9. No Behle, a long sniff here and a long sniff there and after she's sniffed she wee's over it. I've never known a dog to have so many widdles on a short walk. SNIFF, WIDDLE, SNIFF, WIDDLE, SNIFF, WIDDLE you get the picture. :D :D :D
10. GO TO THE TOP OF THE CLASS ROWIE :D Yes she is a chihuahua mix, but don't ask me with what.
11. Was that because they didn't want to get wet Mouse or because you didn't. :D :D Maybe both
12. Thought I'd post a pic of my other lovely girl. Cleo is my mum's dog, she is 13 years old but can run like the wind when I take her out. :) She should of been a sniffer dog, she lags behind because of her sniffing then looks up finds I'm miles away then comes running across the field to catch me up. Seeing her little body zooming along is funny, it's a beautiful sight and I never get tired of watching her. When I went on Friday evening it was pouring down, I put her coat on and we only got to the corner and she legged it back home. Ungrateful or what, there was I willing to get wet so she could have her walkies and she didn't want to know. 13. Oh poor Coal, don't you feel awful when that happens. :( Only last week I was sat at the dining room table and Ruby was lay beside me on the floor, I went to cross one leg over the other and accidentally kicked her in the eye. :( She jumped up and her eye was shut, I felt so guilty, lots of hugs and kisses anyway she was okay. Then later I was sat on the couch and didn't know she was lay along the front, I got up and stood on her tail :-? OUCH. Then Dad dropped the tv remote on her head. Poor Ruby, all happened on the same night, she really was in the wars. She still loves us though.
14. Shara, checked your pics out HE'S ADORABLE  :P :D  :P :D GOOD LUCK AND HAPPINESS :D :D :D :D :D :D
15. Yeah, she couldn't send it till Tuesday so she'll take it on Tuesday. I was only joking with the picture, that was taken in the very early hours of a Sunday morning when Rosie was sat next to me on the couch while I watched the final of the mens US Open (tennis mad you see). Rosie's okay in herself, and actually we think she's lost a little bit of weight since we cut her treats down. It's just that I'd like her to be more active (although we have noticed the past week that she has been doing a bit more running on the heath than usual (maybe the slight weight loss). But if she does have thyroid problems I want to know then we can deal with it.
16. Snowpaws, can you imagine this running on a treadmill. I DON'T THINK SO :( :D :( :D :( :D
17. Me too Bronxie, the world would be a better place. :D :D :D
18. Dad lets Ruby lick his bellybutton (GROSS). He's sat on the couch and she pulls his shirt out and nudges it up with her nose then licks his bellybutton. She also likes having her bottom scratched, as before, near the tail and she also sticks her bum in your face as if to say "DO IT NOW". Rosie also likes having her bottom scratched but she's not as pushy. I massage their heads, backs and legs. I've also just been crawling round like a madwoman on the bedroom floor playing hide and seek (LUNATIC), Rosie loves this, if you put your head between your arms she pushes her head down and bum up and snuggles her way in. Rosie also likes to put your nose in her mouth, she doesn't bite. Dad bites her nose then she does his. She also likes to pinch his hat off his head when he comes in from work, or the gloves out of his pocket. He actually puts his hat on just so she can take if off. WE'RE ALL MAD :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D My mums dog likes to lick her feet which makes me feel sick, luckily our two have never attempted that.
19. No, Iv'e cut her treats right down. She has a small biscuit in the morning and one at night. I also trim all the fat from their meat so that is lean. If it's not her thyroid I don't know what else to do (I can't starve the poor girl). I'll have to get her a treadmill and put her on a running program. :D
20. I know mouse, she's only gone like this in the past 10-12 months. Although saying that she has been running on the Heath this week. But she should still be more active generally than she is. I'm convinced she's got thyroid problems. If not I'll look at other alternatives. Sometimes I think it's because she knows where she is. If we take her to the beach or Three Sisters she tends to keep up with us and sometimes goes in front (doesn't let us out of her sight) . Where as here she'll dilly dally and go in her own time because she knows where home is.
21. She was 4 on 16 April.
22. Apparently she's put on 5 kilo's since last year. There is nothing wrong with her generally, she's eating (obviously), drinking and happy. It's just that she's gotten rather lazy, she doesn't want to go walkies etc. I have been cutting her treats down the past few months and reduced her main meal but it hasn't made any difference. After doing a bit of research on the net I realised she could have Hypothyroidism, apparently it's common in her breed and she has some of the symtoms. The vet couldn't do her blood test today because it's Bank Holiday on Monday. She checked her over and said everything was fine. When dad got home he had antibiotics, so I said "what has she given you those for then" and he said "just in case". This has made me so angry because they are just trying to get money out of you for nothing. If Rosie's temperature and everything was fine, which is what she said why has she fobbed him off with antibiotics "just in case". JUST IN CASE OF WHAT EXACTLY. Anyway she's having the blood test on Tuesday. She was also advising him on what to feed Rosie. As they don't cover nutrition in vet school and they are always trying to sell their own stuff he wisely ignored this. I have done enough reading and research in the past four years to know what to feed and what not to feed my dogs. They are both healthy dogs with healthy coats but I just want Rosie to be more active. I know English aren't as active as Irish (they go through their whole lives being puppies) but she should be more active than she is and I just want to know if there is a reason. It might be that she's just bone idle, although she soon moves if there's a treat on offer. Anyway we'll know soon enough. :D
23. Wish Rosie luck tonight, she's going to the vets for a blood test to see if she has thyroid problems. :-? She HATES the vets, she'll be quivering and shaking and we'll have to drag her in. "Poor Rosie" :( Sorry haven't been on very much past few days but not been feeling brill myself. :(
24. :D YIPPEE! :D
25. K: No you don't have to do it. As with all addictions, the person has got to admit they've got a problem. Well, I don't think anyone here has a problem, DO YOU! Crested: I have my spies everywhere :o I've also just had a week in a cottage without a computer, I survived, JUST!
