Thier metabolism does change, but it is easy enough to correct. Feed a good food, but not too much and provide him with exercise. Getting him neutered sooner rather than later should make it easier to control his weight too.

DalmatiAns aren't a giant breed either. (Sorry to nitpick, but I hate seeing Dalmatian spelled wrong, my personal pet peeve. :wink: ) I wondered about the odd breed turning up too, I never knew a Boston Terrier was considered a LARGE dog. :lol:

Well on my first one I got : GSD Dobie Rottie and Rhodesian Ridgeback then I changed ONE answer and got: Dobie Smooth Collie Dalmatian and Boston Terrier I think this is the first quiz that actually gave me MY breed. :roll:

Shara, neutering is a all inclusive term for desexing an animal. It applies to males and females. The term spay is just another term for neutering a female animal.

I think it looks a bit like a Black and Tan Coonhound. Can't really see the ears too well though, but body and coloration wise it looks like it.

You aren't alone Ms Starfox. I do it too. Often. Though the other day Ryan had to point out a Dalmatian to me seeing as I was too busy notcing an Airedale that was barking and straining at the leash at a bunch of mini horses and Illamas that were in somebody's yard. :oops:
