I was totally unfamiliar with this breed and if you hadn't mentioned it I would have been worried about how thin they were. That's what I love about this board - always learning new bits and pieces about different breeds.

It's not so much the shipping, because that small it's shouldn't be too bad. It's the exchange rate that kills me. The double header hangy thing I want is US $81, thats approx AUD $140 give or take a bit.

Oh I'm sorry you have to keep going through such heartache just to find a new dog. Think of it this way; this is just the short term, when you find that right dog it will be for the long term.

This may just be fate stepping in. I thought it was totally unreasonable for you to get turned down for those other dogs.... though maybe it was for a reason. This girl may need you which is why the others didn't work out.

Thanks guys, BK, I'm not much of a baker so don't think the cake will be happening (I don't even bake for us) but we will be off to the pet shop a bit later to buy lots of new toys and some tastey doggie treats from there. He really has grown soooo much, I just cant get over it. Wow, how cool. I would go with the earings too as you can wear them more often. I got given a gorgeous pair of diamond earings as a present a few years ago and I still wear them every day (they never go out of fashion), I have never bought another pair of earings since.
