YAHOOO ROSEBUD!! :banan:  :B-fly:  I would have given you the famous Rowie dance, but the program isn't working! So I'll give you these instead! :D
2. If you ever have any problems with pictures, the best person to ask is Mouse! :D Good Luck searching! :)
3. LOL! I know, after I read my post(I always read my posts after posting them!) I started laughing! This always happens, when something bad or embarrassing happens to me, I always laugh after a while!
4.
:D Actually this particular dream has me a little worried. I actually have dreamed about things that have come true and the dog that she got with is a dog I would actually love to breed her to.
Rosebud, I have that freaky kind of 6th sense too! :o Once, I had a feeling we where going to see a dead cat on the road, several seconds later, there is a dead cat on the road, and the exact same color that I thought it would be! I also dream stuff that also come true! :o Hey, maybe one day we could use our powers to save the homeless animals or something like that! Once I dreamt that I went into the kitchen, and thier was Rowie, near the oven, with a litter of puppies! :o Then, after about 2 weeks, I dreamt that I was inside looking out of the window, and thier was Rowie in the garden, with a litter of about 1 month old puppies! All Goldens! :o That had me freaked out! Thankfully, she is desexed. Be carefull with Sally-Rose Rosebud! Keep a sharp eye on her!
5.
Oh and everyone has seemed to mention all the other costs - worming, vaccination, registering all the pups, stud fees. Does she have papers? I'd have her spayed - I know how much of a hard decision it is, having made it myself. I paid big $$ for Lily, she has champion bloodlines and even the breeder who sold her to me said she'd love to see Lily have a litter of pups under her supervision (she wanted to be sure I picked the best stud etc). As it turned out, Lily picked up a few aggression problems, and that, coupled with the realization that even though I could sell each pup for close to $1000 I still couldn't afford to breed her, I had to make the hard decision to desex her. Besides, if you think her vulvas and titties are big now, wait till she has a litter! I don't really like the sounds of it when I hear people say that they want to see "just one litter"... to me that sounds that they are breeding for their own reasons, other than that they have a perfect dog that will produce excellent pups. I find in most cases it is a case of people want to see a litter of gorgeous little pups running around their house, which indeed is very indeering.... until you think of those pups sitting in the pound a year later about to be put down, or with scars of abuse chained up in somebodys yard, just because someone wanted to see "just one litter" from their darling dog. I'm not putting you down at all, I'm just saying that there is ALOT to think about before deciding to breed a dog, and if you do think it is still worth breeding, try to gain her a champion title first, if she's not good enough for that she's probably not good enough to be bred from.
I agree! Does anybody have that virtual breeding site? After I looked at it I was SURE I would NEVER breed! :o My friend once bred her Dalmation(thier really popular and common here). I asked her a million times not to, told her what could happen, showed her sites, even showed her Dogo! But she wouldn't listen, she said her dog was "Pure Bred" and that she deserved to have pups! :x I asked her if she ever had her dog checked at the vets, she said no. My friend was ONLY 14! :o Well, she found this guy who wanted to breed his dog(a dal) and they mated and bla bla bla. 2 Months later, the dal was in labour, she had to have her puppies in the garage! :x All those toxic fumes! :o Anyway, all was going fine, when suddenly one of the pups got stuck or something like that, my friend didn't know what to do, and she had never heard of C-section for dogs! So the mother and all the puppies in her stomache and the one that got stuck died! The two pups that came out nicely died the next day. :( I couldn't bear to tell my friend "I told you so", because she suffered enough.. :( Things like that happen too often...
6.   The most embarrassing thing happened today! I was on Dogo, checking up on the posts and everything, when I needed to go to the loo . So I went, but I didn't lock the door because my mom was out, and my brother knows that it's a hazard to is health if he steps one foot into my bedroom :evilbat: (my bathroom is in my bedroom.) So I was sitting on the tiolet, when suddenly I heard a series of shouts, and then the pitter patter of nails on the marble. This can mean only one thing, Rowie managed to slip inside AGAIN! :o And naturally, the first thing Rowie does is look for me, and I think she might have smelt me or sensed me or something. Because she comes running at top speed, bashes into the door with her head(ow!),forcing it WIDE open, and comes up to me(still sitting on the toilet ) and gives me her PAW! (typical). So then I scream "Rowie!!" (remember she is STILL covered in ticks and I'm STILL sitting on the loo) and Rowie gets all excited and starts jumping around. When suddenly, Proveen(the guy who helps out with Rowie and is our gardner) comes into my room to get Rowie(he didn't know I was in the loo) and the bathroom's door was WIDE OPEN, and when he came in, he sees me sitting on the loo, screaming, and Rowie jumping around! So he said :"Oh my! I'm sorry!" and gets out of the room as fast as he can, but I can see him LAUGHING! And my face was soo RED! Then my mother comes in(she just came back from where ever she was) and takes Rowie's collar and drags her to Proveen who took her outside. Then I cleaned myself and stuff, and my mother came into my room and gives me this whole lecture about locking the bathroom door and bla..bla..bla! Moral of the story: ALWAYS lock your bathroom door, ESPECIALLY if you have a dog! And ALWAYS trust your dog to embarrass you! How embarrassing!
7.
Or he was a vulture....he eats EVERYTHING!!! and if we drop food on the floor...forget it...it's gone before we even look down. he is such the scavenger.
Rowie does that too! We don't even need to look down, we know it's already gone!
8. Oh, your so lucky! Rowie never used to bark, and soon I started getting worried! But then some people moved next door, and they had THREE REALLY niosy dogs! Now, Rowie barks every time they bark! And they bark every time some one passes thier house! :o And then when they hear Rowie bark, they bark louder, and then Rowie barks back at them...and so on till I tell Rowie to be quiet! (But she rarely listens to me!)
9. GOOD GIRL DUCKIE! :D I'm glad she's fully house trained! :D Congrats!
10. Thank you so much RoseBud! :D Unfourtunaly, I can't order, something with the budget! we need to wait till next month! :x we don't have enough money... I just came back from the vets, the apoinment is Sunday at 8'oclock SHARP!! More details later, I ned to go now... :D
11. Roo, any updates? I NEED TO SEE PICTURES!! :D
12.

At the boarding kennel, I think I'd be able to visit, but I think she'll be having such a fun time she won't remember me! :)
Why don't you go with the kennel then? It sounds like agood idea to me, and if she (sorry, all the while I thought Rowie was a he  ) won't hate it... it sounds perfect.
LOL! It's OK Pei, her name sounds alot like a boy! Well then, the Boarding Kennel it is... :D I'll miss her!
13. Bye Pei! Give her a huggy for me! Thanks so much! :D
14.

Should I keep Rowie at the vets until my grandfather leaves? :-? She has a WONDERFUL boarding kennel along with other doggies... She's staying there in the summer too..
That's not abd idea... Personally, I'd go with a friend's house, but if that's not possible... Would you be able to visit him and take him for walks every day?
I don't have many "Dog Loving" friends... :-? At the boarding kennel, I think I'd be able to visit, but I think she'll be having such a fun time she won't remember me! :) I could taker her to my aunts...but the problem is she has 2 Dobes..and thier not very friendly.. :-?
15.

Pei, I think part of the problem is that Rowie is currently a temporary out side dog... My grandfather who is really really sick is living with us for a month(Only 2 weeks left!). During that period Rowie has been an outisde dog... [quote/] I know, Rowie, that's what I meant by asking if he could stay at somebody else's place until that problem gets solved. You know, people go on holidays, and they leave their dogs with friends, or relatives... and as I said, you could even go walk Rowie... Just a thought. I think I'd go confirm the appointment--tell them it's an emergency and insist they make it for today or tomorrow. And be bold about the emrgency! If the appointment is too late, go to your aunt's then. Poor Rowie... :( But he'll be ok, don't worry too much
Ok, when I go to comfirm the appoinment I'm going to tell them it's an emergancy. If they can't do it today or tomorrow I'm off to my Aunts... :-? Thank you both so much! Where will I be without you? :D
16.
Dont forget you still need to treat the garden and a spray to go with the collar can't hurt..how does the dip kill them then?
I'm going to the pet shop to get all the stuff I need...I'm not sure how it works, but Auntie said she used to use it on her sheep. :o She uses it on her dogs though, and they don't have a single tick! :o
17. Should I keep Rowie at the vets until my grandfather leaves? :-? She has a WONDERFUL boarding kennel along with other doggies... She's staying there in the summer too..
18.
Rowie, sorry, I can' help with the website, but just wanted to say that if your vet's appointment is not far away, it's a good idea to wait, as the vet could do both the clipping and the removal... And if you go to the vet's, ask them to stay with rowie while they're grooming him so that you can hold his head (that would take care of the nipping). Ticks and humans... my grandma has a farm in Romania (there aren't THAT many ticks there, but still), and I've spent many holidays there... what I remember is that once a tick is attached to something, it won't come off to go to you, so you should stop worrying you'll get ticks from Rowie, you're more likely to get them from outside, from wherever he got them! And if you get one, you won't DIE either! The only problem I'm aware of is that they suck your blood and if you're covered in them, you can become anemic... Now I'm thinking that the best thing after you have Rowie's ticks removed, would be to have him stay at somebody's house until he can be allowed in your house again--can he stay at your aunt? What about some other relative, or some friend of yours? You can go visit and take him for walks every day, but he'd live in a house...
Pei, I think part of the problem is that Rowie is currently a temporary out side dog... My grandfather who is really really sick is living with us for a month(Only 2 weeks left!). During that period Rowie has been an outisde dog... Should I wait? Because now it's 03:53, and at 04:30 we're going to the office to comfirm the grooming. But I'm not sure WHEN the actual grooming is to take place... I'm worried sick...thanx Pei..
19. Oh my! Those websites! If anything like that ever happens to Rowie, I'll, I'll, I'll die! Please God, make her be Ok!
