Nice website for just something that you "threw together". Really, nice.
Always liked that one Hobbit!!
for every action, there is an equal or opposite reaction.

Yep, me too. And it works with EVERY aspect of life. You grab (action) the dog, he either stops (equal) or bites (reaction) you.

Housing facility is not talking about YOUR house. It is talking about a place where the animals are kept. Like a large kennel (some kennels have a very nice building with an apartment inside). The dogs come inside a building to eat and sleep and then have access to a run. This provision is in place so that a person can not keep a dozen or so dogs in his place of business (which isn't really a business)...it's just a cluttered place to keep more of the puppy mill dogs. Personally, I see nothing wrong with the USDA rule and regs. Knowing gov't entities like I do, there are not enough inspectors to go around, there are a dozen or so loopholes, it depends tremendously on who is in office (including Senators, Congress, President and other influential politicians) and the first time someone sues.....it will be all changed. If you do not like the rules and reg's then do something about it. Start writing letters to your representatives. If you do not want to take the time to try to change it....then don't bitch about it. But, be very careful what you DO change, because for every action, there is an equal or opposite reaction.

I have to agree with Mei-Mei and Newfiemom. A true dominant dog doesn't need any reason to be more sure of himself. I think it should be a case by case senario as to which dog can and which shouldn't. Then on the other hand, no too many people could make that decision.

Some puppies will eat fast so they get back to playing. Sometimes, it's because they aren't getting enough food, or it's been a long time inbetween meals and they are hungry. We have some pups that are 5 months old, too. They do much better at eating if they are fed morning, noon, and late afternoon. I know you are in school and probably can't do this, but it helped our pups. With this schedule, they don't frantically eat.

Okay, just dig a hole underneath the fence and let her go free. Then .... evil laugh .....just pick her up and SHE'S YOURS! Sorry, couldn't help myself. Sometimes, you just have to think EVIL! -
If you read the USDA rules, your house, would contain to many "contaminates" or dangers to the dogs. As for "good" for the breeding more then seven litters a year, classifies you as a high volume...wake up and smell some reality. Some people being classified as this DON'T even BREED dogs. they simply have their names as "co-owner" on several dogs...usually to help with the carreer of a dog being shown. Many of the top kennels out there, will be classified as HVB....you might be suprised to find out who.
AGAIN --- POST THE WEBSITE ADDRESS SO THIS CAN BE READ!

Do you know that under EVERY single chair in the court room was a very expensive gift from Oprah? YES, there were. AND did you know that somehow.....just somehow....EVERY person in the court room, and I mean EVERY person received expensive gifts, gift certificates, etc... Oh yeah, she BOUGHT her way out of that one. I am just appauled at the millions of people who watch and buy her crap on a daily basis. If it didn't benefit her, do you think she'd be that nice.......h e l l NO she wouldn't. :evilbat: EVIL PERSON.......
Yes. I already explained on the previous page of this thread that I home feed my dog. My cats prefer kibble, unfortunately. My dog is Parker, you can see him in the thread "Parker Puppy" in the pictures forum.
There are so many members on here that it is hard to keep up with who has what. It was a simple question (I think we have a personality clash), but now that you have jogged my memory with "Parker" .... I DO remember that you have a dog.
The dog need not even be homozygous for a trait to select for it, especially if it is an autosonomal dominant trait.
In order to "fix" the gene, it must be homozygous.

:-? Roo.....way too cute!!
I'm really impressed with the Natural Balance. It's a really good price, and I know quite a few dogs who are doing great on it. My cats eat the kitty line and are looking great. If I were ever to need to feed kibble, this would be the one!
Do you have a dog?

Actually, now that I think about it.....if he REMOVED the fence, it could actually be theft (depending on the cost of the original fence -- could be a felony). An offense of "Destruction of private property", also.
