Sounds like u and Cody had a blast! :D I'm sure it was good that everyone got to see that a deaf doggie can do things just like normal dogs! :D :D :D Next time u have to get pics!!!!!! :D :D :D What kind of dogs were there at the class? It's always fun to see the different breeds. :D

   NiftyJulia, who I presume owns Woofit, is seriously considering closing the site!   I host almost all of my pics there, the site is really reliable, and I don't know where I'll host my piccies if she shuts it down!   Imagestation isn't very reliable, and I really like Woofit better. :( Anyone who uses Woofit, please help me convince her not to shut the site down! :(
My ex has a manx (tailess cat) and while looking up some info for him I found out that you cant breed the tailess ones for more than 5 generations...they should be bred with tailed ones to prevent a recessive gene issue that can kill them by the fifth generation...I didnt even know there were tailed ones!!
Whoa, that is weird! :o I've never heard that before........ :o

Ah, okay thanks. :D

Aw, poor Laurel. Sending hugs and kisses her way...... :calus: Oh, I've been meaning to ask u Courtnek, is Laurel a English or American foxhound? :D
-
I'm with Courtnek here. I'd like to know as well. Is the deafness a fault of the breeding? I was wondering why any breeder would deliberately take the chance of deaf pups when they plan their litters? Or is it just an accident? I am curious about the circumstances of the deafness.
Deafness is a fault, from what I understand. I certainly hope no breeder tries to breed deaf Aussies. :o :-? When there is two merels bred together, it usually results in deaf puppies. There are so many BYB's out there, that don't know this, that when they breed thier two merle dogs, they get deaf pups and the pups usually end up in rescue. There are many many deaf dogs out there in need of adoption because of this. I hope that anwsers u're question...... DAL can probably explain better...........

Ugh!!!!!!! My dad makes me so mad!!!!!!!!    He says that the tiger was taking him back stage to eat him.     And that the reason he didn't kill Roy right away was because the tiger wasn't raised in the wild.       He read this some article by a guy he probably didn't know what the f*** he was talkin' about. OMG, will somebody please help me knock some sense into him(my dad)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:o I think u're barking up the wrong tree here, most everyone at this forum doesn't believe in breeding "designer dogs". :o I'm confused as to what we're suppposed to say to this post......
AND, since you want a Tri-color it may take a LONG time to find since this is NOT a popular color for the breed. Is a Liver and White not an option? Also when you say Tri colored, do you mean TRUE tri colored (BLACK, Tan(or orange) and White) or do you mean a Liver Tri? (Liver, Tan(or orange) and White.)
:o I didn't even know there was such thing as a tri-colored Brittany. :o Anyone got a pic, I'd like to see one.
-
Good luck on u're search! Brittany's are beautiful dogs, there was a brown and white one in my agility class. :D He was very obediant, but when on the course he had a tendencey to wander off, and not pay attention. :( U know u'll have to post lots of puppy pics..... Keep us updated!

:( Both Abby and Cracker are going crazy itching themselves! :-? :x :( Cracker is on steriods for her allergies, and it usually helps the itching, but now it's not working! We also give her Benedryl, but that's not working either! :( My question is, is it okay to give Abby Benadryl to? She's never had to use it before, so I just want to check with ya'll first. She is almost the exact wieght Cracker is, so we'd giver her the amount of medicine that Cracker gets. I'm already trying to convince my parents to take them to the vet, and if the itching persists, than I know they will. :-? Thanks ahead of time for any help........ :)