20. K, thank you so much for replying... There is no danger here in Bahrain of Lyme Disease, but I'm still taking those ticks off! :x We're heading off to my aunts now, she has a Tick Dip that removes all the ticks she has(kills them), and on the way we will buy a PROPER tick collar.. :-? I'm worried sick, but we will soon be at my aunties house.. then on Saturday(I think) Rowie will be clipped... Thanks K for replying, mom is sleeping now, but as soon as she wakes up we're off to Aunties House..
21. Very Very Nice!! :D :D :D What breed is Cosmic? Your a very talented writer! :D
22. Oh please help! I'm ordering off the internet, I don't care what my mother says! So, here's the website I'm looking at(thanks Rosebud!): http://preview.jbpet.com/Shopping/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=JBWholesale&category%5Fname=DogFleaTick&Page=1 What should I buy? I know I'm getting "Adams", and the "Preventic" sounds pretty good. Should I get Frontline? :-? I'm crying right now, Rowie is covered in ticks, and my mom won't let me order off the internet! Rosebud, can I trust this place? Cuz last time my mother ordered something off the internet, they stole her credit card number! :o Now she doesn't trust the internet. Did you buy from this place before? Can we trust it? I'm so confused...my Rowie's LIFE may be in danger!
23. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! :o I went to check on Rowie... They are on every single inch of her little body! In her ears. between her toes, her tail, her head, her neck, her back, EVERYWHERE! :o Proveen was forced to remove them(he hasn't had expierience n removing ticks :-?) They're still not gone. I am not allowed to touch Rowie. If I do, I am sent inside to change my clothes or have a shower. The ticks have invaded our house. My nanny and Proveen are afraid to sleep at night, the ticks have bitten provine a number of times. I am really scared. Maybe if I show my mom the ticks she'll allow me to buy off the internet. I don't care I'm going to my aunts today, I can't wait till the vets appoinment. Wish us Luck.. VERY SCARED Rowie-the_Pooh
24.
I agree with you rowie, the media does exagerate things alot..but this time i saw the picture and it was really bad..but i guess the person hoo would know best here would be Holz cuz she said that's her cuzin! so tell us how your cuz is doing now Holz! and telll her we hope she is alrite :D and yea u guys have made it quite clear that the rotweiler is not a bad dog..its really a bad owner..but its strande that we always here about rotweilers attacking more than any other breed..but that is probably the media trying 2 be biased towards rotweillers and build them a bad rep..juss like rowie said the media likes to play around with imformation
Glad you agree Snoop! :D Sorry I thought you where a troll! LOL! It's cuz you didn't reply! Sorry 'bout that!
25. In a previouse post(Tick-o-Mania! My grandfather and heat...), I said that Rowie was COVERED in ticks! Well, now, it's worse. :-? They are really big, and Proveen(the guy who works for us, he takes care of the garden and Rowie) says that she itches alot, and the ticks seems to bother her. Well now, they're ithiching him! :o I never heard that ticks can make a human itch? My mom was really worried. "What if they go into out food?!" Bla Bla Bla....and I was under MORE stress than I currently am under. So my mother told me to go and call my Auntie Anne. My Aunty Anne is great! :D She has a farm over here and 2 Dobes. She used to take care of sheep, cows, chickens, turkeys, not to mention 3 horses(one of the horses had a foal once! :D) and the odd donkey. So I knew I could ask her for advice. She told me the first thing I would need is a flea and tick collar. I told her that Rowie had one and that it didn't work.(Later I checked the packaging and found put it was ONLY a flea collar!) Then she said Rowie would need to be clipped in order for us to see the ticks more clearly. And that we might need to get some sort of Chemical to spray on her and on the garden.(Unfortunatly, my mom won't allow me ordering off the internet! :x ) Then I asked her what she did for her dogs, and she said that they have a tick and flea collar on 24/7, and that she has this kind of Dip that kills the ticks, that she used on her sheep. So I asked her if we could bring Rowie over and use that and she said sure! :D Then I called the vets to ask for a clipping, the receptionist said I would need to come over to make the appointment. Then I asked her if Tick Removal was inclouded, and she asked me if Rowie had ticks and I said yes alot! Anyways, she said that it was inclouded! :D YAY! I feel So relived!! :D So I'm NOT gonna do it at my aunts, I'm going to remove those darn ticks at the vets. I feel it's much better and safer that way! :D Sorry to bore you all with this essay, I just feel SO relived! :D Bye bye you STUPID ticks! :D Muahaha! :evilbat: The onyl problem is, Rowie will sometimes nip, if she gets bored or aggitated, and sometimes she will find something mishchivouse to do. But I've asked this before and was told that the vet is a trained expert(duhh ) and that she might probably have a noose to tie Rowie up with. So, is it safe for Rowie to be with tottal strangers with her Nipping problem?(This is a different vet than what we normally use as that vet is WAY too expensive, and really far away.) :-? Thanks guys, I always love to come to you guys for support! :D
