K's best quality is being able to "chill". ;) Pets N' Play clients: This is the posterboy for a Day of Pets N'Play :): I hope you can use these.

My deepest sympathies to you, HF. I know how hard this must be for you. He was such a beautiful boy. Hugs.

Kyra is a Labrador Retriever mix (possible purebred though) who is going on 8 years old in the early New Year. I was wondering at what age do you put your pooch on a Senior Dog Food? I'm pretty clueless about this. But K has slowed down and she's definitely becoming more of an "older gal". Is there a specific way you guys knew when to put your dog on the Sr. Food? Also, what is the main purpose of Sr. Food? What does it do for an older dog?
LOL the tallest guy i ever dated was 7 foot 1 inch! :o :o quite the old couple let me tell you
7'1"? Holy crap! That's one huge dude! I think the tallest person I've EVER dated was 6'3". Any taller and people would have thought at my height, that I was his daughter! LOL How tall is Justin, DAL?

Congratulations on Carson. I went over to the pics section to take a peek and boy, is he a gorgeous fella! BTW, I love the name "Carson". :)

I can't believe I forgot his birthday!

Happy birthday Riley, you beautiful dog! Have a super day! :bday: -
I love this big boy, but do I want three dogs?
Mutt_Lady replied to JackieMaya's topic in Everything about dogs
He is a gorgeous dog! Judging by your last post, I'm guessing that your family is going to have one new member. :) Update us soon on what's going on with Hogan. He is such a looker! -
Ditto to what HF and Lucky_Chaos said. I should have seen this post earlier and sent you my prayers and hugs. I'm sorry that I didn't see this before. But, I'm SO glad that Tabatha is home. I'm sad to hear that she was in such poor condition, but look on the bright side. Things like that heal in time; the loss of a dog stays with you forever. I'm glad you found her! Hugs. This has also happened to us too, izzy. Don't feel like a bad owner!! K got out about 6 months ago because a neighbourhood kid let her out (we haven't found out who as of yet...) She was missing for 5 hours before she trotted home, unharmed, and with a happy-go-lucky look on her face. What I'm saying here is that they usually know their way home. Thank Dog!

Happy Birthday Bailey! I hope you have a lovely day and mommy gets you the present you've been hoping for. :)
I am only attracted to tall men, 6'4" is a nice size....makes the kissing, errr, interesting.
Tell me about it! I used to always go for the guys that were a lot taller than I was. My ex-fianc

Your dogs are beautiful. But what Corgi isn't? :) Would one of you mind answering some more of my Corgi questions? I have been looking into getting another pooch and I'm really starting to believe that the Corgi is for me. I'd just like your opinions, if you don't mind.

How exciting! I know you've been waiting for what seemed like a century to get him...but he'll be yours soon. "Good things come to those who wait." 8) Yahoo! Good luck with him - we want pictures as soon as you can. :)

I'm 5'4"...my dad is around 5'8" and my mom is 5'9" on the dot. Naturally, my dad won't let my mom wear heels because he doesn't want her to be taller than he is. In heels, I'm around 5'5"...and Kevin is between 5'6 and 5'7" so we usually run into a problem if I wear a big heel.

What a tearjerker. I especially loved the pictures where the dogs were being petted and kissed, it showed how much their owners and partners appreciated what they were doing. Even the photo where George W. Bush is scratching the dog's chin made me tear up. A very wonderful tribute.
-
Hi there, we've never met but I wanted to say that your dogs are very beautiful. :loveu: Rayne is so adorable, give her a smooch on that cute little nose for me!

The weather woman said this morning that here there would be "a fourty percent chance of rain". She spoke those words as we drove threw the rain, some one should have told her it was now a 100% chance... My thoughts and prayers are also with those who are in either hurricanes way. Hugs and I will be thinking of you.
-
Whoa, talk about being in the right place at the right time. :o Great job, Kat! :)
-
What a cutie! I think he looks like a Bernese Mountain Dog/Lab mix. How tall is he? Sorry to hear that he was positive. :(
-
Eek, have I ever told you guys how scared I am of gators? I have this terrible fear of them and now that I see that I think I've now been scarred for life. :o That is one HUGE gator! :-?
-
That's hilarious! You better watch out, some irresponsible commercial breeder is going to come to this site and see this picture then start a new breed called "Poopicks". There will be adds before you know it for "dogs that can pick up their own poo". Some of the poor shlobs out there are going to think they hit the jackpot.

Don't sweat it. Like everyone else has previously said, the time will pass quickly. It seems like a lot right now, but before you know it you'll be cuddling with your new sweetie. :)
-
 That is too funny. I wish we had these here in Canada!

I know I promised this a long, long time ago but I haven't had the time to post a message that would do my business justice. My apologies, I'm going to try my best and keep you guys posted regularly. Things have been a little slow lately because a few of our clients have gone away with their dogs. I suppose it will be great for the dogs, but bad for us. My favorite pooch will be away in British Columbia until mid-September. :( I am not one to pick favorites so you guys know she must be special. Her name is Hailey and she is an All-Canadian Mutt. She really is a mystery. If anyone wants to guess what she is, please do. Hailey says, "What are you pointing that THING at me for? I was sleeping." "Let me be! I'm a sleepy puppy girl!" (This picture came out weirdly tinted, I dunno why. Sorry guys.) Next up on my favorites list is Dexter. This little baby is a doxie. He is just the sweetest little guy - he melts my heart!! When it was only him left once, I went on the computer to see what you guys were up to. Dexter comes over to me, barks once, and then just stares at me. I didn't realize that this was a plot to get my attention. He's sooo cute! "What's THAT?!" comfy Dex says, raising an ear ;). I have a few other favorites I've been trying to get pictures of. I'll try this week and next week to get some. Please be patient with me!!

I agree with HF, Pumpkin, and sasha. If Kyra did not know how to behave around children, I would not show up at a Toys'R'Us and expose her to them. It's commonsense really - you go to a dog store, there are going to be dogs there. If your child doesn't know how to properly treat a dog, they should not be in a pet store. It's a dog's domain, not a kid's. It was made for doggies and other critters! Starfox, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with your pooch at PetsMart. :( Unfortunately, I think we've all had one or two in our lives LOL. Some kids just run wild while their parents stand off to the side and daydream.
