't afford it then chances are, you really can't afford it. If this pup is as everything as you say (which I'm sure it is!) it will find a new home to love it. I went to the pound the other day and saw the most gorgeous greyhound cross pups, oh how I wanted that gorgeous little female one!!!!! Though I know I couldn't afford it, when dealing with a dogs life common sense must prevail. I want a papillion so much, but there's no way I'm getting one until I have finnished uni, have a good job and have settled into a house
24. Oh thanks Rowie, I didn't even realise!!!!!! :bday:
25. Thanks for all the usefull information everyone - all those unwanted dogs every year  I've got a chem assignment to do and some other uni stuff, but I'll write the letter as soon as I get the chance and post it in here so you can all look it over before I post it and help me to make it better. Thanks again! :fadein:
