1. I love to dress Abs up! I usually do it for Halloween. Some people think it's mean to dress dogs up, but Ab doesn't mind because she gets lots of treats!!!! :) Here's some pictures: Here's Abby dressed up as Emeinem    Here she is in a Corona Light t-shirt I found....... can't imagine where we got that.......   Hula Abby! :D

4. Yay! :B-fly: Congrats to u and Patti! :BIG:
5. I'd like to try ski-jouring this year. :D If, the snow is deep enough, then just taking the dog on a walk usually will get them tired. Since they sink in the snow, they basically have to jump around to get where they want to go.  For some dogs that doesn't work though, because some can walk on top of the snow. :)
6. Awsome idea Aroura! But don't for get those puppy millers, they need to suffer BIG time.....
7. Okay, I can help with the agility part! :D Agility is a great thing to do with your dog, it really will stregthen your bond. :D A great book to take a look at is Introduction to Dog Agility by Margaret H. Bonham. I ordered it off Amazon, and it came within a couple weeks. It's a great book, full of nice color photos. Plus lots of great info. :D Some good web sites are: http://www.dogpatch.org/agility/ http://www.cleanrun.com If u have any specific questions u want to ask me, I'd be more than happy to help. :D
8. Welcome back!!! :D :D :D The scenery is absolutly gorgous! :o :D :D :D Looks like fun! :D
9. :D That's great! Sounds like u are just the person for a border collie! :D Goodluck in your search! :D :D :D
10. I agree with Angel. :D Have u done your research on this breed? They are very high energy, and need at least two 1 hr walks everyday, and need something to put there mind to. To may border collies end up in rescue each year because people can handle their energy level, or how smart they are. They need something to put their mind to other wise they become destructive. Please know what u are getting yourself into, and good luck! :)
11. Now I'm not sure what to do. :-? Like Aroura said, I have to look for the warning signs of a fight and prevent it from happening before it starts, for the saftey of the dogs. I really believe in pack order amongst dogs, but in my case, I'm not sure if it's gonna happen. I'm sorta leaning towards trying it the way Aroura suggested, and see how it works out. As for what u suggested Shannon, I think the having each dog have it's own "room" thing sounds like a good idea. The reason I let Abby sleep on my bed was because it helped me get to sleep. If u read my previous threads, u'll see where I explained that. :) I think though, that I'll begin slowly "weaning" Abby off of the bed at night, and eventually out of the room and into her own "room". :) Although she has never showed any dominace over me, I think having each dog in it's own room at night might help settle things. So, this is what I'll be doing, putting each dog it's room when I go to bed, or when I leave. Varie-ing who is fed first, and who I say hi to first when I get home. Spending equal amount of time with each dog, try too elemanate any jeolusy. Is there any thing wrong with this plan? I'm still open to suggestions, so feel free to tell me. :) If this does not work, then I'm gonna let them work it out amongst themselves, and they can choose who's alpha. Thanks for all the good lucks' I'm gonna need it.......... :)
12. That's awful. :( And it's just more bad press on the pittie, ANY breed of dog can hurt a child, and the parents should have known not to leave the child alone with a dog. Whether it be a pit bull or a lab. :( :( :(
13. Aw! :iloveyou: Congrats on your new fur baby!!!!!!!! :D What a sweetie..... :loveu:

18. Abs attacked Cracker today. :( Let me start from last time I updated u all.... Just a couple weeks after my last update, Cracker and Abby played for the first time in several months. I was so happy. :) But still when they are playing, Cracker seems to be the one trying to be dominant. She trys to jump on Abby alot. When they are lying down, if Ab gets up she immediatly gets up also. :-? I don't know what to make of it. I've had them eating in seperate rooms, and been giving Abby all the 'firsts' But Cracker seems to want to be dominant. :o :x :-? I find this odd. An example is when I go to let them outside, she tries to get infront of Abby at the door. Today they started to play again, I was at the comp. They had been playing peacefully for a minute, then I heard Abby 'go off' (for lack of a better word) She quickly let go when I yelled at here, and now is confined to the bathroom. Cracker wasn't to shaken, mostly because Ab only had her for a second. U all have been very helpful on this subject before, so thanks in advance.
19. YAY! :B-fly: What great news!!!!!! :D :bday:
20. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
21. I've been following this thread, and I just want to say, thank you for u're last post Hollywood. In u're last post u were not mad, did not make any rude comments, and actually it seems as if u understand our point of view a little better. I'm hoping that we can drop this topic soon, we've all heard each others point of views, and I think it's time to let it go. :)

25. Those are great! Every animal shelter should use that. :)
Press 33 if your dog's coat doesn't match your new furniture and you need a different colour or breed.
This has actually happened! On animal planet they have that show called "Pet Story". Well they asked a shelter volunteer what the stupidest reason he had had someone give him for surrendering a dog. He said that he had a lady come in one day a drop of a apricot poodle, because she had gotten new furniture, and it didn't match. :o
