  1. :Dog_run: Re-Run is 11.8 2.1 years younger than the average for his breed :D I must be doing something right.
  2. :Dog_run: :bigcry: :bigcry: I have to go see Re-Run now!!! Paula & Re-Run
  3. :Dog_run: Sounds like you are changing her food too quickly. Any sudden changes in your pups diet will give a her diarrhea. Mix the old and new food for the first few days by gradually decreasing the old and increasing the new. The only time Re-Run has problems is when I switch too fast. If your pup was tested for worms than that should be the problem. Hope this helps & good luck. Paula & Re-Run
  4. :Dog_run:  Way to go Sassy!!! Paula & Re-Run
  5. :Dog_run: I am so glad to hear that my dog is not the only dog out there who does that. I thought he had bad manners, guess he's just being a dog. Paula & Re-Run
  6. :Dog_run: LOL!! Good thing Re-Run didn't see that befor his last vet appt. Paula & Re-Run
  7. :Dog_run: Re-Run would be afraid of it. If he did get used to it, it would be in a million pieces. I'll have to tell my ex about the tents, he's been looking for one. Paula & Re-Run
  8. :Dog_run: WOW! How scary!! I try to take Re-Runs collar off but if the dog catcher comes around and he has no collar they will take him. They can be real jerks around this area and I wouldn't put it past them to not even see if they are chipped or not. I know they make breakaway collars for cats, do they make them for dogs?? When they are not being walked, it might be the way to go. Paula & Re-Run
  9. :Dog_run: Well, to occupy our time we have decided to start remodeling. We are painting and putting in new flooring. I finally finished putting the second coat of paint on and was putting things away when Scott yelled that there was already dog hair on the new paint. UGH!!! I'm thinking a few hairs, just pull them off. Well there sits Re-Run with a very hurt paw and low and behold my black dog now has his entire butt covered with bright white paint . It's kind of wrapped around some too so he must have turned around in there. Paint dries very quickly on dogs and I am having problems getting it off. Of course he has his vet appointment today so maybe he will have advice on how to get it off. If not, summer is coming and he should blow his coat. As for the wall, well my kids are learning new words. Paula & Re-Run
  10. :Dog_run: I missed it!! I was busy watching a play off game and only saw the last 10 minutes of it. Apparently I missed alot. From the sounds of it they thought nothing wrong with breeding all these new mutts (no offense, I loved all my mutts very much). I had to laugh, in our paper today I saw an ad for purebred labrodoodles starting at $1,500. Purebred? Is that possible? I also saw somewhere that AKC is going to recognize the breed soon. They apparently want the membership fees. I am so glad that I didn't send in Re-Runs papers, I knew that he would be neutered so why bother. Now I'm glad I have no connection to AKC, they can keep their meaningless piece of paper and get money from someone else.   Paula & Paperless Re-Run
  11. :Dog_run: So someone saw Designer Dogs. I was watching a playoff game and didn't see get to see it. I wondered how they would portray these new breed of mutts. I was hoping they would say how it would only add to the homeless dog situation, guess I should have known better. A radio station will be talking about designer dogs on Monday, guess who will be calling them and giving them an earfull!!!!!!! Paula & Re-Run
  12. :Dog_run:  Paula & Re-Run
  13. :Dog_run: :( That is so sad. The poor little guy. I'll add him to the prayer list  Paula & Re-Run
  14. :Dog_run: :o :o I think I know a few people to e-mail that to. Yes, I will also boldly put my name on it.
  15. :Dog_run: Yes Edgar, good post. I agree completely. OK. I really wasn't prepared for all of these responses, I was just hoping to get some cute stories of our best friends. I don't want to appear rude but can we get back to it? I have really enjoyed the posts already received on it. Paula & Re-Run
  16. :Dog_run: I don't know if I agree with what guest had to say. Re-Run's paw was very badly injured before I was able to in the living room. Could possibly he knew from past experience :P All I know is that he uses it to the hilt :D
  17. :Dog_run: I cannot believe what I just heard on TV. The National Geographic Channel will be airing a program on Sunday at 9:00pm, I think, maybe 8:00 called Designer Dogs. I have heard about it but didn't think much of it, after all they are making what we all know are mutts. I've owned several mutts and they are wonderful but now they are glorifying it and calling them Designer Dogs. Sounds like potential puppy mill fuel. This is so wrong!!!! I am mad they would air something like that :x Paula & Re-Run
  18. :Dog_run: Re-Run once ate an entire stick of butter. Oh what fun!! Fortunately it was summer and we just let him outside. The vet said most should come right back up and it did. What didn't came out the next day and I do believe it was through the eye of a needle. I can definately sympathize with you!!
  19. :Dog_run: That was too funny :D I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard. :haha: Paula
  20. :Dog_run: After seeing "The smirk" I realized Re-Run pretends to have a hurt paw when he does something bad. I came back in the house last week after taking the kids to the bus and there was Re-Run sitting by the door with one paw in the air like it was hurt. In the living room there was dirt from the plants everywhere. It looked like he had a dirt throwing contest while I was gone. It's hard to scold a dog when they look like they are hurt. Was curious, does anyone else have a dog that gives themselves away when their bad. So far we have the smirk and hurt paw. Who wants to add to it??? Paula
  21. :Dog_run: I agree with DAL, that is too cute!!
  22. :Dog_run: Signature # 150. :D Let's keep it up!!
  23. :Dog_run: Poor Rowie. Give her a hug from me and a lick from Re-Run. How awful! I agree, check the contract in detail, this is very serious. Paula & Re-Run
  24. :Dog_run: Hmmmmm So I guess giving Re-Run 2-3 grapes per week will not harm him. That is one of his favorite treats, well aside from pupperonies, but pupperonies are only for special occasions. After all, I can't live without chocolate and Fritos so I guess I won't ask him to go without junk food. Hey, we all gotta have a few pleasures in life. Paula & Re-Run
  25. :Dog_run: I think it's wonderful you are willing to volunteer your time to a shelter!!!!    What an angle you are!! Paula & Re-Run
