1. I agree wholeheartedly with Shara, I don't think the tiger ment to hurt him at all. He was just trying to help him. :-? If the tiger is PTS I'm gonna be really upset. :x  :x Shara: Those Tasmanian Tiger/Wolves are really cool, and sorta wierd looking. :o That is really freaky: :o
2. Hmmm....... :hmmmm: I've watched the show on numerous occasions, the only dog I can think it might be is their Japenese Chin, but I'm sure it would say on their webpage........ :-?
3. I agree with all the above posts, although it's good they are protective, they should be taught to contain it when u say the person is okay. :-?

6.   Today I went out to work on agility, and I didn't feel like dragging out all the euipment, so I just set up a bar jump and figured I'd work on heel work and go out, simple stuff like that. Well, there's this border collie/collie mix that lives in the house behind us, named Kudo. He doesn't look anything like a collie, just a border collie with a little more hair. His owner came out and asked if I'd mind if Kudo came over to work on the agility euipment. So I'm like sure, and he comes over after I put Abby in the pen. So after he worked for awile, I let Abs say hello. They were GREAT together!!!!!!!!! They ran around playin' together, and Kudo even humped Abby!     I couldn't help but break out laughin' poor Abs lost that ability a llllooooooonnnnnngggg time ago, as did Kudo. :roflt: It was so cool! (Abs is dog aggresive, and it usually takes awhile before she will "accept" other dogs) So I invited Kudo and his owner back over tommorow to practice, and of course he can play with Abby. I'll get some pics of them together tommorow, they're the perfect doggie couple... LOL!!!!!! :roflt: I just had to tell ya'll....... LOL................
7. Can't wait to see pics!!!!!!! I'm sure u'll have a great time! Dog shows are wonderful, all the people are usually very helpful, the last one I went to I learned a lot!!!!! :D :D
8. Good Luck to both u and Cassie!!!!!! :D :D :D
9. I'd like to own a deaf Dalmation or Aussie someday and try to train it in agility. :D There are a lot of deaf dogs out there who need good homes, and I'd love to rescue one when I'm older......... :D
10.
Not all Apbt's are big headed and fat dogs. Those dogs are actually the original Apbt's and what they originally looked like. most probably are fighting dogs but that is the way the are tested and preserved down through the years. The SDJ was shut down, the dogs were seized but as far as I have heard the acutal owner did not fight them he bred them. Anyways Apbt's are lean dogs the working or gamebred Apbt's look a lot like greyhounds but the backbones and hip bones should never be showing Show Apbt's are generally Heaviaer and have a bulkier appearance they are ususally a little over weight as the judges like them that way.
Thanks for bringing this up, but don't worry I love the APBT and have done lots of research on them. I did know this already, but it's still a good point. I'm glad the place was shut down though. Where did u get the info that they had shut down, and that the man who was breeding them wasn't fighting them? Just curious..... :D
11. :B-fly: Whoo-hoo go Cody!!!!!! :B-fly: What a smart lil' guy, give em' a cuddle from me! I agree with Rowie, why don't u try training Zoey with this trainer? :D
he was so cute. get this. they named him d-o-g ( pronounced deeogee)
:cunao: LOL!!!!!!!! :cunao:
anyways i forgot the camera. i know bad mom. but iw ill tkae it on saturdeay
:nono: Don't forget it this time, I wanna see some piccies! :D
12. Yay! :D The person sounds like a great adopter for Charlie! :banan:
13. Wow. :o I never knew that they had a purpose either, this is all new to me. The comment made by Courtnek that they were for field dogs/agility dogs makes sense though. :) When we got Abs, they were removed when she was neutered. The vet said that the nail would grow in a circle and then pierce her skin. I at the time didn't know that I would be training Abby in agility, plus didn't know that they were of any use, so agreed to have them removed. :-? Now I dunno what I shoulda done. I can't remember if they were on her front or back feet though, all I know is they were only on two feet. :-? I'll have to ask around next time I go to an agility trial, and see if any of the competitors left their dog's on. :-?
14. Oh! I forgot my girls middle names! Abby is Abby Marie(or Abigail Marie, what my mom prefers to call her cause she's so prissy and walks around like she's at a show all the time    ) And Cracker is Cracker Leigh....... :D Great topic! I love hearing all these cutie nick-names, and I've written a song for my pups to, but usually I just sing them "You are my sunshine" song........
15. The link didn't work for me, and I'd like to know more about this.......
16. Actually I ment like these sorta names:
Sourires Maya of Hillside Sourires Belle of Hillside Sourires DJ of Hillside Sourires Payton of Hillside Sourires Emmika of Hillside Sourires Mozer of Hillside Sourires Rayn of Hillside Sourires Charley of Hillside
Just incase some of u didn't understand, it's my mistake        .......... But I did enjoy hearing all the different names! They're all very pretty!!!!!!! :D
17. Now I'm not real sure how kennel names work, but from what I've been able to figure out, mixes usually don't have one, just cause they're mixed. (And usually rescued, parents unknown, ect.) so I thought it would be fun to make up kennel names for our pups that are mixes! :D (And also if someone could explain kennel names to me, that would be really helpful  ) I haven't made up one for Cracker yet, and I'm between names on Abby's......... :)
18.
OHHHH BEAN! I call my dogs that too! Thanks for reminding me
Your welcome.... LOL I thought I was the only one who called thier dogs that, but I love the name, LOL it suits her.......
19. Great topic! Abby got here name just cause' I liked it. :) Abs' nicknames: butthead, bean, pie, stoogle, baby girl, little girl, and cuddles. Cracker got here name because I was little when I named her and I didn't know any better. (I don't like Cracker's name at all) I named her that cause' she was kinda colored like a cracker. :o  Cracker's nicknames: Puffhead
20. At the the Walk for the Animals about a month ago, before we started the walk a minister came and said the blessing of the animals, and said that he was available to bless pets, u just had to call him and make an appiontment. I'd like to have done it, but now I've lost his number. :( Maybe someday though, I definatly think it's a good idea! :D
21. :x Ugh, I new this place looked bad. :x Those poor dogs, at least they were siezed grom the property. :( Now they can run free at the Rainbow Bridge. (I doubt if the SPCA would have let them be adopted out :x :( )
22. Congrats on your new addition! :D :D I can't wait to see piccies!!!!!!! :D I'm not really sure what to tell u about him picking on Lily, but I'm sure someone here can help.... :D
23. I like the names Hayley Kylie Annabelle :D That's all I can think of right now. Goodluck on getting your new pup! We'll need to see lots of pics ya know....... :D
24. I don't like the look of this place. :-? If u look at the pictures, almost all the dogs are chained up outside. :-? What do u think? http://www.sporting-dog.com/

Barking! (Help!)

Have u tried the shake can? Just put a couple coins in a tin can, and when she barks, shake it. It sounds like nails being scratched down a chalk board to them. I personally would use it as a last resort, because it's not very "positive" reinforcement, but it does work well. Good luck. :)
